This grocery store sells Asian products at the reasonable price when compared to the similar or the same products sold by other grocery stores (C***td**n, N*w W**ld etc.). There is a food court before the actual entrance to the grocery shop. In the middle of the food court, there is a stairway down to CityFitness' entrance. Over all, it is a decent grocery store.

Great place for groceries both local and international. Prices reasonable for location, only drawback is finding parking and business being located inside food court which makes it difficult to find

Reasonable prices for fresh fruit and veg, a lot more variety than ordinary supermarkets. Could find heaps of different Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Korean and Thai cuisine condiments and products, as well as non-food items. One thing I couldn't find was natto beans, but has a good range for the amount of space the shop has.

Reasonable variety of Asian foods, also reasonably priced! European products are more expensive than we find at Countdown, but Asian products can also be cheaper than we find at Countdown! They have a smaller variety of the popular convenience store drinks, snacks, and iced popsicles available. Also always stocked with masks, sanitizer and soaps etc. Given 3 stars because 1) there seems to be no control on the number of customers entering the store, meaning distancing is difficult. 2) Also a few tofu packs were expired by a few months when I checked last, but may have changed since then. 3) Lastly the store fridges and baskets can appear unclean, and paywave is not available, making me worried about cleanliness every time I visit, especially during the pandemic. Overall love the store though, and the young staff at the register are lovely.

A very reliable inner city supermarket in K Road. Many popular Asian foods and a large number of kitchen supplies. Recommended.

The only super market open on karangahapi rd easy access off the main rd plenty to choose from . They have most of the basic groceries at reasonable prices being a chinese supermarket shopping may be a bit of a challenge..

Great Asian supermarket. They not only have a huge variety of Asian stuff, but also good array of fruit+veg. Two things that are better than Countdown: 1 - you can get half a celery instead of being forced to take a whole huge bunch, and 2 - bigger selection of cooking utensils and electrical plugs and extensions.

Some vegetables, fruits and meat have reasonable prices in Lim Chhour. Sometimes they are not enough fresh. You can find lots of asian, specialy chineese foods and stuff.

Best for Asian food. More plant based - leafy green vegetable options compared to countdown. Much cheaper vegetables and meat. Staffs are meh. Fast counter service, but not that friendly. The checkout process is uncomfortable as they don't wait till you bag your stuff, they'd ask the next person to come in and throw their stuff on yours. So you better hurry. Also no paywave, so have to have time to enter your card, select which type of card, enter pin number and go through that ridiculous steps WHILE you supposed to bag the stuff.

A supermarket to visit for every Asian in Auckland. There's a Boy Bawang here, for all Pinoy's up there! Woohoo! 🤩

Some good food. But selection isn't the best also place is a bit run down. Good value

One good point is that you can find a variety of products here, including veges & fruits, snacks, dumplings, sauces, meat, ... but the prices of the fruits are usually higher than even Countdown. Some of them might have lower prices but still they can't compete in quality with Countdown or Pak'nsave. Another incident that made me give 3* to this store is that they don't have pay wave and I could'nt pay by my phone. So I put everything there and left empty-handed. Occasionally it has also happened that the assumedly ripe products turned out to be raw inside. This happened to me for a punnet of peaches. Overall, I purchase some of my shopping list from Lim Chhour but I prefer to buy the rest from CD or Paknsave.

Amazing shop for fresh veggie n fruits shopping. Best variety and highly affordable prices on kitchen shopping issue. Food courts offers various food ouets including halal food. Parking is big issue.

The good outweighs the bad. I know what to expect. When I go there its mostly predictable with what they have and how much it costs. I would like them to separate the ginger. I dont want to buy a whole bag. I enjoy shopping here so I'm not going to moan about customer service or the broken floor tiles. I like the small reminder of Rendells

The place needs some renovation; there is no pay-wave available; you gotta be careful with fruits as some might be rotted. Their prices are reasonable, nonetheless.

