P.Picked up my new 17HMR yesterday, and after putting 100 rounds through it, I couldn't be happier. This calibre wasn't even on my radar, but Chris took time to listen to my intended application, budget range, personal preferences, and made an outstanding recommendation. My son is pretty chuffed to be able to knock of bunnies with confidence at 100m too (picture attached!). Great customer service. Thank you Chris.

J.I'm not surprised to read the great reviews about Chris. I've had other dealings with GC stores and this one is by far the best. Excellent product knowledge and customer care/follow-up that completely exceeded all expectation. I gather that behind him Chris has management that backs this level of service so well done to the whole team.

Well, once again I've found myself dealing with these smashing fellows. Nathan, a huge thanks to you and your perseverance. We got there in the end. As difficult as I can be, you held your nerve and got the win. That's aces in my book. Nathan, it turns out the the Aimpoint is absolutely spot on both figuratively and literally. Natural light conditions is the key. It's like a needle point!! I'll be back.
02.01.19 - I searched and searched for months for someone who knows their firearms. You want to buy a firearm?, need firearm advise, Gun City Hamilton has the man you need to speak to. FREDERICK. He knows his s$#t and will assist you with the right advise, provide you with what YOU need and will surpass all your customer service expectations. Yep, beyond a shadow of a doubt he has gone out of his way to earn my business. Happy to spend my hard earned $$$ with this chap.

E.I can't say anything about the store contents or guns, but the customer service here is amazing. I took a child in to have a quick look around, thinking that it may be interesting. One of the workers there took him around the store, answered his questions. He explained gun licences and the fact that machine guns were illegal (a disappointment for sure). Even knowing that we weren't looking at purchasing anything, this guy went above and beyond, this is by far the best customer service that I have experienced.
C.Started off OK but been sloppy. Items on website are hardly in stock. Lack of transparency and in general it’s a lot of work to get what you need without looking like it’s your (the customers) fault when all you’re doing is enquiring as their website is always wrong. They need to keep that up to date!! Go direct to the main Christchurch store and ask for Josiah or Auckland and ask for Shaq. Much better service. Call and send a police form. A little more hassle but easiest solution vs. back and forth emails to find something isn’t in stock. Shop around too for better prices.
