Absolutely stunning place to have lunch. Stunning views over looking the harbour. Food was great. Service was Very friendly service even if it was a bit slow. I really think you should consider getting a liquor license for people that are not members of the Boat Club. I would imagine you would loose a bit of money not providing this service. We would have loved to have had a glass of wine with our lunch.

What a lovely place. We hadn't been there before but had regularly been past the turnoff. The food at the boat house was very nice and so were the staff. We will be back.

This place is a gem, however we have been over a few times for lunch, but it's often closed.

Ordered a pizza $22 for average fare. Kitchen took coments on board and sent complimentary desserts. So no complaints there. But you do need to be a member to order alcohol so if you want a glass of wine with dinner maybe look elsewhere.

Four of us had a late lunch. Different selections. All served at same time..friendly service. Good atmosphere and views. Alcohol could not be served as we were not members of the club. That was no big deal. Shows they comply with liquor licensing obligations. Would return when next that way...

Nice food and staff. Just a shame you need to be a member to have a beer. In this time of hardship for all clubs you would think they would welcome all sales.

I went as part of a large group so there was a set menu of fish and chips or an option of spicy chicken salad. The fish was very fresh and with a very thin batter. The chips were a bit average but probably cooked in advance since it was a large group. The salad had very generous chunks of chicken and olives. The prices seemed very reasonable at about $14 and the restaurant was right on the waters edge. I found the post main offering of stodgy slices and cakey things a little disappointing but maybe they thought that is what older people eat. Some certainly liked it. Even Watties fruit salad would have been better. One suggestion. Five teabags in a small pot with no extra hot water is strange. The coffee looked a lot better.

A great asset to Omokoroa, we had a particularly good fresh hand made salad not the shop packet stuff so many other reastraunts use these days, thanks to the staff working under level 2, and thanks to Cousin Sandy for shouting our drinks😉
