Q.Great times. Toilets were clean. Kids were kept busy. Seating for lunch. Lots of activity. Fun day. Train has longer ride than what I remember. Well worth it. Try to go when there's nice weather. Wonderful day in overcast skies but be horrid in rain.
A.I feel that if we are at speedway I should be able to buy a coke or have some Tip top icecream ! The choice of food is so limited and why does the meeting have to be long, best to can a few races and get finished earlier.
Then the feature race is not rushed 😎
M.I usually come here for work purposes as I work for a company that provides the electrical infrastructure for events such as concerts like LAB that took place this past weekend (Sat 22nd Jan 2022). This venue is always clean and always kept immaculate and staff are always friendly and easy to work with.
J.Happend to stumble on this place today. What an amazing park, clean and tidy! Excellent facilities, alot of wildlife from swans, ducks, rabbits and lots of native birds. Easy walk great for beginners or anyone in general. Would definitely visit this park again. Plenty of things to do, close to motat and the zoo.

C.Well done great set up this concert, however would be best if drinks weren't opened on the first gate in, to the organizers you knew we would be held for an extra hour at another gate having to wait before getting in to the actual show, that was sneaky sorry, need to leave them drinks closed at least for the extra wait inside, the concert grounds is fine to open the drinks and hold people back from getting best spots, we spent $80 as each bottle was $10 that was a waste of money..just saying, other than that the concert was awesome #FridayJamz, we had one of the best seats in the grounds (standing not seats, but the best)the buses afterwards could be better, more buses please, that was a long walk and wait, mean concert though thank you
S.It was the first time for me. We had a really good time with my daughter. It is a good idea to have some cash with you as the shops are not accepting eft pos. Cash out is also available on site if you forgot.

R.Been going to speedway for 50 years and now the facility is disgusting. The council must have spent a fortune on the new toilet block and it was a shambles. They had to keep shutting the womans as there was water flooding the floor all the time. I'm in a wheelchair so got there at 4.10 to find disabled spots all taken by some people with no parking permits. Then time to leave and couldn't get out of the car park at the axit as trucks and trailers blowing the road so all and all worst experience in 50 years.

j.Plenty of wildlife beautiful lake, lovely sunsets/sunrises. It a wonderful sanctuary in the middle of the city. It never feels crowded and it's always so peaceful.
T.Aucklands most iconic stadium venue for concerts! Multi tiered, heaps of space and great facilities. My favourite concert venue hands down💯
I've been here for a big day out and 2 six60 concerts and it never disappoints. Love the vibe I get from this place❤😁

d.Speedway circuit. Need cash to get in the car park and who carries cash anymore! Take something to sit on and a mask for the dust is choking most of the time. Not enough veggie food options so take your own. No alcohol either.

N.Most amazing concert venue I've ever been to, hands down! Acoustics are fantastic, facilities are great. 50,000 people, no security issues, plenty of toilets, good access. Your mileage may vary due to choice of event, but this is now my defacto choice of venue when a band is visiting multiple locations across the country.
Traveled CHCH to Auckland, will do so again. Recommended.
R.Awesome Park to take the family and kids. Now that the playground is being upgraded, I am sure it will even be better.
P.A superb expansive park around the lake and I was so excited to see crazy arrays if birds here as well as the tracks on the western side
K.The Best outdoor venue for Rock N Roll. David Bowie set the crowd attendance Record there & Bob Marley played there. Both concerts I attended. Awesome shows.

S.I was a young man of 10 years old when I first visited Western springs now I'm 63 and I'm still going I sometimes wonder the council is trying to speedway
