Couldn't be more happier with my first time going there yesterday evening. Didn't know a place like this existed in wellington. Lovely friendly staff. Definitely will be coming back when in need. Couldn't be more happier with how I got treated

Lovely people especially Breanna who made my first experience here wonderful and welcoming. Mad respect and love to all who put in their time and effort and hearts out to help those in need and the less fortunate. Keep up the good work. God bless all

Look, I haven't been to The Free Store yet - I simply did not know that you existed! I am one of those people who finds it hard to ask for help, but I will try - you sound like amazing people, and this tells me that there is still some good left in the world. Some of us are living through the most awful hard times.

Make sure you have a bag with you and be prepared to stand in a line. Other than that this is an excellent place you can get free food fresh that day from various business around town.

The best from the best people. Two volunteers a day give for free, for everyone that makes the line, 4 pieces of bakery (2 salty and 2 sweet) plus some fruit and sometimes big loafs of bred. The food comes from generous restaurants, bakerys and cafes that donate it every day when they finish as they are things that they need to sell fresh. One day REAL they served canapes while making the line.

Support "The Free Store" and the donors and volunteers who make it possible to reach and help the needy. As you know Godzone runs on the backs of ordinary saints viz., the donors and volunteers. It will be more ungodly if not for these unsung heroes who literally provide a lifeline to those on their last leg of existence ... and so prop up NZ (for are these not your brothers and sisters too?)

Leftover food is comes from various food places around town, collected by volunteers. Thanks to those who give of their time & money to feed others - some who might not be eating.

The foods amazing. Never any complaints from me. Take what's given and be grateful.

Despite some grumbling from some of the less grateful customers, the free store ond it's volunteers are doing awesome work, helping many of us survive another day.
