The mall itself isn't that big as compared to the other malls in Auckland but still a decent one I'd say. The mall is well maintained and well presented. Toilets are clean and tidy. The food court is kinda small and has very limited options. Plenty of car parks available at any given point of time. The customer service/information desk could be an area for improvement in terms of wait time. Mall staff members are generally friendly and helpful. This mall also has a post shop which operates on Sundays. The mall could have more engagement events/activities in my opinion. Overall not a bad hangout place.

Lovely mall, one of best in North shore 😁

This mall is huge, and with Social distancing it was impressive. Every store I went into the staff were happy to help. If it wasn't so far away from where I live I would visit more often. When I get around the City it's safe to say that Westfield Malls know how to impress and keep Customer's coming back.

A popular mall during the weekend definitely, but the customer service staff in the food court had the situation all under control. Parking is stressful as you would expect with huge SUVs and 4 wheel drives trying to squash themselves into tiny car parks. Kmart is the most popular department store in the Mall. Week day shopping would be ideal. Having the movie theatre in the mall is ideal as well. Safe, secure surroundings.

Love this shopping mall as there is always ample parking, it's not too big but has everything you need. Much nicer than the huge malls. Definitely worth a visit 👍😊

I visited a specialty store set up in the middle of the mall. They sell a variety of things, handmade serving dishes platters bowls cups etc. Plus beautiful coloured lamps that I purchased, vases and other things. The young man and lady whom served me were very friendly and helpful with my questions. The prices are reasonable. I forgot to get a receipt and visited the next day for one. I didn't receive the receipt although I was given a business card with details for the New Lynn store where I could take it if needed for warranty purposes.

Good selection of stores,clean and well presented. Kmart is tidy compared to others. The new world is high standard. Yet to try food court

Even with living out in Kumeu we always made the trip out to here for our shopping needs, it has all the shops and variety anyone could want, plenty of parking both open and covered, well laid out with all the major retailers in the close area. I am glad we have moved closer so we can visit this shopping center more often.

im not a fan. i mean it has everything you need! but just personal preference of it being too big for my liking. also one escalator for the whole premises? well only could find one. lol i had to run up and down like a silly goose looking for a way to go to level 1

Clean mall with lots of clothing options and other stores. Clothing stores include glassons, forever new, jayjays, kookai, and country road. There are also electronic stores, home good stores, gift shops, jewelry stores, and a pharmacy. There are also nail salons and an ASB and kiwibank. Foodcourt inside selling sushi, katsubi, McDonald's, tank, and Mexican food. There are bars and restaurants outside. Restrooms available on the 1st floor by the tech store, by the foodcourt, and by the grocery store. Masks still required inside as of April 18, 2022. Additional notes....Parking can be hard to find when busy.

Definitely one of the best malls in Auckland. Plenty of parking available and have most of the brands. The layout is simple and easy to navigate. The stores are nicely presented and the staff is also very nice and friendly. Food court has plenty of options too. I do wish they could add some more brands.

A one stop classy shopping mall with beautiful shops, banks, Life Pharmacy for health and beauty needs (With Luxury Beauty Brands Dior, Lancome, Estee Lauder ,Dermalogica, Elizabeth Arden and Smashbox ) a cinema , a supermarket and a good selection of restaurants.

Great mall. 4 hour free parking. A good selection of shops and cafe's. Large food court close to the cinema. Some nice restaurants and a bar in the outside part of the shopping mall. Most banks are represented and there is an NZ Post office. Larger chains such as Farmers, New World and Kmart are also available.

Great playground open light filled and clean... lots of variety in store shopping.

Fantastic mall so welcoming lovely and clean and a great selection of shops and cafes we had breakfast at the Cafe next to New World the food was amazing and priced so well their service was impeccable

Westfield Albany shopping complex is considered the most largest mall in Aotearoa. Nothing beats this majestic parameter of this place. There are ample of parking. One can wonder upon the Designers’ outlets, as it all brings exclusive quality and uniqueness to your shopping. I highly recommend anyone to try shopping you. See you all there soon!

Good place to enjoy shopping. It’s pretty busy place though :)

The convenience of having all your shopping needs in a fantastic facility. The shopping experience carers for types of shoppers with a verity of options in budget and brand. Westfield Mall offers great options for dining ranging from fast food, fantastic coffeeshops and restaurants. Overall a great experience for the entire family young and old.

A nice enough clean mall with clean facilities. The food court is a little lacking but there is range of shops and big open area. Atmospheres abit boring.

Westfield seems to have lost its appeal during lockdown. Doing Xmas shopping here was more of a mission than an enjoyable shopping experience. No Christmas cheer, no music, carolers were missing, no one was smiling, shoppers seemed to want to get in and out quickly. Maybe the times are changing.

Nice shopping mall. Very popular. Parking is diabolical Xmas time but to be expected. Lotsa shops I like to shop at. Usual Westfield type of shopping mall. Clean n tidy as well.

Had a great hair cut today. Went to the giant new world and got some groceries and bought some greenstone earrings for my partner.

