I went into Harvey Norman's this morning and I have to compliment all the staff members who were extremely helpful and good humoured. Good customer service is not easy to find today, but this shop has outstanding staff who make shopping a pleasure. Too often shop staff are indifferent and not inclined to be helpful which is disappointing when you need advice and help. Harvey Norman's staff are the nicest, knowledgable and most helpful that I have come across. I highly recommend this shop just because of the staff who are the best you will find anywhere. Thank you all.

Always fantastic service at Harvey Norman Timaru, the staff in the electrical department couldn’t be more helpful recently with an issue I had with a product, they helped me source a replacement quickly and easily. Eddie and Julie are knowledgeable and dependable and I totally recommend calling on them first for any of your electrical appliance needs. This is why we always go to Harvey Norman when we need any type of new appliance. Back up service with sales is an A+ here.

Recently, I bought a tumble dryer from the Timaru store, which was delivered. It was damaged at some time during transit from the supplier. Julie Wells in the electrical department at the Timaru store was exceptionally helpful In locating a replacement and arranging for it to be delivered to Geraldine. Her patience and helpfulness is greatly appreciated.

Our LG TV which is about 17 months old developed a line down the screen. We visited the Timaru store and Julie arranged for the TV to be fix. This has been completed today excellent service by the technician and Julie at Harvey Norman Timaru.

Good prices for what we purchased

Went in to buy a new bed and mattress. I had done my homework and looked at what the firm had available nationally. I made a flexible selection and made a note of models, styles, prices and specifications. This stood me in good stead because the person who served me was appreciative of having a customer with product knowledge. It also paid off in the final total. The goods were not in store as the Timaru store is not a big one but will be delivered free of charge in s week or two.

The last time I shopped there I was determined to avoid the place ever again due to the arrogant salesman and his (failed) attempt to upsell everything.
