T.Huge shopping area where only Kmart open at 8am on 1st Jan
R.It is a very busy place with lots of customer parking spaces, so there's no problem looking for one anytime of the day unlike the Strand, where we usually drive around the street a few times just looking for a parking space.
P.Plenty of car parks. Pity there's not a lot of shade so your car is hot once you've finished (especially fine days). Toilets a bit dirty but better than nothing. Limited food places due to proximity to mill.

Y.Love this little supermarket, it's so well stocked, plenty variety helpful friendly staff.
E.Shops are great but need bigger and cleaner toilet facilities...these are just horrific and don't suit all ages! Also could do with more food and beverage outlets so familes can actually enjoy it out there with their kids and being able to take a break inbetween shopping to rest and chillax the kids!... gated play area and gaming like timezone should be out here...even mini golf!

L.Great little area to shop lots of different places to choose from plus heaps of parking. Would be 5 star but needs cheaper food place bit expensive to take the kids to eat out have to go into town for that option

g.Worth shopping here. Can get good discounted items from most of the stores in the this hub.easy parking here also. No problems parking if you're on the road caravans or camper vans.

W.Usually has what I need. Bought the first bike for my 4 year old greatgrand daughter. She though has ridden her brothers first ever bike both from Kmart.
K.One place for everything but I still like being in town supporting our local businesses. We got a great little town.

M.Good range of shops and leading brands with a price range to suit everybody benefits of a coffee shop in the middle of the hub. The arranger shops that service from hardware to clothing and kitchenware. Stores have friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always willing to help prices vary so it pays to do a price comparison
T.Loads of parking. Normally busiest on a Saturday lunchtime-afternoon. No reception in shops
G.We visited Columbus Coffee. A fabulous experience. Ok, I think they are the only Cafe in the hub, but they DO provide an excellent service and coffee. Staff very pleasant. They catered for a gluten request. Was great.
J.Could do with another cafe and the toilets are yuk, otherwise usual big stores and shops are conveniently placed for parking
S.When there was talk of opening up The Hub on the outskirts of Whakatane I couldn't see it accommodating the Eastern Bay. I was proven wrong...thinly shop missing is a grocery store 👌🌟
L.so very busy today but Columbus provided a delicious chicken and halloumi salad which saved the day with everywhere else in the district shut.

E.Awesome place almost everything in the same area, like k mart, Postie plus, coffee shop, number one shoes, farmers, rebel sports, etc loved it. Be nice to have like a new world shopping centre there too.
T.It's a good place if you know what your looking for,and where to find it. It saves time to ask for help instead of walking around and around,like I did. AWESOME
T.I think shopping at pain save is good.And service is great.
L.Good variety of stores, but the draw cards are the Variety Store and Columbus Coffee. Variety store has some great crazy gift ideas, and Columbus coffee is delicious.

J.Good shopping area, however needs an updated toilet area and more food outlets. Very limited with only one Cafe.
W.The Hub in Whakatane has all the major outlets. Harvey Nofman, Farmers, Kmart, Briscoes, Postie, One Shoes, Bunnings, etc. This is right at the start of the city. Heaps of parking and easy to get to.
