S.Few issues with court hire. Very frustrating. Won't be back to hire. Very expensive. Basketball kids can come in for such a little amount but I hire it for training and it costs a fortune and half the time we end up with either cycles in the way, put beside loud people or put in the valedrome when we request a stadium court. Very frustrating.
J.Clip n climb was really fun
M.Perfect place for sports training, Great place for athletes, staff are awesome there, large parking space outside.
S.Tahlia was amazing to have, she was so plesant and engaging, my daughters Glory and Jupiter could not stop singing her praises, even now some 4 hours later. All whilst it was meant to be her lunch break. Thank you, and someone give her a pay rise

C.Such a great venue that has something for everyone. Just a handful of the activities that you can do with the family: Squash courts, great and safe climbing wall, netball courts and the beautiful velodrome.

J.The stadium is a great asset to the Southland region. There are a number of fantastic function rooms available to hire. We've had held a number of seminars here and been thoroughly impressed by the stadium.

H.Great except for people taking their seats after the quarters had started. Disrespect to the players. The doors should be closed at the whistle being blown and late comers denied entry till the end of the qtr. Little kids just wandering about distract paying specators especially those in the front row. This needs addressing.
M.I am new to Invercargill and was VERY impressed with this facility. It was clean, tidy and looked well maintained. The carpark was really busy as there was a lot happening in this venue on this school holiday weekend. I went there to attend the Crafters Festival which was amazingly well attended. There was a wonderful choice of stalls and some really unique products. I bought a beautiful salmon chaibata roll with lovely fresh salad greens for my late lunch, 4 different flavors of fudge to take home and a Wheatie bag. I enjoyed browsing all the stalls and hope they all had a profitable weekend!

S.We had our Grandies at clip and climb today, we were so impressed with the young lady that was supervising the children. She interacted with the children so well, made it all so much more fun.
E.Took my kids to Clip & Climb these school holidays. The instructor, Talia was absolutely incredible with my 3 year old ( and all other kids present). She was friendly, helpful, encouraging &mu wee girl keeps asking to go back. She made the whole experience really enjoyable for the kids. Highly recommended!

N.This is a great place to visit on cold, wet, windy days. Modern and clean. The wall climbing is suitable for all ages and levels of fitness--go challenge yourself and enjoy! Relatively affordable fun.
C.It's great to experience the wonderful multicultural food from the lovely multicultural people's in our bicultural country :)

This weekend was a large and interesting Craft market and also a Brick (Lego) display
C.It will be good when they have finished the part by the gates. But we are definitely spoilt with such a beautiful place. And the staff are just the greatest.
M.An awesome facility for the south with so many events held here. One of our best assets with so many different areas, such as the main stadium, community courts, climbing area, squash courts and of course the velodrome.
A.Took the girls to clip and climb here. Great activity. Good variety of difficulties. Friendly staff and good safety procedures. 1 hour sessions with limited numbers means no waiting. Want to tire the young ones out? Bring them here!
R.Great sporting facilities. Netball, squash, basketball courts with Clip N Climb walls and apparatus. Also next door a world class cycling velodrome. Venue also hosts national touring shows when required.
B.Clip and climb is a great activity for you and the kids, highly recommend
L.Getting in and out of the main venue can be difficult because they have designed it with bottlenecks which slow down people traffic. Parking is not very well lit and does not feel safe with small children. Also not covered parking.

R.A great sporting facility in the heart of Invercargill with multiple sporting events at anyone time. Home of the Southern Steel, Southland Sharks and Cycling South in the world quality velodrome. With the support of the ILT and local councils this stadium is second to none.
S.A sports complex located in Invercargill which can accommodate several sports at a time. They have badminton area which is located near to the main stadium and basketball, volleyball and Netball along with a velodrome played in the main stadium. In basketball and netball courts they can accommodate thousands of fans any given time. They have a cricket ground as well adjoining to this stadium.
Compromised with all the necessary amenities like wash rooms, cafeteria etc. You can play badminton by reserving the courts online. For other sports I think they have to apply separately. Lots of people living in the vicinity visit and enjoy these facilities.
A.This is the main stadium for southland, it has a vast range of facilities, from the massive basketball/netball stadium to the velodrome, squash courts, climbing walls. Food and coffee available on site. Also a venue for functions and meetings as well.

J.Clip and Climb is one great indoor activities that kids have to experience. My boy was turning 5 when I took him here to experience climbing and gain confidence
N.This has to be one of the best venues in NZ for indoor sports.
Velodrome, squash, basketball, climbing wall indoor concerts, and a huge area to host all of this at the same time. Best multipurpose indoor stadium in New Zealand. Had everything that you need and more

A.Awesome venue! From social sports, concerts to big games.
s.It's a lovely stadium but when you buy your tickets on line and choose your seating you should be given those seats my son purchased tickets for me for a birthday present and knowing I don't like heights choose seating in middle row to find out last nite when we arrived we were placed in row o which is the very back row in Tims stand it was a brillant show I must say.
A.Its a place you'd love to visit if you like sports and like doing activities. It is also a popular venue for local events like food festival and crafters market.This place also has a cafeteria for a quick bite with a lot of variety as well.

F.Excellent sport venue. Not just team sports but has other activities like rock climbing wall and squash. Good clean modern facilities.
S.Stadium was probably acceptable but the staff encountered at the gate and throughout the event were far from helpful. Whoever the contractor is that supplies staff for events need to be spoken to about training of staff in public relations and people skills.
I was not spoken to in a bad way but the two people I was with were treated very badly and spoken to in a manner I would not use on a dag!!! To make it worse one of those people were elderly and when I challenged the staff member concerned they stated that old people should not go to events like this unless they can move quickly enough to get out of everyone's way. My guest was not moving slowly and is very active having run half marathons only a fortnight before.
Not impressed with the disgusting way staff ruined this event for our group.
Witnessed others getting a tough time from the same two staff as well.
Just so wrong.

s.Been to several kids birthdays here with climbing wall and party pack. Always fun, some parents love opportunity to climb too.
k.A little disappointed due to lack of boats and accessories on display but overall quite good. I would return again but only if entry fee stays the same.
