J.Not big but you will find mostly everything you looking for. Lot of parking spaces. Toilets are very clean. There are beautiful boutique stores. Wheelchair friendly.

S.It's a shopping centre, has a few shops and is centerd, too many oh se haws roaming though and the car park is a dope skate spot na mean nom sayin? Love to shred the ledge near the lower exit, its pretty tttttt tight

G.I enjoy shopping at Countdown, large shop. The mall has a very lucky Lotto shop as well, I wish I could say I was lucky punter...but I will keep trying!
A.Bit busy and not a lot of social distancing. Has some good shops
T.Highbury Shopping center Sunday night food and goods market. Group of six friends from all parts of Auckland and age groups met up for our monthly get together. All went to the food market to end our day together. Each got food, reasonable prices, that they liked and we shared dishes. Awesome, highly recommend for a casual evening for family, friends... etc...
D.Serviceable, but could do with an update now.
A.A regular sized Mall with most shops you need. It has an overall different and interesting layout than other malls in the area. Even though it has your regulars like Countdown and The Warehouse it also has alot of food places that are more like mini versions of restaurants and really good cafés, but not all clumped together like a regular malls Food court as it winds around the mall. My fave is the Japanese eat in or take out where they have sushi but also a full hot food menu, where you can see them cook your meal in front of you on a hot grill.
Plenty of Parking and absolutely no issues with wheelchair access or parking. It has a really good BK and a good KFC all together, inside and outside the actual mall on the top level of parking.
Recently I just had my 1st Covid-19 vaccine here and it is extremely well organised with minimal wait times. We were early to our appts and they let my hubby and I go straight through as a couple to the same cubicle with the person administering the jabs to us both, with info, then a very spacious waiting area, where you have to sit for 15mins after the injection. I find it to be a good and kinda quirky mall but I do like it a lot.
Solid 4 stars. Not 5 stars, purely because winding your way around the mall can be a pain if you're in a hurry!!
Y.Great salon and lovely team. Always enjoy my time at Vivo getting my hair touched up every few months. Love the coffee and treats!!
L.Handy collection of shops to get what you need all in one place... Growing up in Birkenhead I spent a great deal of time around Highbury, riding my bike & skateboarding with family & friends. It has been part of the community for half a century... Overall it has stayed remarkably similar, the shops look changed over the years, but it's kept the great energy & variety of outlets... The small Sushi place in upper Highbury car park is a hidden Gem...

S.Has shops, vicious carpark bumps, a countdown full of out of date food and a vaccination centre. Great if you like buying stuff, destroying you car, getting stomachache and not getting Covid.

Had a muffin and sandwich here tasted soft and had a pleasant buttery taste to it.
Also loved the interior of the cafe.

G.This shopping centre has never fired in my opinion.With the recent closure of their key tenant The Warehouse and uncertain future of Burger King and shops always opening then closing the mall needs to refresh and rebrand itself.The adjoining Highbury shops are delightful but parking is often hard to find.My choice is the famous Highbury Fisheries.In my opinion the best value Fish and Chip store in New Zealand offering generous size pieces of snapper on their menu.Try their handmade fish cake.Its amazing value at $2.00 each.Keep Safe
J.A pleasant community atmosphere catering predominantly for the older shopper. Was impressed to see an ecletic group of knitters in the window frontage of the second-hand shop as you enter the mall...the men in the group could be just as comfortable lifting weights but were right at home - I was impressed!
The Vaccination Centre is tucked away at the end of the mall in what was once The Warehouse and is efficiently run by friendly staff- nothing "shambolic" about the process. I could not fault it. You are in and out in less than 45 minutes.
The Expresso Cafe, once Robert Harris, serves a pleasant coffee.
Nearby shops on Mokoia Road are a worth a visit. Long queues outside Youngs Bakery on Saturdays.
The general area has lovely public gardens and stylish paving. Nice vibe.
N.As far as Malls go these days its fairly average. I wouldn't make a special trip just to shop there. No.1 rule still applies though - Guys, NEVER take your partner to a mall! But if you do 'forget' your wallet.
j.Was able to find what I wanted from the Health Shop. Am very disappointed that their Milford shop has closed.
S.Recent visits have been much better compared to mid 2021.

