D.Went up for a trial flight ... Great fun and the view down the harbour is spectacular. The lesson plane is brand new. And the art deco hanger is stunning.
J.Fantastic place to go if you want to learn to fly or do a small aircraft experience. Awesome instructors, as well as a great club community with regular get togethers, fly-aways and barbecues.
A.Amazing would be an understatement. Where else in New Zealand or in the world can you fly an airplane for an hour for only 120 bucks! Set an appointment, choose your plane and the instructor will make you see a whole new world on a magic airplane ride.

J.Great to watch the rescue helicopter going in and out, also nice to see the light planes doing their circuits too. Nice area to walk around as well, Silver Stream is nearby.
A.They have a 'ufly' program where they teach you the basics of flying, and let you take control of the plane at cruising altitude. Great for aeroplane/flying enthusiasts to try their hands at flying. My trainer was Mr. Alan - absolutely fantastic person, funny and charming, and just the kind of person you'd like to learn from.
Their ufly program is a must do and something you'll cherish lifelong. For me this half an hour was definitely the highlight of my trip, if not my entire life!
