Very clean. We felt welcomed and not ridiculed in our old ladyness, walking in through the exit way, standing in front of the doughnuts far longer than one should, ignored all of the arrows and went in all kinds of directions, not being able to operate the self serve checkout instructions so I gave it a few directions back. Staff were super patient and kind. We had a whale of a time. Ages? 48 and 50. It's all downhill from here.

I like this store. Its not too big so won't take too long to go round. Its clean, bright and has friendly staff. I like the click and collect too. In non lockdown times they phone you to discuss substitutes. Which seems very sensible to me.

Wide aisles, clean and fresh smelling. Staff always willing to help you. Some good deals. What more could you ask for in a supermarket

All through the various lockdowns New Worls Long Bay has been an oasis of shopping calm. The staff are friendly and helpful,there have been minimal queues and few shortages.

A great local supermarket, but it is beyond me why they have decided not to stock any cullys Chilli sauces thus forcing me to browns bay countdown, it's like there must be a feud

I love shopping here! Close to my home, there is always ample underground parking, not too crowded so its relaxing, lovely music playing instore, clean and modern look, friendly helpful staff, self checkouts. Would prefer though if there were more than one person manning check outs so fewer people are waiting in line. The rest of the stations are always empty. Otherwise, can’t complain. Would definitely recommend.

Handy location with plenty of parking spaces, almost all household groceries can be sorted here. The limitation is the selection of products when compared with other New World such as Albany one.

Amazing supermarket, lots of variety, great atmosphere and superb service!

I have never been a big New World shopper because they are always the most expensive out of the supermarkets, this I have now discovered is untrue when it comes to the Long Bay store. Their prices where fantastic and in line with the cheaper supermarkets. I am so glad that my closest supermarket is now affordable!!!!. The staff are so friendly and the store is always in immaculate condition.

Great supermarket for the local town, they may not have much variety.

Love this little new world,easy to get in and out to do your shop quickly,not a huge variety of different products much anoth for a small shop and some competitive prices

Great store!! Friendly atmosphere, reasonably priced, great selection and very clean and tidy. Store owners are a lovely community oriented couple who during COVID supported many of the local elderly folk in Torbay and Long Bay. Love love love my local!! Thanks Marcus and Alexandra

As far as supermarkets go it's average at best, the shelves are consistently missing stock which seems isolated to this store as I have no trouble if I go to Browns Bay or Albany, the deli meats always look old, especially their luncheon meat, staff for the most part are friendly and the store is always clean and tidy however my advice would be drive the extra few Kms and go to Albany or Browns Bay if you're doing a full shop.

Thanks for being so organised and on to it with cleaning trolleys and sanitising. Made the shopping way less stressful during this time. Awesome work!

The layout of the luncheon on the day I visited was unsettling, why not stack it like everyone else does?

Really nice friendly staff that are by no means to shy to chat, the kind that you normally meet out of Auckland because they make time for you.Good clean store & stocks a little but of everything so love the variety. Has a very personal atmosphere about it. Gotta love that these days.

Nice store. However the bottom underground carpark when wet is very dangerous and needs to be rectified urgently. It is an accident waiting to happen. Need coarse sand spray applied or similar asap. Currently not suitable for older people. Thanks.

Great store and very friendly and helpful staff. On bit of critique - improve your range on offer, like chocolate peanuts, dental toothpicks (not interdental brushes). Think of the person shopping in your store other than this a good store.

Helpful and okay staff, have found that often there is not someone monitoring the self-check out which can prove difficult and result in long wait times :(

What a refreshing shopping experience! Friendly, local with a great vibe. Such a new and innovative layout with a great range of products. I particularly like the deli selection of healthy food boxes and the coffee-while-you-shop option. I look forward to my next visit

Price's are still a bit more than Pak n Save, especially the products you have to weigh per 100g at the Deli department

We were there only once( bought water). So it looks nice,clean and with a quite good variety of goods. Although we didn't find L&P in glass bottle.

A nice new New World. Lots of offers at the moment and the prices seem a bit cheaper than other franchises. It's not a big supermarket, but carries a decent range and choice of products for its size and doesn't feel too crammed in.

Good Parking Wide Isles But selections are limited. Do not seem to stock All PAMS products so a bit disappointing Also specials are not easy to find IMHO