The biggest shopping mall on the Shore. Heaps of shops, big parking area, two big supermarkets, food court, cinema, lots of good ☕.

Clean and tidy. About 65% of people were wearing masks, but most were signing in via QR for Akl L2.5. Breakfast at Paper Moon cafė. Lovely service! Filling food!

It's not really a place I would take elderly people as it was hard to navigate thru the amount of people shopping there.

First time in this mall. I loved groups location of my favorite jewellery stores around a mall and great variety of other stores around a mall.

A good shopping mall with ample parking. Granted people lose their minds in the carpark around xmas time. There is a good range of shops that caters to all needs. There is also good opportunity to make your dogs looks awesome by getting them to sit under trees :) kart has a weird layout with self service checkouts in the middle of the store so if it's super busy i wouldn't recommend it.

What you expected comes to Westfield shopping mall. Albany has a variety of shops but a lot of other stores. Warehouse, Noel Leeming etc. are located across the road. (Not part of Westfield)

Very good selection of stores, a good supermarket, and a modest food court. Could be a little bit bigger considering the size of the Albany Village

Well maintained and a fairly well laid out interior. Never feels overly hot or cold here, or too crowded. The food hall is a deafening riot of mastication, no idea how the staff in those outlets survive the day, but they do so with a smile.

Clean and tidy, well signposted for sanitary stations. Not so busy when we went but looks like crowd control is in place

Great shopping center which caters for all. Good eaterys, which caters for healthy meals to the not so healthy, coffee shops and different restaurants. Will be back in future. It is a well laid out shopping center, big and small companies doing business there, but run by a great management team.

Shot to Number 1 shoes and bought the most comfortable pair of sandals. My arthritic feet love them. Plus unbeknown to myself some of the footwear was on clearance special. Yep yep you got it, my sandals cost me less than 1/2 price. Happy birthday to me 😊

I think this is the biggest mall on the North Shore and it is my go-to place for shopping of all kinds, especially since it has Kmart and also has so many practical services like NZ Post shop, beauty services, pharmacies, and so on. The large number of car parking spaces and an array of (healthy) eatery options make shopping here even more comfortable

A good mall, packed and difficult to park tge car with the terrible drivers.

I regularly have to shop at Albany and there’s nothing wrong with the shops but be warned DO NOT park on the perimeter of the carpark!!! I parked there for convenience as I was also going to be grocery shopping and did not want to have to wheel my trolley too far. There I was spending a lot of money in the mall as I had a couple of big birthday presents to buy, then went into New World to do my fortnightly grocery shopping… only to come back to my car and be penalised with a $55 parking ticket. So whatever you do… please don’t spend more time shopping than you need too, it’s obviously a crime and you need to be punished!!!

Our favourite mall to go to. It's got all the latest shops and it has a big food section

Albany mall pretty much has everything you need, parking gets a bit crazy when it's busy though. Aquisitons is a shop you should visit when you're there, even if you don't purchase something, it's great for ideas and a good laugh!

Great little mall. Not too big but had everything you need. Great variety in the food court and the various food stalls along the main walkways. Parking all around the mall makes it easy to park near the store you wish to visit.

I like that this mall is convenient in a way with their shops, wide variety. Could be jam packed at times, even on a just regular weekend. Parking could be tricky at times especially if it is really sunny and a lot of people are around. You could easily get a sunburn just by walking to and from your car. Lol. 😅😅

Plenty of shops to choose from. Cinemas and a food court. Plenty of parking. Can get quite busy at peak times.

Good mall nice and easy to find and good car park

We mostly go here on or family day. To eat, shop and play. Feed the ducks outside the mall, go to amusement by the cinema and playground downstairs.

This is my local mall - probably 3 visits a week. In a word it is nice. It’s about as standard as you get where I would say the outside is prettier than the inside. That being said you’re bound to have a pretty consistent experience. The new Gong Cha bubble tea place is great though long wait times when there is a line. You’ll probably find what you want but not heaps of options

Clean, spacious, friendly and well laid out. Try to go before midday to avoid the madding crowds particularly at weekends and school holidays. Westfield also now has a reward giving app that at times gains one prizes or freebies for purchases. Keep your receipts whilst these offers are available.

Great layout, and good amount of shops. Good security present. The parking fines are excessive though, so watch out when staying over 3hrs

This mall is amazing! Your go to shopping experience this side of the bridge. Great cinema, staff, dining & bars. Lately I've been loving all the perks I've been getting with my Westfield Plus app.

My only beef about albany mall is the sound levels. Man is this place LOUD. A really busy mall with a range of shops that pretty much covers everything you would want. Best...if noisy...mall on the shore.

Great HUGE place to hang out.. plenty to see and do... awesome food court enough different takeout joints to suit all different taste buds.. reasonable priced.. great place to hang on a rainy day.

Went to Kmart to return 3 mens garments because of incorrect sizing. The customer service staff (2) were wonderful and got full refund. Had dinner in Food Court, fresh and yummy.

