Reviews of The Historic Village
Really cool place to go for a wander (as a first time visitor to Tauranga). Lots of cool little shops and galleries hidden amongst the streets which are littered with piece of art on the walls, the ground and the greenery! You really have to keep both eyes open else you’ll miss something. We didn’t get to go visit all the shops as were were travelling with a toddler who couldn’t sit still, but they all looked very interesting. Definitely worth a visit, and not to mention, everything here is very photogenic!
A must visit in Tauranga. Not very big but spacious to walk around & feel like you've stepped back in time. All free. I wandered around at 1pm & 8pm while waiting for a family member visiting someone in hospital (just next street over) it has good video surveillance so you feel safe & cute old fashioned street lamps.
Absolutely beautiful place! Gorgeous shops. I love the gem/rock shop the most 💎. Went on a few walks through bush and played with wooden toys at the man she'd, highly recommend a visit
Unfortunately we went very late when everything was closed. But I can see this being a lovely buzzing place. Very clean and nicely laid out.
Great place to take the kids for a day of rock hunting.
What an awesome little place. If you go too tauranga then the historic village is a must
Awesome quiet peaceful tranquil community of shops, mental health support services , museums, cafe and unique traders of all types and kinds. Definitely worth a look if you want to see a beautiful place of modern people in older beautiful historic shops and buildings Very impressive indeed.
A Must Visit when in Tauranga Bay of Plenty - Take a Trip to the Past and explore the Village. Packed full of interesting Shops with many Hand made Products - Has a Great Vinyl Record Shop where you can Update your Collection - Also has many Community Help Centres also including the New Centre called the Kollective . If your Looking for a Coffee and bite to eat there's a Good Cafe. There entertainment also with the Yearly Multicultural Festival usually in March.
Great spot to relive history with markets on some days, many shops and a few radio stations to make you feel like dancing.
There is also a lovely bakery (The Whipped Baker" with a basic breakfast menu & selling the best donuts & Freaking Shakes in Tauranga
We were searching for places to visit in Tauranga and nobody ever told us about this Historic Village. What a charming old western looking village! Featuring the past, it brings us the feeling we traveled back to the old days. Theater, coffee shops, radio station, chapel among other attractions make this place a mandatory visit. Will come back again this summer definitely!
Great layout and well worth a visit. Be sure to stop for a coffee.
Had coffee here the coffee wasn't hot enough which was a bit disappointing buy the cinnamon bun we had was delicious 😋 love that the historic village is a bit of the past of Tauranga adds to the ambience the theatre looks cute too
Nice place. Vintage-inspired shopping complex made up of original & replica buildings & cobblestone streets. It's a small but very nice area. Good for kids. They also have a cinema. If you're a photographer interested in vintage style photos, you must visit this place. They have replicas of over 100 years old buildings and cars.
Awesome look into the past in a beautiful setting. Lovely pieces of art everywhere and a market on Friday nights with a great bakery on site too. Rock hunting is popular with kids there who love to find and hide little treasures.
Loved this beautiful, historical park. Lots of great NZ art if you are a visitor to the country. The bakery/cafe has incredible pastries and luncheon fare.
Was really busy so took a long time to order but overall a pleasant experience. Food was yum although some staff may not enjoy the role they have there.
Went in the evening so didn't get the full experience however seemed really cool and makes you feel like you're in a completely different place
As if you are in the Hollywood setting 😍 small cozy ‘village’ with a few tiny streets, the pond... really worth to spend a half an hour. Souvenirs, cafes, 🤳 very picturesque!
There is a multicultural event when we went there and there were heaps of foods to choose from while people from different cultures perform on stage.
We love the village, it takes us back in time. It is always lovely to take in the ambience and go back time and time again.
This place is awesome. There are lots auditoriums for program. You booked it for your family or community event or festival. We did here. They have everything arranged nicely. Coffee shop and others shops also. All people are friendly. There are lots of parking available. This place decoration is like old London.