It is nice place to shop fresh Indian vegetables and fruits. You can get great deals over there. They even have food options from various asian countries. I must say the price over here is unmatchable in comparison with Indian store in Auckland cbd, even the staff members are very polite and helpful.

It's good for Asian groceries or quick shopping. Little annoying that within an hour after opening and before closing you won't be able to buy vegetables or fruit as they are still being packed. Also a bit dirty for NZ standard.

Fun little Asian market with several food options out front. We stayed at an Air BnB just down the street and got most of our groceries here and quality and price were both fantastic. Beware tho that they do not take visa or MasterCard so bring local currency and don't forget your reusable shopping bags!

Great place for Asian groceries. The place itself is a bit old an low on maintenance, but the perishables are replaced daily, and the prices are cheap. Lines are never too long. This used to be the only big place for Asian groceries around, but a new place on Queen St opened so this isn't necessarily the go to anymore.

This place is a gem for Asian ingredients and some fresh produce to go with it. Aside from the great array of imported cooking ingredients I also enjoy browsing the massive range of snacks and beverages and finding strange and wonderful new things. It's like a little tiny trip abroad on my lunch break.

Great supermarket in the central city area. Good range of vegetables, meats, drinks, sweets, rice & noodles. Variety of foods for Asian dishes. Always well stocked and clean. Can be difficult to find a product if you're unfamiliar with the selection and layout. Staff isn't always able to help as some may not speak fluent English.

For years this has been our regular local Chinese/Asian store. Trouble is, all the local Asians know of it, and they quickly buy up any yummy fresh produce, so you need to go early to get some! There's a small food court with Asian cooking in front, and those are worth looking over.

Nice asian supermarket with a good selection of cheap vegetables, spices and noodles. The store closes at 9pm but they start packing away the fresh produce around 8.30pm so get there earlier if you need to pick up your veggies!

Great place to get Asian food products. Wide variety of products from different Asian countries. I found all the things I was looking for and fresh vegs and fruits are great here. However store cleanliness can be improved. Nonetheless it's a great place to get groceries.

My favorite Asian supermarket in the city. The price is cheaper than the Asian supermarket in queen street. Good range of fruit and vegetables which seems to be quite fresh. Also massive range of grocery items from different Asian countries.

It offers wide selection of asian food and ingredients. Good for shopping vegetables and fruits. But the price for some product like rice and toiletries is higher than supermarket like Countdown and New World. The place is a bit dirty and disorganized.

A convenient inner city super market that covers the basics. Lacks some brand name products and has a limited selection. The Asian ingredients, especially the wall of ramen is the best you will get in town. Produce sometimes works out to be a bit more expensive than a major supermarket.

Everything is very cheap and as such some things like fruit and veg can be less than ideal. But for things like toilet paper and non perishables it's ideal if you live local! Edit, 2016: they're moved stuff around a bit, allot more organised now, and more space, not so cramped. Food also seems to be of better quality these days.

A fantastic range of international and local produce and products, however more than a little frustrating that they do not accept credit or use PayWave. I was fortunate that I had cash at the time, but otherwise, that discovery would have been close to $100 worth of groceries not bought because this no-credit-no-PayWave fact is not made evident to you UNTIL you have shopped, browsed, collected, and hauled your overloaded basket to the checkouts. That said, a truly wonderful array of items; very impressed by that.

Great grocery store! They have quite good selection and there's a lot (weird)asian stuff there to explore. There was a shop lifter but these market cashiers defended the stuff and the man left empty handed

An Asian supermarket supplying variety of products: fruits, meats, dry ingredients, vege, noodles ect. Most of Asian food products are found here. Need to have air conditioner to keep products fresh and need to improve preservation system for fresh products such as vegetables and fruits. Wish that the owner would care more about the cleanness.

Old place. They try to keep it clean. Watch out for the cashiers adding items to your bill that you didnt purchase and date changes in the meats. That being said..they have a variety of ethnic goods. And it is in a convenient location.