Nice clean mall, a place for everyone to go to. Can take kids as there’s a play place on both edge of the mall and can even do grocery shopping before leaving. Can be great for boys too as there’s a Game Center in the cinema, electronic store down stairs and men’s clothing store is available. Variety of food available, healthy, junk and Asian. Many cosmetic store for your ladies liking and fashion. Some gift stores and kitchen wares available if needed, kmart can be handy for small things you need soon or even buy goods for activities and exercise.

A lovely mall, two levels, plenty of parking, also some of which is under cover. Lots of great shops and cafes etc to choose from. Excellent food court. Plus if you ever get a chance the Events Cinema Gold Class is fabulous.

A great place to spend time and relax while shopping for anything you can imagine needing for your home. Many shops from Farmers, Kmart, for everything you need to care places such as hairdressing and chemists, through to the New World supermarket for your food items. Interspersed among the shops are many footwear and clothing shops but you can't go past the food mall without stopping in for your favorite food!

Very nice, most shops closed. Some open but doing level 3 restrictions. Which is kind of the new norm.

Ladies, if you are after beautiful clothes, then this mall is for you.

It's always been a great Mall. The reduced numbers make for a better shopping experience but will pick up again now we are in the new phase

Lovely place, you find everything you need. Lots of parking to stay there for hours My only suggestion is to needs more variety of food stands, not much to choose from Otherwise just great. Staff in every shop visited very helpful friendly and attentive

Decent sized mall with plenty of car parks. It got all the normal shops including a new world. Biggest plus is their restaurants. They got a great offering of pubs, takeaways and fancy dine-in. Love the outdoor area where you can sit and relax the sun.

Big mall to be in lots of shops especially with Farmers and baby city shop. Food could be better as it’s all the same food court places, maybe some big restaurants inside would be good. Loads of parking but would be good to have more parking for parents with prams so you don’t have to walk so far to get into the mall. Staff at the info center is nice.

Really handy having the car trolleys for toddlers keeps them entertained and keeps you in there longer arcade is a must see if You have a deep pocket

Dashed into Kmart for a chair, a wee bit surprised at covid-19 distancing or lack of it in store and throughout the centre to be honest. Large shopping mall, I would have liked to visit the food courts but time didn't permit.

Stopped here for a spot of shopping while on holiday. Spent way too much time and money in the shops here but totally worth it. Easy to just wander around and get food & coffee when you need it. We're even offered free bottles of water by staff. While shops we're busy most staff were happy to assist with any requests. Kids absolutely loved it.

More Number of shops are available in this mall.Multi cultural people are available in this location.For all age groups this location is suitable in terms of entertainment, shopping and other kind of purchases. Clear direction markings were available.. Security patrol was nice.rest rooms were maintained with cleanliness. Overall experience was awesome. Thanks for the facility and maintenance team members.

Many shops love to do shopping here

Great Mall but it does easily have few parking apaces available. The P90 can simetimes be a little short as the Mall is long and thin with nearby strip mall thar's often easier to walk to rather than drive. Generally helpful informed staff. Samsung have an outlet right in the main passage way with especially friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Very nice mall, just like Sylvia Park but has all the major stores under one roof and an outside small lake to relax or take the children to feed the ducks

This mall is getting a bit tired. I feel a bit sorry for them having to compete with the new malls over the bridge. It's frustrating having everything spilt by a road.....only go if I know what I am going for now

Plenty of parking, climate control works fine inside and its got some of the key brands and utility stores. Like every small mall in a small city; the place is packed monday to sunday at any time.

Good place to get a lot of things in one go

Massive as place lots of parking neighbouring stores also contribute to the shopping vibe. Limited indoor play areas and restaurants. Nando's has halal options available. Shoppers have the chance to compare prices and find the best bargains.

I love this place. Loads of shops and I have my favorite stores here. Very busy on weekends, and I find the best time to go is during the week days in the morning.

Hard to fault this complex, its massive. Everything you can expect from a Mall, with all the Label stores etc. Food Hall is fairly good, lighting is good, toilets are very well maintained. Disappointing there are so many stalls in the centre aisles making foot traffic quite congested, and will get worse over Xmas period. Carparking excellent.

Everything you'll want under one roof. You'll always find what you need if your looking for a present or something special. Lovely large forecourt. With other choices of places to eat and meet around the mall for quieter relaxing meals or refreshment. Then you can go to the movies or place games.

Big is better, this mall has everything you could ever want in a premium quality shopping mall. It is in my opinion, the ultimate shopping experience.

This is one of best shopping mall in Auckland, great location in Albany, North Shore and easily accessible by bus. Lots of shops good variety with the usual Farmers, Kmart, New world etc. with the specialty shop Tea2 my favorite and Events Cinema to enjoy the movies. There's also a lot of dining option on the food court and the restaurants outside. If you're ready for desserts and coffee, pop in to Robert Harris on the second floor entrance via the Whitcoulls shop. The mall is open late night on Thursdays and Fridays. Free wifi is now available for shoppers' convenience. Some shops open longer hours than the standard mall hours. The customer service is located at the 1st floor, the staff are friendly and accommodating.