Love to see the outstanding and historic building which be part of Tauranga city for more decades to come 🙏👌👍🙏😍
They have Sunday market in every 1st n 3rd Sunday. You will find some treasures from someone else junkies🙏👌
Finally emerging from dark decades of neglect, the historic village at the west end of 17th ave is becoming a genuine destination. A great cafe, some quirky shops, and a strong social focus, means that you can really enjoy your time there. Check out art at the incubator, occasional movies, music and comedy options, the envirohub, and much more. From the village, walk, run or cycle along the adjacent ecologically restored valley to Tauranga Crossing (the Lakes). Or go the other way and circumnavigate the nearby estuary. Endless wildlife viewing opportunities are in both directions.
Lovely atmosphere of yesteryear. Nice coffee shop. Very art oriented. Very limited parking due to its popularity & location right beside Tauranga Hospital.
Loved it. It definitely portrayed the old era. Great shopping experience and great Cafe with great food and customer service.
Google helped me in discovering this place so just returning the favor now 🙂
Absolutely amazing place which makes you feel like you are walking in a western cowboy era 🤠
Went for a haircut at Village Barbers (top service as always, thanks Trina) then went for a walk around with my daughter who was looking for the painted rocks. Good atmosphere
Onward Christian soldiers, With a gracious heart we will make good whatever we face in life, Promise Tauranga volunteers will be a good sauce of inspiration to all that take part, 4.A better world in need and Homeless
Great little spot to visit in Tauranga. An eclectic group of shops and services.
Delicious fresh donuts & good coffee from the Whipped Baker then a walk with dog while child hunts for painted rocks.
Visited this place on Christmas where all shops are closed hence was only able to walk around the hood and enjoy the quaint architectural buildings.
A great place where Colonial era buildings have been put together in one place. I had a great coffee here.
Village is great, the whipped Baker is the best in the area, sausage rolls much much better than Patrick's pies. Market now very poor and disappointing.went to the cinema last night fantastic
Loved this village. Whipped Baker serves great coffee and food.
Tauranga historical buildings are def worth a look. Pioneering history and a theatre, community stage, cafe and leadlight studio.
Great atmosphere, great environment and overall an unsurprisingly historic experience
Cafe brilliant but unfortunately most of the little shops are closed until Monday 10th January.
Coolest place been to in Tauranga yet really had a mean time lots of diverse stuff exactly what we where looking for!
This is a spot that should be frequented more often by all. It's a bit twee and odd, which is the charm. Just a nice place to saunter around to while away some time in a non hurried way. The cafe is great wiht some product you don't see anywhere else (in Tauranga anyway) and teh art gallery, rock shop and music shop are all worth a visit. It's a bit of a nerdy place but my kids love it too.
An enjoyable experience, we visited on Waitangi day and stayed a couple of hours.
Really delightful place, worth a visit and a good walk around. Busy little Cafe, didn't try personally, but donuts looked real good.
Amazing art space. Abit confusing to find your way around on your first visit
Absolutely love the historic village, the barber is great, we've visited the men's shed which is full of amazingly crafted wooden things, the whipped baker for yummy treats, kids love looking for rocks there's always something happening. Such a cool vibe!
Great safe place to have family birthdays or go shopping to support local.
I have been her lots miss the clidstall horses my brother used to look after them
This place is getting better and better. Love the atmosphere. Awesome barber, great cafe... cool stuff with movies and music.
It was a great experience walking around the old style buildings
An amazing vibrant art hub with dedicated artists with vision and the desire to empower others
what a choice spot, makes you feel like your in a different time . well worth a visit
Very nice and very quiet. A hidden gem.
A very interesting and informative place to visit. Can recommend the savoury scones at the Whipped Baker.
