Very few restaurants in Piha, and this place offers indoor seating, outside seating and carry out, too. The fish and chips were average, and the prices are the same for carry out or eat in from the kitchen. There are several bowling greens, and non-members are welcome. A short walk from the beach or the campground, and they often have live music, too

Lovely place to dine. A Cosy warm fire. The food is divine. Great value. Friendly Staff. Well worth it. Lovely look out. Great for children.

Very friendly regulars and folks working here. Chatted with folks we met there, who were very nice and welcoming. Drinks are standard and inexpensive. Food was homemade and DELICIOUS! We had fish & chips and a burger, both were great. The side salads were so, so fresh. Great little spot. They are cash only.

We ate at the bowling club twice for an evening meal. By far the best food we’d had on the west coast. Simple surroundings with friendly staff. Well priced and well cooked food. The fish and chips were delicious.

Another delicious meal this evening at the Piha Bowling Club. Super fresh fish, crunchy chips and side salad. Friendly staff in a laid- back atmosphere. Plus if you don’t mind sitting outside you can bring your dog!

Staff were very friendly. Its a old bowling club so adjust your expectations and you will have a good time. Drinks seemed a little cheaper, need to sign visitors book. Food was good, enjoyed my meal.

Incredible fare. Huge portions, great salad and hot fresh veggies like cauliflower cheese, friendly staff all homemade don't miss the fresh fish and chips. Great prices Mark and Calvin

So much fun on live music night. Visited Piha in the winter time without many options to choose from. The bowling club offered great family fun, as in several local families joined in performing, singing, and enjoying live music with each other. It was a really great way to connect with the locals and enjoy old school 'good ol' clean fun. Check it out if you're looking to connect with the locals, have a beer, and chill out

Juan Monetti is a disgruntled ex employee, his review is just bitter pettiness on what is a perfectly respectable place with great people. Come along to the Piha bowling club and see for yourself. (A) rated kitchen, good food, the drinks are cold and the people are friendly. What more can you ask for.