Pretty nice mall with good shops and good prices. Went to the food court as well, which has a good selection of eating choices along with the restaurants and cafes on the outside of the mall. Everything that is typically wanted from a mall is here, it is clean, the shops are well presented and the staff are helpful. I enjoyed that there were information screens in case people didn’t know where they were as well

It's a Westfield. Boutique shopping at its most boring. Edit: seeing as management has taken time to actually comment on this post, I think it only fair to explain my rating further. I was happy enough with my experience in that I got what I was looking for, & I was treated well enough. If this had not been the case, less stars would have been given. I just didn't feel that there was anything that really displayed a community identity. One Westfield is pretty much like another & I just feel more could be done by each mall to identify with the community they service. Also, some of the service people in the stores really act like they would rather be somewhere else. One should be grateful having a job considering this year's events. In conclusion, my experience was just ok; nothing outstanding, but neither was it a trainwreck. If you want to shop for something, you're more than likely going to find it here. The place is clean too, with no trouble parking. I hope this clarifies my rating.

Parking wasn't easy. I got a brochure map from info and purchased a cart for my toddler for $5 per hr or $8 for 2hrs. Best thing ever but a little hard to manoeuvre through smaller shops. Lots of great shops

Busy shopping centre lots of shops to choose from hopefully you'll find what you are looking for. Parking can be a problem on the weekends during the week it's fine. Hygiene excellent Covid apps everywhere

Pretty standard shopping mall but reasonably sized. Has all the big and small stores you would expect. Plenty of parking. Lots of other stores around it. Have been here a few times and never experienced any problems.

Good shopping center wide range of shops for everyone, but poor parking, get there early

It's ok depends what stores you are into at this mall. I like going here in the weekdays when it's not as busy, but so bad in the weekends, all you end up doing is battling the crowds.

Considering shops have just opened up.. not too busy and well managed.

Always enjoy Albany Mall. I was sitting having a bite to eat in the food hall and was watching a lady who collects all the empty trays. She put all the rubbish into one bin. Do you not recycle and separate the food scraps, paper, plastics and glass. I thought sustainable practices would be part of your companies philosophy. We all need to do our bit to look after our world for our future generations.

Good mall, mostly flat, easy to walk around. Food court has a good selection, the outside restaurants and cafes are a plus. Parking is a nightmare on a weekend or school holidays. Wouldn't really bother during Christmas season. Good place for a quick shop. Good selection of stores aswell.

Great mall very good variety of shops where you can buy all sorts of things very clean is well, except for the food court where they let the wild birds in and they poo every where so that is one problem. Kmart can be very messy though especially the shoes area I don't think some of the staff care about put the right shoes on the right hook and put on the empty or closest one and it can be very hard to find the right sizes . the rest of the stores I have no problems with very clean and helpful

Good shopping mall! Has all the relevant shops and great selection of eateries to grab a bite to eat! I had a coffee and muffin at Paper Moon and it was very tasty!

Busy but roomy. Plenty of toilets all with mobility and baby change facilities. Good selection of shops at mid range prices. Good parking for mobility, seniors and parent/child. Nice range of eating establishments both inside and out.

This mall is actually one of my favourites. It has a great a large eatery with so many choices... the picture theatre is right in front of the eatery and is a lovely theatre too.... the shops are overwhelming with the several floors and extensions but all in all worth the walk around.. Alot of jewelry shops here so Im sure you will find the perfect gift

Always love to take a look on Late night days. Event Cinema is the best place in the mall.

I love this place. There is lots of parking and loads of great shops. Not everything is necessarily there but are a close walk to some other shops. Not a heap of shops for blokes but the movies are shown all day and they have gold class. The food court is pretty good too.

Ample parking. Has almost everyshop you could need. Across from.albany mega centre and there are more shops on that side. Clean mall . Nice , practical, logical layout of mall. Across from mpak n save .

Good range of stores and eating places, but it can be hard to find somewhere to sit in the food court during the peak periods (especially 12-1pm on the weekends) and the same goes for the parking. The parking area out to the side (near the Pak N Save) usually has a few spare parks if you don't mind walking a little further

Love going here for movies

More of a nostalgia trip than anything, this mall is basically one-storey (aside from JB-HiFi downstairs), but there is ample motorcycle parking (one by New World, one by Farmers, and one massive covered parking underneath). Very aesthetically pleasing with the ponds out front and nice bars after-hours.

A plentiful and varied selection of shops and food court. The food court is a good place to go if you are trying to cater to multiple tastes and diet requirements, although there aren't specific options, (like gluten free hamburgers), there is Mac's, sushi, Indian, and so forth. Can be exceptionally busy, so avoid peak times of you don't like crowds. Parking is patrolled! So watch our for time allowances or Wilson will leave you a love note.

Great mall everything u would expect and more.

Plenty of nice shops but gets my attention for 3 of them...the sushi bar, Rivendell and the Swarovski store. Nice relaxed atmosphere most of the time. Have to be on your toes to score parking when busy.

A huge flat mall with plenty of shops, eateries, and cinema. However, it feels like once you visited one of their mall, you've seen them all. Although the shops are plenty, they are closely same with their other malls. Finding a parking spot is often a big challenge too.