Peaceful and relaxed area. Bakery does great food... yummy cream donuts good coffee. rock shop really interesting with fluorescent rocks in the dark room. Clean toilets. Lovely way to spend a couple of hours
Quiet, but a lovely place to visit and admire old buildings
Lovely morning at the market, yummy Caramel bread and butter pudding at the Whipped Cafe.
A village that keeps on surprising. Antiquities, theatre, colonial buildings and a community hub for non profits social outreach orgs
I goind The Historic Village to be a very interesting place filled interesting shops that I never knew about.
The business owners and staff are very welcoming and I have yet to visit the entire site. With cafe's to visit, you could spend hours looking around and enjoying the atmosphere of the village.
Super Cozy, Try the Bakery and get a Cream Doughnuts.
Always a pleasure to check out what's on at the Village.
We love the Bakery in the village. The most divine selection of cream cakes and buns and muffins plus fab coffee and decadent smoothies. Close to the walkways through the adjacent valley so a perfect start or end point to the walk
Wonderful place with so many art places
Great place to visit. Also enjoy the best coffee in Tauranga.
Great day at the cultural festival held there and beautiful performances by all who participated. The range of food choices were many and we enjoyed pork and chicken on rice with an amazing and tasty side salad of red onion, ginger and carrot sitting in a sweet liquid. It was worth the money 😊 our pics are mainly of the buildings there which have a vintage feel about it. Theres a variety of shops there to browse or buy from, a cafe called The Whipped Baker where there is a variety of cabinet food and desserts e.g doughnuts and other sweets to choose from and they are yummy as 😊👍❤
Such a neat place to have a walk around. We went at a time when only the Cafe was open, and it was still cool! Would love to go when all the shops are open.
Well presented nice destination for a coffee
Great place to go whipped Baker is a lovely cafe really good coffee and great selection of food in cabinet. Gem shop is a must love it..
What a cool place to hang out ! Particularly loved The Station - a retro retail space with vinyl records, turntables and music paraphernalia, a simple but tasty cafe menu and a wrap around deck - oh and a radio station ! Very chilled out and a really creative fun environment.
Interesting shops, ambience. The Mens Shed shop well worth a look.
Nice buildings but very small area.
Authentically vintage town shopping, with village green, cafes, music, theatre venues, arts, craft and community events. Popular for wedding photos. Jam sessions Sundays from 4pm.
Retro style
Interesting place for a wander. Bakery has delicious food. Good for a lunchtime stop after a bike ride in the reserve.
Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Seating outside amazing.
Caught up with some mate with kids and the kids really enjoyed themselves. Playing on the lawns and just running around. Great place to find a coffee and just relax with friends.
Recommend a visit to the Tauranga Rock and Gem shop. Very knowledgeable staff with great information.
Worth a visit. Chikd friendly. My favourite is turners gallery with beautiful local artwork of all types. I buy my soap from Turners as we. Beautifully hand made and gorgeous scents. Cafe there too
Its nice to stroll around and look at the historical buildings. If you plan to shop there it pays to check out the shop times first. A google check said the place was open but when i got there on a wednesday at 3 you could walk around and look at the buildings but very few shops were open and i had to go back the next day for what i wanted. It has some great arty creative shops, retro clothing and a gem shop.
Beautiful village it s a nice place to go out with your family or friends. There is a great bakery/cafe there to get yummy pastries and good coffees.
Love this place but was disappointed with the length of time it took to get in the gate for today's plant show. 50 minutes. It wasn't very well organized for the amount of tickets sold. This place has so much potential.
Funky vibe friendly shop owners love Mood bar Incubator and the satellite art place x def a must visit in Tauranga during working hours or a Fti night when the food markets are on also a Saturday has a good vibe too
Great experience, friendly people, passionate people and some awesome vinyl on sale. Bonus of a jazz festival on when we went. Will def go back
Very quirky !! Gardens are beautifully maintained and there is a detailed care of the area, a little cafe offers delicious food, nevertheless the waiters have no idea how to serve properly!!
Nice buildings, but not much to do. Shops are often closed. Needs some spark.
