m.Wide range of high quality products but a bit pricey
M.If I could give 10 stars to your staff member Calvin (or Kevin, sorry 🙃), I would. We came the other day to swap an item, and he was super helpful, polite and well spoken. He took the time to explain us the process and helped us to choose the items for our best benefit. Can't wait to go shopping to T7 again :) Thank you Calvin (or Kevin 🙃) once again!
M.These guys service our bikes. They were incredibly attentive and even put the bikes back on the rack for us.

A.I bought bike lights using click and collect during challenging Auckland lockdown times from Torpedo 7 Albany. The most impressive part of that was the people. Their customer service was superb. They not only promptly responded to my order but even made some tricky returns and exchanges. The guys were super friendly and kind. Not only did I feel myself a valuable customer of the company, but treated as a friend. I will be happy to deal with these awesome people again and again.
E.Basically had a private tour of the shop. The guy who showed me around was really thorough, then patient and not pushy when I had to decide. I ended up not buying what I went there to buy, choosing something different based on his advice. Will def go back to their store again.

M.I went to Torpedo7 to purchase the Rockwood canvas tent and entered the store hoping there would be a good deal on surfboards too. I was helped by a lovely and knowledgeable young lady who knew her stuff when it came to surfboards. She offered me a great price on the board I wished to purchase since I had already decided on the tent, I didn’t have to ask for it. Because of her friendly, respectful and knowledgeable service I ended up buying an additional item. So, thank you for your help!

Great spacious store with excellent service!
J.I was pleasantly surprised. I have not really been here before. I liked the layout of the store, it makes everything easy to find. You can find your items effortlessly. They have a decent range of bicycles, some surfboards, ski's and fitness wear available and they service bicycles on site too. Pricing on bikes are similar to other shops in the area, but they also stock their home brand which is competitive.
E.Amazing service from sweet Lindon. Wanted to get some second hand skis fixed up and he was amazing! He was full of ski equipment advice which was amazing! He also had experience this season with the clip in bindings which I really wanted a genuine opinion on. He managed to do this while helping 5 other people. He deserves a pay rise!!!!!

V.Ordered a bike online. I tried calling about 6 or so times and couldn't get through. Left a message on voice messages and no one called back. Finally called through to the manager who answered and confirmed eta. Very happy with the bike and the service at the bike depot was great when picked up. Mostly my experiences have been good in the past.

M.I've been here several times and found sometimes the service and assistance is fantastic and sometimes nonexistent. Perhaps it depends who is working or what department you're in or how you're dressed on the day. Had a positive experience there today. Disappointed I can't get a refund for the ski boots they did a store transfer for that were way too small, but relieved they will allow me more time to find something else to spend my store credit on. No issues so far with the gloves and socks I've bought there last season.
C.They honor their warranties and customer service is great! Being the peak of summer we were a bit upset when our SUP paddle broke on Thursday evening while on the water. I was dreading returning it and having to entertain the conversation. The lady that served us wa s really helpful and called the gent that deals with the warranties, we walked out with a brand new one and were able to use it last night! Thanks for understanding your customers needs! I will definitely be back for any sporting needs!
C.Spoke to Olivia on the phone about whether they had a gazebo in store that I had seen on their website at a very cheap price. She said she could see it in their system that there was one left but it wasn't on the shelf. At this point she could have just given up but instead said she would check out back and in the container and get back to me. S.Very helpful and friendly staff. Especially Doug is very professional and knowledgeable. However, their cycling clothing stock went a bit cheap recently. I went to buy a cycling jersey 2-3 times in past few months, but no luck. Overall they deserve 4.5 out of 5.

m.Went to collect a purchase that had been delivered to store for collection. Product got damaged when they opened it. After 25 mins they agreed to get replacement couriered to home address. That was Saturday afternoon. Replacement arrived Monday morning. That was great service thank you
P.T7v has a good range of gear and there are some good helpful people in T7 Albany and there are some really useless ones that let the store down. Either unhelpful or unknowledgeable or both... I wanted some Thorlo socks and the guy I asked had absolutely no idea what I was talking about nor any clue where they were. told me that they didn't have any and then I found a dedicated stand of them... and I've tried to ring about 10 times today to check if they have a tent on display and they haven't picked up the phone once. That is just poor consumer service. Common guys make a bit more effort you could be a good store if you tried a bit harder!

R.I have an old bike that needed repairs, and decided to use Torpedo7 as they were local to me. I cannot commend the quality of their service and customer care enough. The job was done well, but what stands out is the awesome personality of Dave who works behind the bike repair counter. Employees like this should be actively rewarded and encouraged. It isn't often that you'll engage with someone who goes far beyond the requirements of their job and actually injects character and humanity into the work they do.

P.Went into the store on sunday to get a pair of ski boots. My feet are pretty fussy about these things so I tried on a few pairs before settling on what I wanted. The floor assistant was really helpful. The guy at the checkout was equally helpful. Strongly recommend these guys for top notch customer service.
T.We have always found Torpedo staff to be helpful and knowledgeable in their area of expertise. They also have a wide range of products especially in cycling accessories.
T.Good variety of products, some of which are at very resonable prices. The bike workshop leaves something to be disired. While the quality of work is good, they miss out on items that I have specifically asked to be fixed. This is not due to slack attitude, but rather. On the workshop mechanics being so stretched and overworked and having to double up as bike sales staff which doesn't leave them enough time to do all the work required. The management needs to get the mechanics only to do mechanics work and enclose the workshop so that mecahnics do not get bothered by customers. Also getting a bicycle sales dedicated people will help the business alot. I was there with a friend last weekend and there was noone to give bike advise for purchasing the correct bike for his son. He still purchased a bike but the experience was far from amazing. The sooner they fix those issues the better.