Great mall but parking here on weekends can end up being a mission! Recommend you get there before lunch for best parking. Its also quite a busy mall people wise! Love that there is a kmart nd farmers in one mall though. Very convenient.

Good place to do essential and luxury shopping. They have a very nice food court. Good choice of foods and lots of coffee shops. Overall a great place to spend a few hours.

I love the mall and its shops, but if you have plans to hit that place over the next few weeks (Xmas), be ready to be stuck in traffic. Even buses do. Downside of having only one big mall on the North Shore (the other shopping centres in the shore are open and usually spread out in between blocks and requires a short drive. A no-no for some).

Spacious mall with good selection of shops which in turn stock a good range of products. Parking can be a bit difficult in busy times but one can be found eventually. A great shopping facility for those living around Albany.

Indeed a mega centre with a huge variety of shops for shopping. Also includes Events movie theaters, cafes, restaurants and bars within the Westfield mall. Also mitre 10, furniture, computer and many other types. Very popular especially morning but extremely so when there are specials sales during public holidays which is great for those that love a bargain but to be avoided at all costs by those who don't want to get caught up in the frenzy of madness, traffic and mayhem!!! Has to be one of the biggest in NZ!

Its clean, stores are laid out well, very spacious and offers a pleasant shopping experience even when busy. Food court is not too bad either with various western and ethnic takeaways. Offices for major banks are also present. And of course also a alot of other stuff such as cinemas, Airlines offices, New World supermarket etc etc.

Good mall overall. Eateries are good and has a reasonable range of store types. Bathrooms generally clean. I really like the fact that there are a few good places for young kids. It's hard to find those in malls.

Better than most of the Westfield malls I've been to. I'm not a big fan of malls in general but this is probably where I'd prefer to go out of the handful in Auckland. Good shops in here and plenty of parking spaces. Food court has a lot of decent stuff to choose from.

Good range of shops, but due to the layout, where it is basically one long corridor, it can be a bit of a walk sometimes. Definitely not as long as Sylvia park. Parking can be quite busy, and be aware that different zones have different time limits, between 90 and 240 minutes. A long walk is preferable to a $60 ticket.

I have always love to come westfield albany as the layout is straightforward, not a lot of twist and turns so shops are easy to find. It is a reasonably sized mall, not small but not too big either. This place is neat and clean. Lots of parking space but it still get packed during the weekends or thursdays. Better come at mid day. Good options at the food court and this place got the hair salon that i always go to.

Probably my favourite of the Westfields available in Auckland. I find the variety of stores and layout much superior to that of the others. Shops can tend to come and go however, so awareness of what’s actually operating is good before you pop in!

It's a good shopping centre but not a great one. Needs more family orientated shops Toyworld etc. Would say for families go to Glenfield. If your a teenager or couple Albany is for you. Movie theatre takes rating to 4 stars but it is looking rather run down these days.

Great family mall. A good place to do your shopping & have your dining.

Great shops, restaurants and food hall. There is a cinema if you want to watch movies. A kiddies play area. Some upper market shops also. On Thursday's and Friday's they are open till 9pm. Enough parking available and a few bustops around the centre.

My go-to place for most of my shopping needs. I wish the shops wouldn't close so early though (6pm most of the time). Bathrooms are clean... Most of the time. Walkways are an issue during peak hours. Overall great!

Great mall, so many shops and free mobility scooters for people with mobility issues so it makes it easier to shop longer!

Just shopping at new world.

The mall itself is big and busy and vibrant. Lots to see and do. The lack of car spaces for such a busy place is disappointing. Still worth the time to find a park though.

This is a great shopping centre - heaps of variety in terms of shops and food stores and an excellent Cinema complex. The outdoor area at the front of the centre is a great place for dining. The whole place is very clean and tidy with heaps of carparking. Love the Kids Club too!

Shopping store was amazing & atmosphere was really good for family to enjoy, went to the food court to have dinner, but...as we went to sit on the table, it's was dirty and sticky which it was really disgusting. My 5yr old daughter didn't even wanna eat cause she told me it gross her out. I could of given a 5 star if tables were clean. ( Wasn't just one table that was dirty) instead we ask the food place for boxes to have takeaway instead.

It's a big shopping mall! Parking nearly full all the time, but a few spots if you look.

A nice mall that's on the smaller side. Good selection of outlets but felt as though there's slightly more emphasis on women's clothing. Food court was nice with a good selection of options. Close to transport links too.

One of the biggest malls in terms of area on Auckland. Nice open outlook. Huge parking facility. Easy access. All major outlets are there. Edit January 2018 - this is one of the best malls in the city in terms of ease of access from the motorways and especially parking. There is ample parking available always, even on the busiest days. The nearby Pak n save store also makes this mall a very handy location. A hub of activity for the locals, there is always some special offer going on. Very highly recommended.

I just love the fact that there are so many underground 'parents with pram' parkings as it's especially helpful with the rainy weather I experienced earlier. Ample other parking for the drier days, great variety of shops and eateries.