Great place to see artist working in Satellite Studios and enjoy a delicious coffee and donuts at tge whipped bake check out exhibitions at The Incubaror and peoples gallery and enjoy the Maori art at Okorore studios and wnjoy walks around the area surrounded by native bush.
Not much stalls open today, but the music wow. Absolutely beautiful voice. Great songs. The small amounts of stalls that were open had some really decent stuff to see and buy. Definately will be going back again.
Free entry
A lovely little trip into yesteryear. The beautifully restored buildings and paved roads are a feast for the eye. If you're into gemstones and fossils, stop by the little shop in the village and be sure to check out the little room with black lights and glowing crystals.
This is a great place to visit, shame it's underutilized
This is a great place to visit, I've been plenty of times over the years. Wheelchair accessible to the village, one of the best Cafe's in Tauranga is located there. Clean toilets. Good variety of shopping, with an art gallery, and funky, retro pre-loved clothing shops, even a man's shed. Beautiful preserved buildings to show local history. Plus more that I've yet to discover. Totally recommend checking it out.
A surprise Quaint well presented and suited to all for a relaxing few hours A blend of outlets some true quality and artful design with very affordable prices I was quite amazed really at the prices which make such quality available I strongly suggest taking something home to begin a collection Marvelous Easy to access between destinations
Some unique wee shops tucked away in a cute boutique style setting....and the coffee is good! A great place to brunch 👌
A very small artsy village which was lovely. Went to the cafe for breakfast and loved it!
Ohhhhh wow this place is one of my favorites 😍 ❤ ♥ 💕 💗 💓 😍
Lovely chance to see some living history and culture
Always a pleasure....take some dog biscuits and you can feed the eels , the grounds are lovely for a picnic and some neat shops to look around .
It's an amazing place. The buildings and the ambience remind of of those movies setup in the 20th century. I can literally imagine myself posing there with my friend, in the classic showdown style. Both of us on each end, with our hands on our pistol holders... Staring each other in the eyes..
Had such a fun day at the Jazz Festival 2021. Great to also wander around the beautiful boutique art galleries and specialty stores.
The best time to visit the Historical village is the weekend, especially when there is a market happening. Also a great place to go when there is a new artist showing in the small art gallery there. During the school holidays they hold childrens activities which you need to book for- they seemed very popular.
Worth the visit.
Interesting shops located in historic buildings. Great cafe with lovely homemade food and good coffee. Unfortunately there are no set times for shops to be open so it is a bit hit and miss as to what us open when.
Great donuts and coffee at The Whipped Basket
Situated on the outskirts of the CBD, I would say the historic village is most definitely worth a visit but maybe when the street market is on. We went this morning and it was very very quiet. Few nice shops in the old buildings and a good cafe at the end of the street.
The best time to visit the Historical village is the weekend, especially when there is a market happening. Also a great place to go when there is a new artist showing in the small art gallery there. Love the Historic Village. For a budding creative person this is the perfect environment. I cannot wait to spend more time here next year, hopefully in a studio space working on new and exciting projects! It's a place to be in Tauranga.
Always a great place to explore
Beautiful vintage, retro cobblestone village with 'out of the box' shops, gems, crafts, woodwork wares, a Cafe, lead lighting shop, retro clothes, homade soaps and so much more. There's a vintage classroom and church, art hub, toilets, a Saturday market, and a cute little bush walk that you may find painted rocks hiding. Well worth a visit!
Jam factory is underrated and fantastic. Bakery and music shops cool. Nice atmosphere. Undiscovered and pleasant for all ages.
We're UK based but have visited Tauranga a few times. This was our first visit to the Heritage Village and I am so sorry we missed it before. We only popped down for a stroll rather than any event so can't comment on those, but we were really impressed. The buildings are lovely, offering a real sense of place and character. The shops and cafe area enhance the buildings, giving it all a very lived in feel. I often feel NZ undersells some of its tourist sites, and this is another one that deserves a lot more attention and advertising. Parking was a bit dodgy the day we went. Well done everyone concerned, keep up the good work.