A.I enjoy going here, its cool to see it after so many years of not being there. It has changed alot. Its sad to see the warehouse has gone, but the countdown atmosphere is still the same in there :)
C.It's handy in having a reasonable supermarket, mainstream pharmacy, ok sushi place and PaperPlus with postal agency and a good optometrist. Otherwise there are a couple of cheap & outlet stores, a couple of mediocre coffee shops (with appalling, overpriced tea) a poor foodcourt and a significant number of empty stores. It really isn't worth the visit unless you need something locally. Year by year, it becomes a little more sorry.
M.Highbury Shopping centre at the heart of Highbury Birkenhead is great place. Award winning Icecream, to Great choices of food on Pizza, Jose's Cantina etc plenty of food choices. Groceries etc all at its usual best. Everything you need id there.
B.So any way. The Warehouse house closed shop. I asked the awesome kebab guy if he's had less customers since then. Yes! It will be interesting what happens next.

I.Parking is okay, I went there for a COVID-19 vaccination, then a coffee and cake. A pleasant place.
M.I had my covid jab there I had not been to that mall for years but it had grown since then. I plan to go back there to shop next time.
S.The loss of the Warehouse has seriously reduced numbers of shoppers at the mall; however, there are many more available car parks.
Y.Need heaps more parking. We need more shops. Hardware, haberdashery, speciality clothing and shoe stores and florists. We need an informal children's play area. On a smaller scale of the old Farmers play centre. It would attract lots of families to the centre. An open plan area for local interaction. But parking is very important especially close to everything. Parking in the mall is not being utilised properly especially the back end. Maybe some shops at the end would attract shoppers and more use of those areas. Or even a child's play area.
G.Went for covid vaccine.
Went to Countdown for a few things. Good store, smaller range than big stores but got what I needed.

F.It's a small mall. But we liked it alot. Has countdown, warehouse, paper plus, ATMs, and pharmacy and done basic other shops. Overall you get pretty much what you need.
M.Wow! Amazing food at 1am is hard to find but I certainly found it here! Vegan friendly options were available - and delicious. Staff were extremely patient considering how busy they were and how drunk most of the customers were.
s.The size is not b8g, making it a bit cozy and compact.. i kinda enjoy the place as u get most of ur needs addressed here, from food to warehouse stuff.
A.Its your regular local shopping centre with shops, restaurants and liquor shops. There is a diverse range of ethnic foods available. I frequent the restaurants and would recommend a few of themas excellent. Lately there have been a few restaurants change hands and change cuisines and decor.
L.It's clean but a bit tired, lacks good shops, it's not a destination shopping mall these days. Carpark, lighting, exit ramp need a bit of TLC.
A.Nice little village atmosphere but a lot of shops have closed in the main mall and have remained empty for a long time now. But the high street has some amazing stores and heaps of restaurants and cafes to choose from.
D.Its such a shame to loose the Warehouse in the Birkenhead Mall. Its a great place to shop and get your medicines at the Unicem Chemist plus all your groceries at Countdown and for a fast food meal the food court is second to none
G.A great little shopping district with over a dozen cafes, as many Restaurants and cafes, a supermarket, bowls club, and many small service businesses.
A safe, relaxed and pleasant destination 10 mins from cbd.
... And yeah, free parking
P.How did it get reduced to this a sorry collection of cheap shops charity stores and in the mall Countdown and a pharmacy and PaperPlus. Can't see that putting Chemist Warehouse where once the Warehouse was will add much although it's clients will hang around
B.As someone who used to be a local I still enjoy coming here to shop. Highpoint as it used to be known is a pleasant and tidy little mall that is also more relaxing and less hectic than the bigger malls, much like Pakuranga Plaza only smaller...
Z.Always loved Highbury shopping centre and they've recently upgraded it so it's looking good... But still multiple shops empty.... especially since the warehouse left.

a.The building is old and theres lots of leaks for cons. But theres a good variety food to buy from like sushi , kebab or just good old burgers. Then you have paper plus for books and stationary and the main ones; the countdown and the warehouse makes the place a 1 stop get all place.
M.Looking a bit dated now. I saw scaffolding setup near countdown, so they must be rennovating. Went there to get my Covid shots.
J.Only visited this place to have my covid vaccine, but the ambiance in this place is quite lonely, not enough shoppers at that time.