Great local mall. Plenty of good quality shops and food outlets. Kept clean and if you go outside of the crazy hours you won't need to fight your way through a sea of people. Plenty of parking as well.

Still my preferred mall, Westfield Albany is abundant with shops and stalls and has one of the best food courts I've come across with such a variety of choices. It's easy to lose track of time with all the different shops you can pop into which makes it great for spending time and browsing on a day out with family or just to spend time hanging with friends.

Great mall layout, high ceilings and wide aisles make it easier to move around. All the shops you could wish to visit, and if you need more shops there are a whole lot more across the road.

One of the easiest Westfield Malls I know to get around. Tons of parking......no really, front & back parking area's are huge..! A really great selection of shops to cater for literally most peoples needs & a great selection of eating establishments from MD's in the food court to a la carte in the restaurants like The Merchant out back with seating outside even. It has become our families go to mall for all the right reasons.

Super busy but we found a park quickly, the food court was well managed by friendly staff and tables were being cleared & cleaned. What more can you ask for?

Lots of parking, though not many covered parks. Playgrounds on both levels, 2year old loves the pirate playground on the lower level. Parents room near foodcourt is great though not as good as northwest shopping mall.

I like everything about this mall - location, ambience, layout, gentry, free parking, shopping range and variety, all branded clothing and departmental stores in this mall feel much better compared to any other. Kmart, Farmers, Event Cinemas with a gaming zone are few to mention. Always some promotional events are going on. Nearby complex has Pak n Save, Warehouse, Briscoes, Noel lemming, Spotlight.

Stylish and spacious Westfield with a wide array of shops and entertainment options. Lots of parking including undercover. Shop assistants a cut above the Auckland average. If it's a mall you're after, here's a good one.

Great mall but it was waaay to big for me to walk around. The food court isn't the best but they do serve food lol plenty of shops to go to. Some are great with low prices but some stores are quite pricey. They have very unique products and stores so thats a good thing. Lots of car park and great service from most staff. Its a very Beautiful mall though.

Bustling is a word I'd use to describe Albany mall. Great range of stores and excellent service, heaps of bathrooms and wheelchair accessible

Huge, comfy, lots of good places to visit and chill at. Has K Mart, which is awesome! Doesn't have Kikki K though, which is a shame. But has most other things. Definitely a great place to bring the kids to

Nice place to shop definitely alit a choose from your common outlet stores and also a few upmarket stores available aswell, also located inside is your go to store kmart for a good deal and right outside at arms reach is all the other stores you definitely want to visit. The shopping experience doesn't just stop there, outside the main entrance you'll find a whole range of bars and eateries to choose from

Very popular shopping centre that has a wide variety of shops and eateries! Even has an ANZ Bank open on a Sunday! Has a cinema complex, every popular fast food outlet available, New World, Pak n Save, Spec Savers and many other quality retailers!

Kmart was well stocked, I found the doll I wanted for my daughter, so beautiful.

Nice place to spend a day

As far as malls go on the North Shore, Westfield Albany is where it's at. Obviously it can't compare to the insane and extensive malls overseas, but it has more than just the basics, unlike smaller malls like Milford and Glenfield mall. There's something for everyone at Albany and it actually has a nice feel to it. It has a wide variety of shops and you can walk around and browse for a while without wanting to leave - it's not somewhere you feel you need to get in and get what you need then get out.

Its huge, most of the stuff are included in the mall. Farmers, pharmacy, Maccas, gaming stores, Event Cinemas etc. Also Albany Event Cinemas has most of the foreign movies that you can only find it here or Queen Street Event Cinema! (Sometimes maybe St Lukes as well)

The mall offers a wide variety of shops and restaurants. It's also popular amongst the SA expat community. My only criticism is the untidy sale signage displayed by one of the appliance stores which really cheapens the look of the shop and seems out of place in a mall.

Visited Westfield Albany while on holidays in New Zealand what a great shopping center has everything you need under one roof. Easy to get around lovely and clean. Next time we visit I will definitely be coming back.

If there is one complain about this location or would be parking. The mall in itself is a great place to spend some indispensable time. Reasonable food options and having the cinema is quite convenient

The space in the store does not allow a wheelchair which hampers me as I need one to get around. Now my husband has to go in and I just have to hope he gets what I want. Not good. Staff are not to pleasant either. I tried to go with pushing a trolley but soon needed to sit down and there was nowhere to sit when my husband ask the shop assistant for help she just said sorry we font have anywhere to sit. Very sad not just for me but the elderly as well.

Quaint shopping mall that's basically a linear path through the middle to reach most stores. I briefly looked at one or two entrances, but didn't see any store directories to help me find out what stores were available and/or where they were though. Pathways around the kiosks may get very crowded, especially if you're a fast walker and feeling stuck behind crowds and families. Looks clean overall though and plenty of shopping to be had.

Good variety of shops for both men and women. Parking can be a little painful at times as the mall gets super busy, also great location the the other stores across the street (warehouse, kathmandu, rebel sports and more) within a miniute walk from the mall

Free parking is easy to find parking. Comprehensive store. But there aren't many places to eat.