Although it's very different Historic Village from the one I visited during my primary school years, I love that it is becoming more of a community space. There are some awesome events and workshops held here if you are interested in music, arts and culture. Definitely check out the Incubator area.
Such a nice place to come for a coffee, with rad little boutique shops and chilled atmosphere. Great place to incorporate into a family outing.
Sundays Market, Shakespeare in January, lots of old, restored houses, history of the settlers, lots of different shops offering very varied goods, the man's shed with handmade wooden toys, We were warned by the bus driver that not much would be open. there was one shop and the eatery open but it was still nice to wander around and see the buildings
Regular at Devour Theater. Try adult acting classes huge fun and something a lot different.
The historic village is an interesting place to visit. The buildings in the village are kept up with constant upgrades. While some of the buildings have been built in the recent years, there are a fair number which are true to the age of historic. There are many functions held in the village on weekends for all to enjoy.
This was a little surprise I didnt know about when going on a random trip to Tauranga. I googled things to do in Tauranga and this came up. It reminds me of the Auckland museum's Colonial Village...but bigger.
I think it's worth taking your children to The Historic Village. There are things for them to experience, such as ringing the church bell and going on a little Bush walk. We could only stay a short while. Need a couple of hours there.
There was not much to do in the village and there were only a few buildings remaining. Nevertheless we took a few nice photos of historical buildings and objects. I reckon the place is perfect for wedding photos especially when taken by a pro.
So much to look at here. The buildings are old 🏫. Cute quirky shops. Trendy cafe serves great coffee. Gallerys are interesting and display local artists. The gem shop is amazing
A little village
It'd nicer with more actions
A good place but always deadly quiet
Hope place uses more lively
Theres a nice cafe to order treats to go so you can sit out by the stage and people watch people walking by and plenty of space for the kids to run around and practice handstands!! There are public toilets there too!
Called into my favourite glass supplies. Leadlight Expressions
A hub of activity happens down at the historic village. Take yourself at for a look and make sure you check out the cafe. Its an interesting spot and continues to mature.
A nice place to enjoy a cuppa and stroll around the grounds of the historic village. There are a few shops that sell various items and not too pricey. The cafe there has some great savouries.
Whipped Baker was superb as usual. Doughnuts are exceptional.
Great summer holiday art for kids!
Went to a wedding here, the place transforms at night you can almost imagine yourself walking through a historic village.
An interesting mix of shops. Overall an okay destination though those in charge need to fill empty space's and create a vibrant and enticing atmosphere which will draw people in seven (7) days a week.
Great place to visit artisans and take a quiet stroll as well around the village
Really good to have this place. Has a very popular cafe on the corner and Seniornet courses for the retired about all things electronic.
Awesome place to take the kids, good Cafe there
The garden and art fest was amazing! Bloom in the Bay Hub worked so brilliantly to showcase local artists and garden related businesses. The Historic Village is already home to The Incubator and People's Gallery, The Artery and more with many volunteer and start up businesses and organisations to explore.
It's not as good as it once was but it's ok
Wonderful way to spend Waitangi day, music, great vibes, awesome craft stalls, food and drink. A great family day out.
Nice to walk around the old village look at the little shops the cafe is awesome found bread pudding dessert yum, also visit the village radio station who play the old classics they might even play a request the village has theater, cinema, and markets and events plus much more
Neat place to go and see the past history, however it is not a working peace of the past most of it is used for businesses. A lot of potential here but council has no drive to get it into what it should be like ferrymeed in Christchurch.
Its a great place to spend some time / relax and the people there are really friendly.
Lovely place to walk around and even have a cuppa.
Quick walk thru. Visited Whipped Baker for savoury scone. A favourite. Recommend.
