Owner was super helpful in helping me find the gear I needed to do the Tongariro Circuit. She even put on a 5 minute video about the hike for me. She helped me find reasonably priced gear (especially given that I might need to ditch some of it during my travels) that would do the job. Super knowledgeable and friendly. Would definitely recommend for good priced high quality gear in Taupo.

They'll have everything you need. And the best part of it is that their prices are really good. The owners are a really nice couple who invited me to coffee while I was looking for everything I needed. They will share some advices with you, on how to take more advantage of the outdoor stuff that you have, and the one you're buying. They've tramp a lot, so they have a lot of things to share.

Really friendly and helpful owners, it's a pleasure to know these specialty shops still exist that are privately owned and stock quality equipment. I will be visiting each time I'm in Taupo for sure. Thanks