A.Old Birkehead mall that has been here almost forever. For some strange reason you can feel that this place is dying out. There is only couple of stores that are working. Countdown, Warehouse and Burger King. The rest, not sure how are they making any money. Food court has couple options: Papa Tasty Kebab, Sushi and already mentioned Burger King.
L.recently moved to the shore, best nail place i have been to in over a year! Lovely staff, did a great job, definately making these guys my "go to" place for manicure and pedicure

D.Smaller mall. Watch out for Countdowns pricing...they put cheaper prices under more expensive goods. It added $10 to my bill!! Not impressed and had no car so couldn't go back and complain withour it costing me more to go back.
J.Highbury town center has all the restaurants one could wish for. So much variety on the food type front and multiple options for the likes of Thai, Indian, Chinese, Korean, Italian, cafes, takeaways... they are all there. BBC for craft beer, Good Home for gastro pub food. Dont forget ecasual foodie for all those delicious ready made take home meals. Most of shopping options are covered as well. Good access by bus, plenty of parking and great views
0.Has a small amount of shops here like the warehouse store B.King & Macds. Countdown supermarkel. There are no banks inside the mall but there is an A.N.Z atm and a B.N.Z atm. All the banks are in Birkenhead ave. Some very nice restaurants can be found such as Chinese Japanese Korean bbq & Pizza. Also kfc.
J.Get my hair cut at Vivo, not many other destination shops but food court has good kebabs and sushi
S.Went for my 1st covid jab today and found the shopping centre hopping with shoppers after they've been for their jabs at the old Warehouse location
A.Highbury has a lot of charm. Need some more exciting shops in it, Like K mart, or more clothes and shoe shops.
E.Mall is pretty OK... A few nice stores Countdown Warehouse.. Health store.. Nail store and few food places.. Parking might be a problem. On weekends
K.Cafe had good variety and reasonable prices. A handy place to meet family who were visiting Auckland.

S.Lots of empty shops. The food court has acceptable, but limited options. I usually come here for the Countdown or The Warehouse - I suspect they're the backbone of the mall.
S.Small shopping centre with underground parking. About 20 shops inside with a small food court and a nice outdoor balcony that you can sit and enjoy food on.. run by NZRPG who own milford and westgate.. be aware of the 180 parking limit, they sometimes tow.
M.Ok..Not the best shopping centre around,very similar to Milford mall and Takapuna mall.very old and run down, small and very average food court.A few cafes,sushi and a Burger king.i come here for the warehouse or occasionally countdown.the building needs a revamp,better food options and trendy clothing stores.ample parking,not too crowded here.

D.Countdown in the mall was a favorite store of mine. Now live at massey. Staff friendly and will help you in any way they can. Set out of products great.

L.This is a nice little mall to go too. It will soon be getting a KMart.

J.Highbury and Birkenhead has just about everything you want except loads of parking. Tend to get there on the bus more so I dont have to worry. Plenty of buses go through.

J.I lived close to this mall before, but has moved since. This mall is my personal favorite, I like the food here and all the other stores. It makes me wanting to move back to Birkenhead.

c.Located in Birkenhead, Auckland this shopping centre is past its glory days. Many shop areas are unfilled. The main attraction within the centre is the Countdown supermarket

E.It's got a few things your looking for, but could do with a revamp. Too few shops, and feels like it's stick in the 90s.

M.Here you will find Burger King, KFC, Warehouse and Countdown. good option in Northshore.
