J.Went for cat flea treatment and although they were out of the product I was looking for, there was a suitable alternative. The lady who helped me was friendly and engaging. Will definitely go back

J.I ordered an automatic cat feeder via click & collect (the website would not do delivery despite the product not being very large). It was listed as in store in Whangarei. However I got a call from Helen (lovely service from her, my problem is the company itself) to say their online stock levels are incorrect and she would arrange a reversal of the charge to my credit card. It is now two weeks later, and I still have not received a refund. Helen has been lovely, but as I purchased online, it is out of her control, and no one at head office is answering me. So frustrating. I ended up purchasing a feeder elsewhere, and am unlikely to buy from Animates again.
Edited to add: Finally got a call back from them, to let me know the money has been refunded. Really pleased about this, but still not keen to do click and collect again!

J.Fantastic service even though I am out of town. The staff were not overly pushy, very helpful unlike some animates I have been too. Grooming for my very dirty shitzu brilliant. Only reason I have dropped a star is Lack of stock regarding grooming tools and dog coats which I would of bought.
B.The staff are super helpful and always lovely towards myself and my puppy, the groomers are fast but professional, they always have just what i need wether it is for my dog or my birds.

L.Good shop. For the size of the shop, the product range isn't too bad. But I found a lot of things are quite pricey there. When I askes for advice what to feed my new puppy I wasn't given accurate information and was just recommend on brand of puppy food that was on special and which was of the most expensive range - no other options given.
On other visits the staff was friendly and attentive.
