R.My Partner and I had a fantastic couple of days in Wanaka. Our stay at the Moorings was great. Lovely unit, clean and had everything we needed.
Will definitely be back 😀
B.The good:
-Short walk to Wanaka township, water and restaurants.
The Bad:
-Rooms need maintenance and a refresh.
-Poor noise isolation in the room, we could clearly hear traffic and drunk people all night like the windows were left open.
-Bike storage is poor, prohibited from rooms and cleaners cupboard option wasn't locked as advised.

4.Comfortable, warm and private. Stayed with friends. We booked an apartment which was clean and spacious. The parking space is tight and difficult to maneuver in though and the shower curtain kept feeling all up everyone's bums while showering. Bit odd to have shower curtains these days - considering the pricey you pay for the apartment, probably the only thing worth upgrading. I'll stay here again though. We stayed in apartment 8. Good stuff!

B.Had a fantastic stay at the Moorings over the weekend. Staff are very friendly and hospitable and the Apartment was terrific. Was suggested a lovely place for a meal during our stay and even that was spot on.

J.What a fantastic motel/appartments. Wonderful location, less than 50m to the lake! Breathtaking views of all the surrounding mountains!
The room was super well equipped, gas fire, barbecue, full fridge and freezer, gas stove top, oven, dish draw, 2 TVs with a outdoor seating area, and large spacious lounge, bedrooms and bathroom. Really clean and modern, you could live in these rooms!
Really good value for money, will be definitely be coming back!
D.Great location and facilities. Hosts are really welcoming. We skied Cardrona daily, and it's an easy drive up the mountain and back. From there, we'd return to the Moorings to freshen up and stroll to the fantastic restaurants and bars on the main Street. Highly recommended!

B.This is a very nice accommodation, a few minutes walk from the Wanaka town center. The rooms also sport a view of the lake. The owners are also kind and let us park the car in their lot after we checked out for the day to explore the town.

off season which made it quiet and very pleasant.