Definitely less crowded than Sylvia Park and it's got the same variety of stores. Also, there's a K-Mart here which works well. Great location as it's adjacent major departmental stores like Briscoes and Farmer's as well.

I usually go to Pack & Save to buy veges fruits near Westfield in Albany. That is why all of them are a very fresh at attractive prices. When it comes to fruits and veges , other supermarkets can't beat Pack & Save at all.

Simple and nice Westfield. Definitely not as big as most Westfield's I've been to. Went in to find a countdown but I don't think one is there. Ample parking although it did take a few of us some time to understand where the exit was. Signage could be clearer for guests out of town.

One of the biggest shopping malls in auckland. Has shops for all ages and tastes. Good cafes and restaurants. Movie cinema. Parking can be hideous when busy. And parking warden's are out in force on busy days.

You have shops for all the pockets! It's not a huge place, but you will find most of your needs at one place! Plus the surrounding shops are mega handy!

All stores were well prepared for L 2.5 and visitors were very well prepared. The queue to Kmart was zigzaging in front of the store, so avoided waiting in line.

Like a crowded train station, no special character, lots of unhealthy food and same shops as everywhere - owners do not make an effort to differentiate - life music (people practicing, cultural performance, speeches/presentations not just product pushing - creating a real social space) only positive is the amount parking spaces.

Spend far too much time here. Has all the shops you would expect including Kmart and JBHIFI and always plenty of places to eat and highly recommend the eateries outside the malls food court too, especially bin summer or or want a cold one with your lunch.

Very large shopping centre with a multi-cinema "Event Cinema" a large food court. Different brands and chains of shops are here even some big brand like "NewWorld", "Kart" and "Farmers", post office and banks are also in there, but for a such big shopping centre not so many choices. Another good thing is that is very close to other shopping centres and huge shops (brands) like "Pack and Save", "The Warehouse" and another "Farmers" mainly for foenitures, electronic devices and domestic appliances!

Visit one Westfield and you've pretty much been to all of them... Except for this one little business that sells Vegan / Gluten-free goodies. From truffles and cheesecakes to caramel popcorn and spicy nuts. Big respect to these guys. Namaste

First time I've been there and it is well laid out, easy to navigate; but the shops there were not really my scene... Only 2-3 shops held my interest... Hmm, must be a male thing, lol!

Great Westfields with plenty of parking undercover or outdoors. The usual Westfield shops are here and with a large food court with plenty of food shops to choose from. Be aware during the school holidays it can be difficult to get a seat in the food court. Although not as big as the Westfields I normally visit in Sydney it seems to offer more with having exactly what you need.

One of the largest shopping complexes in Auckland, Westfield Albany has pretty much everything you need from Groceries to high end fashion. They have spacious carparks and they tend to get full on weekends. Downside is that the distance between some stores are quite long.

There is far too much loud music here. Every shop has it's own music. When trying to concentrate on what you want to buy it is almost impossible to think. Pls turn the music down. The place is bustling and jolly enough without extra din.

I always come here to do some shopping, lots of shops to choose from, though it can be too crowded at times so better shop earlier than late.

So this is the biggest mall on the shore.. but it is not that close to a beach... It has all the chains you desire and plenty of parking, unless you go at Christmas time. If you go at Christmas time, be prepared to wait for a park.

Westfield Albany is the place to be. Plenty of beauty stores if that’s your thing and also a lot of Asian fusion food. Loved it. Highly recommend the Timeout hidden in the back of the cinema. Cheerio.

I love Albany! It has lots of shops to visit, which is why I always choose to go there. Its much like a shopping district with all the other shops outside of the mall too.

Biggest mall on the North Shore. Not much to say about Albany mall. I only go once in a while, every 6 months, if that. Traffic access it terrible. Need I say more.

HUGE. Got lost more than once 😅 but they have handy touch screen kiosks with maps on them and it's great that there's so many stores in one place. Lots of parking. Would much rather drive to Albany than Sylvia park.

Easily accessible from the motorway, a good range of stores avaible, food court was clean and well tended by the lively cleaning attendants - a feat on a busy Thursday evening.

They have a Kmart! There are heaps of shops with almost everything a boy could ask for. There are more shops within walking distance. Be prepared to open your backpack/handbag to security! It's the north shore.

Its not a bad mall it has some pretty good stores and the events in the school holidays are good for your kids

Great place to hang out with family and friends. Besides many shopping outlets at this place, they also have a big cinema so you could easily grab some popcorn and watch your favorite movie.

Parking was designed by a monkey. Mainly clothing retailers which offer poor variety. Decent food court. At least it has an open atmosphere.

Being new to NZ I find it strange that this mall is relatively small but covers an unproportionly large square meterage. It does house alot of stores but sometimes you need to walk or drive up and down the length of the mall to get to your intended shops. Another good thing is that there are multiple entry/exit pathways for cars. No undercover parking😥

Like this mall but letting people smoke outside one of the main entrances like outside Hollywood bakery makes it look disgusting and trashy!! Not a nice look. And the MacDonalds is a let down it really needs to be sorted.

