Incredibly helpful staff at this store. They helped to rectify a product exchange that I tried to complete in Queenstown, but wasn’t getting very far with. They were able to confirm that the product I was exchanging for was correct and had exceedingly better service than in my local store in Queenstown where I brought the item in the first place. Worth the drive over the hill. Thanks to all who helped me!

I went into the Wanaka branch yesterday after a recommendation from my partner who’s been coming here for 12 years. Now, i'm a snowboarder and you’re mainly about that two plank ski-life. We don't mix a lot, but you guys welcomed me in. I have a historic but serious ankle injury that gives me unbearable issues when snowboarding if not managed well. I was welcomed with warm arms with my one-plank, and your staff we extremely helpful. I had several inquisitive questions, a thorough inspection of my foot and boot and then some basic mods & recommendations. Everyone was very fun but professional. I want to applaud your team for one of my best customer service experiences of my life. Thank you

Very helpful team right on the waterfront. The bike was great for the trail and the comfy padded seat meant I could stay out longer. They were laid back and great to chat with. Great experience and a fantastic way to spend a day in Wānaka.

Awesome staff! Very helpful and rental gear really reasonably priced. Also let me keep the skis for the days I wasn’t skiing so I didn’t have to return and then go back the next day to sort again, which really helped! Will definitely use these guys for any future hires!

Fantastic experience with Cam and Jason at Racers Edge - cheers guys. Really impressed with the service throughout my custom boot fit - the whole process was really informative, with genuine advise given along the way. I felt really comfortable trusting their recommendations. They figured out the ideal ski boot for me and had it moulded to my foot for a perfect fit. And it was all over and done with really quickly. Highly recommended - living in Wanaka, I buy a lot of product online, but you don't get that level service of expertise or service from an online sale. Thank you!

Great bike mechanics, and awesome service. I think Rob was his name, took my bike in for a few repairs, bike was fixed fast plus a few other tweaks for no charge. Plus great chat and some handy tips! Highly recommend.

We had three experiences with Racers Edge , 6 years ago. The first two were exceptional, the last one was immoral and it has saddened me that there are people out there that are happy to benefit from others misfortunes. My husband and I both bought and had professionally fitted new ski boots. We were advised very well and the fitting and molding to the feet was exceptional . I also had boot warmers fitted , also wonderful . I still use those same ski boots today and they are comfortable beyond belief. My issue with this shop is the following . My husband died a few days after buying the boots and in our way back to the airport from Ohau , we dropped into the shop and asked them if they would sell these almost new $600 boots for us as second hand and transfer the money. They obliged our request . We had no use for them in warm Western Australia , and already had much baggage to fly back in our distraught state. We left contact details and heard nothing ever again. I rang up after sevral months to speak to someone, was told yes they remembered the boots and would find out where they or the money had gone and would ring me back. I have never heard back, and it would seem that someone has taken the boots or the money for them for themselves . I am really very disappointed that a shop that we had spent quite a bit of money at would take advantage of their customers like that especially after huge trauma . I would be very happy to have contact from the owners if they are prepared to sort this situation out. Due to this review, the manager called and sorted out the lost boot situation. He could not find the boots but has apologised and reimbursed me an amount that is fair . Thank so much for taking the time to investigate and sort this out for me . I have amended my rating of your business to reflect the entirety of my experience now . I will be back when next in NZ.

I came here with my old mountain bike looking for a new tyre and a couple other small things. The staff were knowledgeable, had a look at my bike and helped me select a tyre to suit my needs. They also gave me some great advice about my concerns with the bike. The tyre had to be ordered in because I have a less common smaller size rim but the other things I needed were all in stock. I left the wheels with them so that they could be trued. They called a couple days later to tell me that my axle was damaged and it would need to be replaced. A new axle was ordered and fitted with a quick turnaround. Super happy with the service and the price was fair. The new tyre rides so much better than before!

Hired a bike at short notice. The Giant Trance with Fox front and rear suspension was awesome and perfect for the singletracks and trails around. One star lost only cause there was no spares (tube or kit) which may have been overlooked. Otherwise great bike and hire process.

Hired bikes from here and the man was extremely polite and offered to transfer our half day rental to a different day right after it started raining. We went on to Dean's bike track the next day and stopped into Double Black Cafe as recommended (brilliant cakes and not bad coffee if a bit weak) ordered a cappuccino and my partner had a flat white and it tasted the same.

Amazing service from Cam and Jason et al - finally replaced my 19 year old Nordica boots with perfectly fitted Atomic boots that were beautifully comfortable from day one. Highly recommend Racers Edge for all your ski gear
