This is a secret little shop hidden away at Catherine St, Henderson. Good range of variety Korean and Japanese food grocery We've got all the ingredients we need to make Kimchi. My daughter loves this store. It has all she needs to eat and buy. She loves tteokbokki. Affordable price, friendly and helpful staffs

Wang Mart Henderson is an awesome little place tucked away at the end of Catherine Street. Immediately next door is an amazing butcher shop called Geobuk Butchery. The freshest meat ever and very very reasonably priced. Not 100% sure if the two shops are connected but they should be, they compliment each other. Back to Wang Mart this is a Korean supermarket like the one in botany. Anything Korean you will find it here from skin care and health and beauty products, to frozen seafood and lots of other frozens to all the side dishes, vegetables, snacks and sweets noodles, ramen and cooking utensils. I think you will love shopping here and next door. Give it a go Peeps they are very good places to shop. The male staff members there are very helpful. You won't be disappointed... Update: 26/02 Today I went in search of healthy and beauty products. They had so many to choose from, in fact I think the variety of stock had actually increased. Unbelievable what you can find in these shots. Anyway, all it did was confuse me and I left with nothing. Oh well till next time... Happy shopping Peeps💕

My favorite supermarket that has so many Korean goodies to discover. Highly recommend a visit if you haven't yet. Also try the cooked food from the mini cafe in the back

I love spicy Korean food 🍲 and what better place to buy good korean ingredients, but from the people that know their stuff. Friendly staff. When I say Gamsahabnida(thank you) to a Korean person I usually get a snicker like I said a yarn or something, but here at Wang Henderson I received a thank you back. Maybe it's c'oz am kiwi maori?? 😂 It's all good tho.

Bought some pork, beef, kimchi, veggies, some side dish, and sauce here for a Korean bbq lunch. It was amazing! Real good meat and kimchi and we were super full afterwards. Items in the store can be a bit overwhelming since there’s so much products to choose from, but English labels are helpful. Highly recommended! 👍

I've been going to this supermarket for Korean (and occasionally Japanese and Chinese) food. They have a wide range of snacks, condiments, drinks, kitchen gear and even some clothing and souvenir items! They sell a special kind of cucumber my husband likes, which you cannot get at Western supermarkets. There's also have a hair salon upstairs but I've never been there. I love that when I see Korean recipes, I can find the items here. Or if you can't find the exact product and brand, the staff are happy to help you seek a similar item. Just bring a description or photo of the ingredient you're looking for. The only negative is that when I've asked about products, they aren't able to answer all my questions because they don't speak English well. However general conversations are okay :)

pretty cool for 1st time. never noticed it driving past. only place that had the noodles i needed.except for the one man that kept lurking around us watching us where ever we went. uncomfortable. but i like the place will still go back there.

Visit this shop once a week. Clean, tidy well organised shop and friendly staff member.

My favorite korean supermarket! They have almost everything here! A salon, restaurant/side dish section, cookingwares, health and beauty, accountant , butchery and bread section! Everyone working here are very friendly, specially love miss lee from cordi hair ❤️

Better stuff to buy and clean environment for groceries!

Impressed that they had Italy towels, not many of the mall based importers do. This place is a good spot to come in the summer for a lower priced ice-cream, in all reality likely made from NZ milk powder. Some disappointment that my favorite shrimp fried rice seasoning wasn't in stock. The four is because when I started asking for things they didn't have, lemona and pocket sized hot packs, I was asked what I might use it for, so I felt it being considered as a possible for the market. I was sitting on a three.

Nice place,nice goods, but almost English free area,so download a Korea translate before entry, they have malt power and corn syrup inside that's amazing!

I only buy two products here and they always have stock and prices are very reasonable .... I only saw one small price increase in nearly two years 👍

This is a secret little shop hidden away in Henderson. Great place to get specialty items... heaps of imported foods.. friendly staff that will help as much as they can. Not a lot of English. There is a small restaurant/takeaways inside the shop. Parking is tight
