Went to buy a vegetable spiralizer and managed to get one for $15. I had seen it at a friend's place and it worked well. Staff really helpful. Had a look round the store which was very spacious.

Found most things that I wanted but store was very messy for Kmart. Shelves were fairly empty so buy more wasn't there. In hindsight probably good for my wallet.

Just like kmarts around the rest of the country. Good to stimulate the retail market in Invercargill. The warehouse has had market dominance for to long and some competition won’t go astray. Kmart really a cross between the warehouse, Briscoe and spotlight. I’m sure they all coughed at Kmarts opening on the 22 Nov 2019. But you would think, that when they built this store, that the one thing that would have opened when the main store opened, is dunnies. Having portaloos in the understore car park is a bit feral.

Yes it is good they have stuff BUT... The warehouse has more, more variety of stuff and is more organised than Kmart.

Disability changing room was full of stock and staff only. When we complained they quickly emptied it out so we could use it. And ONLY two toilets in thd whole complex...W.T.F

Kmart is a great place to visit. They have so much variety in all sorts of products. They also have very reasonable prices and some really good bargains. It is also great to have a food court attached which provides a good variety of food types at very good prices. Sometimes you don't realise what you want or need until you have a good look around.

Nice to finally have a Kmart here, but honestly I find it lacking compared to the others I've been to. The shelves are consistently empty or low in stock, with many gaps throughout the store. The amount of times I've said 'I'll just buy it online' is ridiculous. The floor staff we've encountered have only been rude - one in particular stood out when she pulled a moody face when we asked politely if she could move her box from the bench in the shoe department so that I could sit down to try on some boots. Good thing to say are that the checkouts are generally always quick to get through.

I have to drive my family down here every view weeks from Dunedin. Totally worth it. Always stop by Devil Burger around the corner. The 'Best Chicken's downstairs is dry. (Not affiliated with K'Mart.

It was great like any other Kmart except most of their shelves were empty. I even went back a few days later and still nothing. **UPDATE** Their shelves are well stocked now. My first impression of Kmart Invercargill was from not long after they'd opened, but now that they've been running for a while, everything's great the way all Kmart's are.

Handy place to pop into if your in a hurry. Just have to cross your fingers they have what you want in stock. They were pretty well stock when I went.

You can find most anything you need or want well laid out staff are friendly nice to have a better version of the Warehouse in town. Prices are great not Extortionary as in other places the women of Invercargill have waited a longtime for Kmart to arrive.😁

If you're road tripping to Invers for Kmart with a baby/toddler, do yourself a favor and stop in at Macca's to use their changing facilities or be prepared to change them in your car as there is no change table facilities at Kmart. 😭 still no luck getting the items I've been chasing for 9 months now.

Good prices and a lot of range. I have, however, often noticed that some shelves are left empty of with very low stock. The store is spacious with a choice of places to eat around it.

While Kmart does have a wide variety of items and sometimes for low prices, the stock that is on the shelves is ridiculous. Most days when I go in there is next to nothing on the shelves for the most popular products. Furthermore, I see staff sitting around chatting or doing nothing when there are customers that need help nearby. These issues aside, the place is nice but not as good as the Kmarts in Dunedin and Queenstown.

Nice big Kmart, but you need a bit of zigzagging through the isles to find what you need. The big minus is the amount of parking. Pretty sure 95% of the people will come by car. But not enough parking available.

Overall Kmart is just as you would expect. From what I've seen all the team are pretty happy to be there. I'm always greeted with a smile. Just keep the place stocked and stuff in the right place.

I don't DISlike K mart but it is rather a "daunting" floor space when many of the other Southland shops of similar stock/size are of less floor space. Product choice and range is good. Miss the number of sales staff. All in all it is a matter of getting used to the departure from what one has had to now.

If you have never been to a Kmart before then you have no idea how good this one actually is Most of the clothing was tidily put away Stock was full with a large selection Lots of staff that were happy to help All items very reasonably priced Having lived in Auckland and visited many Kmarts before this is the best one we have been to by far

Big store but range is limited. They have filled up the shelves with lots of the same stuff. I wish the layout was the same as other stores like Dunedin and Queenstown. But the food court is a great addition and exactly what invers needed.
