D.Huge range and really helpful. We'd been to a big box retailer the day before and the experience could not have been more different. Snowcentre had so many staff, and so even though there were lots of customers we got help straightaway. Chose a pair of skis and bindings with their expert help. Pricing was great too. Will be coming straight here next time!
a.My go-to retailer for all things snow in NZ. I have purchased both in store and online and the service has always been on point.
I've even had them ship product to the South Island so that I didn't have to fly with it.
If they don't have what you're looking for, you only have to ask and there's a strong possibility they will be able to source it from their supplier network.
J.Top notch fast friendly service from staff. Got a couple of stuck snowboard binding screws and they were able to remove it quickly even though I made a hole in one of the screws trying to remove it myself with a drill and screw removers.
Looked at some new bindings after that and Jerome was helpful, patient in explaining the different bindings and not pushy at all.
B.Awesome experience today dealing with Ollie. I had to get new ski boots and I’m sure I was really difficult and annoying but he was patient, kind and really knew what he was doing. I’ve walked away with a great pair of boots when first up I didn’t think I’d find anything right! He’s awesome, great service - they moulded and fitted the boots to suit my foot, they did everything the could to make sure the fit was spot on, plus gave me an 18 month warranty too!

I had bought a second hand board+bindings from here and unfortunately part of the binding broke when I took it out to the mountain (due to plastic being old). When I took it back to them, they were happy to replace the entire bindings for me, free of charge, no hassle! Great reliable service, will definitely be coming back here if I need more gear. G.Really amazing place and normally have amazing service however today I tried calling them asking if I had a jacket. Spoke to a woman who's name I would rather withhold for her sake but I was immediately told that "I've got other customers to deal with I don't need this right now" and hanging up. I was surprised more than anything. Working in retail I understand that we can get that busy but I would appreciate a little bit of kindness about it...
T.I have just experienced such an amazing level of service from the team at the Snow Centre. I brought a pair of top of the range snow board boots in 2018 (Soloman Malamutes). However, I had issues with getting the fit right as the top of my feet stick up a bit. The extent that the Snow Centre have gone to make them work for me (even after a year) has been the best I have ever experienced. Their company approach of helping to make the boots as comfortable as possible is outstanding. I have always previously focused on trying to get the best price for top of the range gear. However, the value that the team at the Snow Centre add is huge and I am now converted to buying from them and will be recommending the same to all my friends and family. I would also like to specially mentioned Roman Giuliano Mayon for his patience and technical ability to master a solution for my particular problem. Legend!
L.I'm down here for the snow season and I had to get some pretty cheap equipment. I dealt with American and European snow-sport stores and honestly I was really surprised about how they took care of me in there! In my experience, the people working in this kind of place know how expensive those sports can be, as such they simply expect to swap the credit card, no questions asked. Yet those people working down at Snow Centre are at the top of their game!!! They know very well what they are talking about, they have some great equipment with a huge selection! More importantly, they are willing to go the extra mile in order for YOU to have fun! I got out of there with all I needed within my pretty tight budget. I really felt like I had to thank them by writing this review. So here it is, a massive thank you to the greatest snow-sport store I have ever been in!

J.People here are to in their own world to offer good service, or they actually have very little knowledge. I guess this is what it would be like if McDonalds sold snow gear. I have brought a lot of gear from this store and their deals are great.

N.On the pricy side so be sure to check the prices of goods online as the mark up here can be substantial. Being the only dedicated Snow Sports store in Auckland this is a great place to get kitted out ahead of the season. Best prices here are during their famous pre season sale at the end of May.