Always lived this place! Such a beautiful part of History. Highly recommend visiting The Historic Village 👌
Our bus tour regurgitated the whole of us on the ground in front of the village entry. Many ran as fast as they could to the cafe, others marched to the beat of their own drummers. There's a lot to see here. Overlook that it is largely a reconstruction and do investigate whre the real originals lie. Many of the buildings have taken on a new life as art studios, etc. but there are a few that have not abandonded their roots. Of particular interest is the Faulkner House (circa 1844) and catch a glimpse of the severity and make-do-with-squat kind of lives they lived. It was one of the very first homes in Tauranga. We appreciated the exhibits and thanked our lucky stars that we were born in another time.
Great place, love going here, it's a real functional village in historic buildings. Great arts and music Centre with regular gigs in the historic hall and movies in the theatre.
Great little place. Great music, food and a cool vibe. Bargains to be had too!
Lovely quaint little village, with interesting little boutique shops and a lively little cafe that has home made goodies and a taste array of drinks.
Weird but wonderful place. Nice wee cafes, art stores etc Worth a checkout but don't expect to spend much more than an hour or two.
I visited the whipped Baker and unfortunately had an accident where I knocked my tea pot of boiling water off the table onto my lap. The staff was so helpful pouring lots and lots of ice cold water on to the burns and I called my husband to come and take me to Ina where my Burns could be treated thoroughly. Then the manager of the historic village rang me to check that I was recovering nicely, a week later. All the stuff went above and beyond the call of duty to help me.
Nice food at the whipped baker but the staff need to be more vigilant at clearing the tables. Couldn't find a vacant table without dirty dishes on it.
Great day out but I lost my Pandora clip on pink daisy charm I got for my birthday I only had the charm for a week and two days when I lost it on Saturday August 29th
Love having coffee there with my architect son who works across the road. Food and coffee pretty good. Nice environment. Go.
Tcc had a seminar on garden worms, which was GREAT. The venue was large with fresh water and toilets, very clean and tidy.
A microphone could have been used
Friendly community of like minded people. Cafe's, Music, Shops, Events. Must see when in Tauranga!
a lovely place to just wonder around to enjoy the atmosphere.
Enjoyed Waitangi Day Celebrations variety of stalls and food; I attended a live theatre, entertaining...
Awesome little 'village' The Whipped Baker is a must to visit. Good food, nice selection, friendly staff and they have the best dougnuts in Tauranga!
My 6 year old loved the gem shop. Good donuts and cupcakes from the cafe. Vinyl Destination open some Saturdays.
The Incubator Creative Hub at the Historic Village is the best place in tauranga for creative community, art events, unique gifts and beautiful scenery!
It is a good place to have a look around. There is movie theater, Cafe, and a barbar.
Was fantastic lots of cool shops n really nice cafe and historic houses etc highly recommend to all ages
This is a working village in that a number of businesses and a cafe operate out of here. However though the buildings are historic the businesses are not.
It's a quiet place to visit and spend time wandering.
beautiful place to step back I time and really appreciate our past great craft and art shops awesome cafe.
A quaint and arty pocket in tauranga. Well worth a leisurely stroll. Nice to see an area where the cultural scene thrives in such a beautiful little setting.
Cool little place to walk around for a short period. Half the shops open on Sunday including the cafe
I have great memories of when this was the proper historic village and doing class trips etc. Turned into more of a business centre now but still has some of the old chararistics that it had. Whipped baker is really good.
Lot of work going on and a lot of the shops / historic buildings not open. Fabulous mineral and gem shop. Parking difficult however if you wait a park does become free.
Let the photos speak for themselves👌🏻👍🏼
Nice place to visit when in Tauranga.
What a quaint little village. Enjoyed wondering through and visiting the boutique clothes shops, art gallery and local produce sellers. An enjoyable morning spent here.
