C.I had the most wonderful experience today at rebel. With help from Alec I was able to get in and out in no time. Alec went beyond and above to help Me (A terrible shopper). That man needs a raise!
k.Really good experience- was after a specific item I’d found online and I couldn’t find it on the shelves. I asked staff for help and they were very diligent and went out of their way to help me get what I needed. Thanks guys! :)

A.The security lads always a gentleman. Staff are friendly and accommodating easy to get around the store too.
C.Took a little time to find my size of shorts, the security doorman was very friendly and helpful. Not sure how many staff work there but it was difficult to find assistance except for the doorman. Happy with my purchases.
r.I was not impressed with the layout of womens tennis shoes - very low stock and poor size range BUT i was very impressed with Hannah, the young woman who served me so well and helped me select a running shoe as a substitute sports shoe!
S.It was a bit of a nightmare trying to find anything as the store is going through a refit and nothing is in its place
s.Came here to get my friend some shorts. Store was pretty tidy and spacious. Prices were not cheaper than competitor in it's class. The cheapest short I got priced $50. There was one helpful staff (the oldest staff) that would help you around.
N.Busy car park & not many staff members to ask for help (when I went) - not my cup of tea. Good range and good easter sale 20% off everything. Note that you can order on line for $6 delivery, or select click & collect for $3 but you can simply ring the shop and they will put it aside for you for free.
T.I was looking for a good pair of gym/running shoes and called ahead to make sure I could secure a pair and have them beat another stores price.
Once I tried the shoes on I decided they weren't the right fit and asked the retail assistant, Sol to recommend some to me. After telling him my preferences, he suggested a great pair. Very knowledgeable about the type of shoes and how they benefitted me with my goals.
After I picked a pair, he told me there was a 25% sale the next day for which I was bought them the next day for a great savings!
Highly appreciate his time and help!
J.I do on occasion venture into this store, albeit mostly for my overactive children. A muffin top like me, clearly have not lifted a weight in years, but I still like to look... and try it out when no-one is looking. Rebel probably has the widest range of all the fitness stores for your everyday sporting activities. I have however had to go elsewhere for soccer boots, due to stock issues from Covid I guess, but I would generally go here first for my sporting needs.

V.Shopping was just ok. Expensive and not a great range of quality sportswear. A number of items were placed on wrong hangers which makes it hard to find the correct size

I went in looking for a back pack 11 litre for walking and they went way above their Customer service to find the bag i wanted. It was in the back store room.
They worked as a teamand keep me informed along the way.

K.It's a good shop but I do get fed up when the shelves are very untidy and not stocked (shoes mostly) couldn't find anyone to talk to either
S.Big standard fair rebel sport. Difficult to find the items I wanted. Basketball shoe selection was minor and not many for the big footers like me
J.Only give it 3 stars as they offer a good variety and brands, some of the people working there are great but they seem under pressure due to being understaffed. The store is usually upside down, but hard to find what you need and if they have the model, then good luck with the size! It wouldn't take much to improve.
V.Went to buy some slip ons for the kids. Plenty of models online but went to store and hardly any available in stock

C.On a recent visit to Albany looking for a particular item for my son so he could receive it post major surgery that day, Brooke went above and beyond phoning other stores to ensure driving the 90 minute return trip wouldn't be a wasted. I'd like to thank her for her kindness from the bottom of my heart. I'd recommend shopping there just to receive that awesome compassionate service with a smile. A.Today's been a really busy Saturday morning for them. Despite that, I had been assisted well, albeit there was a wait. Staffs are very courteous and helpful. I got what I wanted and will be posting photos.

p.Great service from the Albany store rebel sports is my go to store for all my sports apparel and the range they have is awesome.

N.Good selection of sportswear, although not many support staff on the floor to help, especially on a Sunday afternoon... Good thing is they accept ASB TrueRewards, so able to spend all the free rewards we've earnt. Great Christmas ideas for the young, and young at heart!

1.Individual stores probably won't have what you want if your a picky buyer. Better of choosing online, therefore you can find the gear is at and test it out. Sales prices are not always up to date.
G.Great range of products, good sales every now and then. Pity you can't try out racquets before you buy though. I bought one and it was terrible.
