This is a good shop with a great range of fruit and vegetables. They also have an amazing variety of spices. They also sell meat and dairy products, which means that you can get most things you need here for cooking.

Great place for Indian subcontinental groceries. One stop shop.... reasonable prices.. though Covid has impacted the supply chain and so there has been quite an increase in prices.... But still better than many grocery stores.

Indian groceries at very reasonable prices.. Wide variety of stuff available. But be mindful of what you choose, look for quality of the perishables items on sale. Can get a bit crowded at times and you could have to wait for a few minutes to find a parking spot, but not always..

Indian grocery shop and a popular one as it is a big store in that radius. They have tried to fit a lot of things in store hence you would find yourself in a position where turning back from snack aisle to vegetables section would be quite a task and cause traffic jam.. 😜.. most crowded in weekends.. you would find most of things there but don't expect the standard of a Countdown or New World.. you won't find high end vegan stuff or different cheese stuff but you would find all basic stuff needed for daily cooking or snacking items.. enough parking space.. some things here are more cheaper than countdown or New World for example Anchor Milk ..

This shop has next to it is Premier meats which sells all meat except pork ( Muslim establishment). Many of the items here at Lotus are reasonable but some are exorbitantly priced. So it pays to do your homework and shop properly. The staff are nice. If I have to buy many items than I do my shopping here or Patel bros on Carr Road is convenient. Why spend on fuel more and lose what you gained on the purchases.

You can find almost what you are looking for. The only issue is sometimes the products are not arranged properly and you have to keep on looking to find some items. Otherwise price is good.

It's very popular and a huge super market with good varieties of products from veggies & fruits, to various spices, cereals, grains and plenty of other endless groceries. I've been pretty satisfied with the prices too. Weekdays being the best days for a comfortable shopping as it gets over crowded on weekends. Also, if you want to have a sense of being in India, you could walk right in and you will know the rest.😊 I bet you won't walk out bare hands though!! For others who want to try cooking Indian cuisine pick your grocery from here. It's the best stuff with best price. 👍 All in all, I love shopping here and totally recommend this stores. I wish customers to be mindful following distance and management has to make sure to keep the floor clean as lots of grains on the floor and seems filthy. It's joint effort.why can't we keep it as clean as other kiwi supermarket chains. Please keep our stores clean. Fantastic Indian grocer. Huge variety of goods not found elsewhere. Fruits and vegs not the freshest but dry goods are great. Beware when parking as drivers here can be rather aggressive and customers don't look and expect you the driver not to knock them even though you are reversing and they just walk without looking.

This is a must visit place for Indian groceries. Reasonable prices and you can find almost everything Indian. Gotta have a proper look at the expiry dates on the products which are kept right beside the checkout counter. They are usually dead cheap but more often than not they are either dated products or the expiry date is very near. The staff is very helpful and the people at the checkout counters very friendly.

Cheap economical so as the quality. You can find all basic grocery requirements over here. Special and always discount on Milk and fruits and vegetables. Seasoning and rice and flour of south Asian type you can find very reasonably over here. Manufactured items is not recommended if you are looking for low prices.

You get all Indian groceries at the best price one can expect in NZ. They got everything from fresh fruits to vegetables, cooking ingredients, eatables, frozen items, pulses, Pooja items etc. The only thing looks odd is the cleanliness and the way everything is put together. It gives a feeling that they are understaffed or run under maintenance because of low margin.

Good Asian grocery shop where you can find any Indian item you cannot find anywhere else. I have been shopping there since last 2 years. But just one problem, I found on many items the price mentioned on the shelf is wrong and when you go to the billing counter you get to know that which I believe is misguiding customers or may be a selling gimmick. And it has happened not just once but many a times which cannot be excused. Just a suggestion if they could improve on that.

Always my favorite supermarket to go to. Glad to see fair prices an a massive range of spices and all the vegetables. It's also great to get a range of different products than the big brand supermarkets. The little samosa shop right by the entrance is AMAZING, and the lady that works there is very sweet. Only thing that needs changing is to keep the birds out of the bulk bin section. Definitely is a bit unhygienic.

One place you can find any necessary product from Indian subcontinent. Prices are reasonably low. The downside is it has minimum space between racks. Therefore it's very hard to move inside at busy times

It’s a Indian super shop. You get condiments in reasonable prices. You have to be careful about expiry dates here . Sometimes they offer open dry food- be noted - sometimes they open expiry items to open sell without package. Entry and exit is a mess. Drive way is risky, and parking in holidays are really pain. Driving out to Main Street is tricky way out on busy road.

I want to say a huge huge thank sonalika to the checkout oparetor at lotus supermarket . This girls has been totally amazing. The amount of pressure they are put under to supply everyone's shopping. I want to mention Sonalika by name she has helped me to find my orders. You guys really don't know how much this means. I asked the lady at the counter if the gram flour that I got was better for my skin or was the other gram flour better cos there were 2 types of gram flour and I also showed her my eczema flared up skin and she was very nice telling me that this is what is best used for the skin. Thank you so much and also a reasonable price of $4.50 so I will be a regular here buying my flour from here :)

Indian store with range of items available in cheaper price. If you didnt find some indian groceries on other stores, you should try this place. The only thing I dont like here is conjusted space. Only one trolley can pass between the shelves and if someone stops infront you also have to stop and wait for the way to be clear.

I used to like this place as u can get many things under one roof but its price range is now increased rapidly and the quality is just ok. Don't know why they replaced Pakistani masala range with cheap dessert mix. And parking is soo poor never available

Most of the times we have no alternates, or just 1 alternate for the products that we want to buy. They have just upgraded their store in the fresh vegetables and frozen section. similar upgrades are required across all aisles.

The butchery next door has also got some fine meat, and the cut to Indian cooking styles too. Refreshing also to see that they sell beef. :)

Me and my Wife went to Lotus Supermarket for Grocery shopping this evening, the atmosphere at the store was fantastic store was clean and tidy,we were enjoying our shopping until we reached the counter where we found two arrogant girls (sorry I forgot to note their names but both had heavy makeup on their face) serving the customers when we reached the counter there was no greetings from their side and also no answer for my greetings, the girl started scanning the items while chatting to other girl who was packing my items with one hand and eating something with her other hand, after paying my money I was handed my receipt in the way as if she was doing any favor on me there was no smile whatsoever in the whole process and no goodbye or thank you at the end.It was insulting for us. I would recommend people to go and shop at Lotus Supermarket as the store is at its best, but avoid going to the counter when these two girls are serving customers as they can spoil your day. Note: My ratings are for the store which is 4 Star but for customer service I would strongly give -10

It's just below average. Coz I ask to use washroom, the guy who is grocery manager told me that we don't have such facility in our store. ,then I ask him how are the staff manage. He said we go outside in the open area nearby. I highly disappointed today.

Its great coz all things indian are in this place and it is clean. When its clean more people go there and there is a higher turn over of stock. There's fruit and vegetables, tea leaves and a large variety of spices.

No two trolleys can freely access the narrow lanes. There are things which are open. And a few things which have no barcode. They surely get a lot of money to improvise the interiors.