The premier shopping destination for mall related shops on the shore. But seriously come early if you are hoping to do holiday shopping or long weekend sales shopping the parking lot tends to resemble a scene from a Mad Max movie when it's busy.

When you are visiting or headibg to north, I would recommend you to visit Westfield Albany. It has all you need from retail shops, food court, movies, pubs, nail saloon and etc. With Mega centre right beside it, you must visit this place. Has huge parking capacity and suitable for your date with partner, parents or even kids.

Nothing special should be expected about this place. It's quite standard maybe a bit bigger than average. However, plentiful adjacent supermarkets, shops and other businesses which aren't parts of Westfield make the place interesting.

The Albany retail complex is a shopping destination. Westfield mall is above average, with a great range of retail shops. It is spacious and easy to get around, with good food options, well serviced toilets and a cinema complex.

Excellent Mall, covers most bases and offerings in Foodcourt are better than most. Plenty of parking, much of it a realistic 4 hours

Clean and nice. But would love it more if Albany mall have more cover parking. Outside parking is too hot in Summer and autumn.

Way too many Asians just sitting on the floor as they wish not taking into consideration there are people behind them or its just plain un Hygienic for the Mall...for some reason lately there are so many spilages...dangerous. i used love coming every Tuesday now if lucky once maybe every 6 weeks and that is all thanks to Kess eyebrow tidy ups.

Great mall, just wish there was more parking. Good play centers for kids to keep themselves busy in between shopping

Omg Kmart is my go to, the New world is nice and the $2 stores are outrageously expensive

Good variety of shops, and the store sizes are generally quite large, offering bigger variety. Parking is generally available, but it can get quite busy.

Nice new mall, lots of shops. Very spread out, so lots and lots of walking. Not suitable for older shoppers as it areas with sloping floors.

A large shopping mall with a wide range of shops, cafes, dining areas, a movie complex and a super market. Big busy parking area. You may need to wait to get a spot near one of the mall entrances.

The shopping centre quite spread out, you kinda need a car to drive round. There are some quality shops here and the New World has a nice selection of hot food.

Great shopping mall, very modern. Some good bars and restaurants around, a top notch cinema, a dedicated Samsung booth. A good variety of stores with well mannered patrons as well.

Lovely spacious mall. Lots of hustle & bustle, easy to follow layout, just try to visit outside of peak times for a more pleasant shopping experience.

Lots of parking. The cinema line for food was unavoidable but you can do parkour there so it's all good.

The shopping centre was great it was a shame that the parking nazis decided to give me a ticket because I was 10/15 minutes over apparentely.I never saw the 2 hour parking limit sign. I also spent about $200 in the centre. Maybe if you spent a certain amount at Westfield they could waver being alittle over on the parking. Soured the day to be honest

Great mall with heaps of options. Only negative thing is the time frame on parking. Make sure you check where you have parked so you don’t get a ticket.

Love it even though it's very busy. Most shops are customer friendly. Plenty of eating places also. Farmers and K Mart are great.

Westfield albany has a great range of shops and also a great variety in the food courte. There is ample parking, disabled parking and parent parking for parents with prams. They have a cinema, a supermarket, jewellery clothing and much more

Love this shopping center, it is on the bus route so if you need to make use of public transportation you either walk the station across the road or wait for the bus. There is a vast variety of clothing stores(Kmart), Banks (ANZ, BNZ)and Supermarkets (New world and Pack 'n Save). There is a cinema in the mall and a big food court with take away restaurants that you can order and sit down and enjoy a meal. McDonalds, MadMex, Subway etc, is a example of the variety of food to be tasted, there are many more.

This place is a great and entertaining place they have gaming stores an amazing food court and probably the best stores you could visit here in Auckland. Defiantly you should check it out.

Good choice of shops for shopping.

Felt comfortable shopping and looking around. Lovely friendly service in all places we went into. Lovely coffee shops very clean comfortable and friendly.

Always very busy either get there super early or just shop there after hours at Kmart, Kmart has eighties music nights which is awesome and no crowds so plenty of room to break out the moves.

A bit pricey, as per the location, but it has most shops you would want in the mall. I wish there was more parking though, or if there were levels so I wouldn't have to walk that much.

A few stores that help you to get everything you need for birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas. It has a playground for kids at both ends and some good cafes

Huge shopping place enough parking and good food stalls along with cinema kids sections promotional products and very helpful customer service desk

We love this place, has all the right shops so we rarely move elsewhere, just watch out with how busy it gets over the weekend. Good cafes outside looking out to the lakes.

Went to Shoe clinic. Maybe I was lucky but parking was good and the shop easxeady to find.

Great mall! There was only 1 electronic store though and it didn't have what I needed. Food court is amazing and clean all round.

Almost overwhelming when it come to choice, but in a good way. If you are looking for something on your shopper's list you will probably find it.

Brilliant array of well known shops. Caters for all ages. Easy parking and plentry of it. Lots of eateries to choose from a a food court also. Supermarket in mall also. Central location.

Good food variety, lots of different shops. Some restrooms are a bit of a hike to get to but are fairly clean.
