K. M.Stunning trip to Waipu Cove, with daughter, Ausralian SIL and little grandson, freshly out of MIQ from Aus. Capped off with an ice cream at the store. I remember this store serving scooped ice cream from my teenage years (63 now!). Quintessential NZ beach store with everything from kids sand buckets to diswash liquid.

W.Conveniently located for everyday items if you're staying in the area, good fish and chips if you want to sit next to/on the beach for evening tea.