Market day was Crowed and staff at stores and stalls we're oddly pushy when it came to buying. Maybe it's just not an environment with young adults in mind, but I did not enjoy the experience and left as quick as I can
Great place to wander around - stop at one of the yummy cafes for coffee
Really neat little place. Great atmosphere, some cool little shops
Awesome place for food or a stroll around the village, highly recommended
Haven't been there for years so really enjoyed going today
Cute little local market. Whipped baker is delicious. Nice little bush walk for toddlers at the back of main toilets.
Cool for the kids to explore. Amazing cafe and the gem shop is amazing.
Awesome place to walk around and enjoy the atmosphere. Plus a perfect place to grab a delicious bite to eat, you won't be disappointed.
It was a great experience. Our preschool kids loved the rock hunt.
The adults loved the trip into the past.
Really good to see that most buildings are being utilized. I would be happier if the bush walk was a little bigger and possibly an old style children's playground.
We went late afternoon during the week so not much happening but was still really good to wander around. Some cool old buildings. Would like to go back when the market is on.
Cute (free) reconstituted village which allows to have a walk in a city of the 19th century. The art studio must be visited and the small store of gemstones situated at the end of the main street is very interesting (stones and fossils exposed, as well as a phosphorescent room).
Great vibe to check out
All right for walk round but not much else unless there's events maybe
Star attraction is the Whipped Baker...Would also recommend the Gem shop...check out the black room.
Very pleasant on a sunny day, relaxed with a coffee and then wandered around Vinyl Destination's new store. Worth a visit.
Interesting! The oldest building in Tauranga was relocated there. Has nice places to do a picnic, and shops to buy beautiful things :)
Nice place, good to see the shops in their original state.
I love this place. All shop owners are friendly, the cafe is great and if u want some "quiet time" there are plently of spots to sit in the sun😊
Good food here.
Great food and drinks, just need to get in early or you will miss out
Purely and simply...olde Village...adddddddddddddddddddddddddccc
The Historic village is a must see for anyone in the area. Check out the neat little barber shop that is in the village.
The village is interesting for the old buildings, but there is not much to bring people here for. I'd like to hang out in the men's shed but I am way too young.
A haven away from the city. But don't be decieved by its tranquility - it is a hive of creative and community activity and ingenuity. A 'must see' when visiting Tauranga.
Went to Di Wali festival here Sat 7th Nov. Great atmosphere, people, food and dancing
A great day, a great place to enjoy the talented people who share their gifts with all of us, a magical day.
Love the historical feel of this place. Radio Men's shed, boutique, pre-school, cafe ... Also incubator and tattoo studio. Really good to see it all.
Looks great, the market wasn't on due to rain. Markets held 1st and 3rd Sundays each month I think.
Great place must visit place in tauranga city it have an enthusiastic feeling. Good for relaxation
Cute place. The Parent Centre is very cool, and the Whipped Baker has vegan options.
Came here for the Tauranga Multi-cultural festival and had a fun afternoon. We had a quick nosey around the Historic Village on the way through, and it looks fantastic.
There wasn't much to see there but I am sure it must be buzzing in the Summer
Make sure you visit The Station/Mood cafe for good music, local beers and a tasty bagel.
Radio station was excellent. Some really good stuff in there!
A great facility. We attended a birthday party in the upstairs room. What a wonderful place.
Nice area with a range of shops from bars to clothing shops, good blend of modern and old architecture.
Nice place for families.
What a lovely place to visit. We had lunch at the cafe and it was delicious
Such a neat place with old buildings. Worth a visit lots of things to look at and a cafe and barber aswell
Great ambiance Great food
Great place , very good cafe, amazing donuts
Great little place nice Cafe and a skatepark for the kids
A lot of renos happening at the moment and the poor shop owners are doing the best they can and in this heat too! Look forward to seeing the finished product.
Explore the history of the region at the Historic Village. Stroll the cobbled streets and experience the charm of original and replica buildings from days gone by.
A nice place to meet amongst old buildings for a coffee and food.