Convenient supermarket for those within the area, fruit and vegetables are priced very well. Chiller and fridge items are a standard price if not higher than the average New Zealand supermarket. Well known brands such as griffins, bluebird and coca-cola are not cheap. Great variety of interesting drinks, noodles and other asian snacks.

Excellent fruit, vegetable and groceries store. Everyday affordable Sunday market prices and large selection of fruits and vegetables. Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Indian foods and spices. Anything else you may find in a supermarket.

Lim Chhour is really good for if you want to try something new or find some unique ingredients even if you arent asian. i have actually had pretty good expereience with the staff, i havnt talked to the workers in the isles or anything but the people at the checkouts smile and wave. reasonably cheap.

It's a bit chaotic, the meat section can be a bit iffy, but it's a great place to find asian ingredients at good prices. There are a couple things that, inexplicably, they don't have, like Thai basil, but overall the selection is great.

Quite a good variety of food options in the food court though the most dominant one is the Chinese bbq stall. Lots of stalls offer special lunch deal. Quite nice as you can eat after you done shopping at the supermarket, or before.

Fantastic value for money local Asian market/store - the only small points letting it down are the lack of english descriptions on items and the small selection of brands in basic household staples (don't go here searching for fresh ground coffee for your plunger) - otherwise it's great, well lit, great layout, clean, and friendly staff - highly recommended especially for foodies

As an Asian, I love that we could find almost everything we needed to make our meals. It's now our favorite place to buy everything from meat to veg and all the seasonings needed for them.

Some food, fruit and vege are bad because of poor refrigeration and air conditioning. I have the experience of a cut piece of melon found out to be sour as it was not fridged. Another time, I bought a bottle of milk with proper sealing, expiry date 3 days remaining and taken out of a fridge. However, I took it home and found that it was rotten.

Quality 7/10 Price 8/10 Toilet 6/10 Location 5/10 There are few restaurants in Lim chhour food court. Prices are nice. Even cost to order in restaurant is cheap likewise. There are many asian foods, products and goods. There are 2 doors go enter shop, front or back. You can go to City fitness through this shop. But I recommend no late shopping in K'rd. You should finish shopping before 19:30. FYI, Lim chour is chain market.

you can take some cheap vegies in here and meat also in night time. so many groceries are also nice but the store is a bit dirty. if you want to buy some vegies in the morning, you'd better go here at 9:30. they tend to store vegies after opening time.

At first when I realized there was a Chinese supermarket tucked away inside and behind a food court along Karangahapi rd I was excited here's was something different ... the prices I found we're not much different from the rest of the supermarkets,but I also found there was a wide range of choices plenty to select from.

Large Asian grocery store with a food court outside. 2 sections. One fresh with frozen produce and the dry goods. Large selections. Prices may be higher on some fresh produce.

Asian supermarket where super close to CBD.Wide range of Asian products with reasonable price. Friuts and vegetable is quite cheap and always have discount. Just some kiwi's products such as chips, chocolate or milk is more expensive than Countdown. But hv to becareful for expired date on discount things.

It's an Asian supermarket but the place is a little confusing. Like there's a sign that says 'Liquor Store' inside but it just leads to a carpark. It looks real dank as well. But the pricing for most things is pretty good

People don't know about customer service. We know they are busy because it is only one good option in city for groceries. So, everyone go there but people are not good, they don't respect and charge extra.

Veggies and fruit are cheap but good for one or two days as are usually ripe. Asian products are relatively cheap but "western" products usually expensive and cheaper in supermarkets.

Great asian market for people looking for asian items, ingredients, condiments, etc. It's a bit confusing in where the market is inside the building but overall, its a great asian market.

Love this food court. The Thai place (Ayutthaya) is great value for money and the Korean burger place (Sneaky Snacky) is the most incredible burger you'll ever have (not the healthiest but definitely the tastiest in all of Auckland, at least in my opinion)
