Nice little store. We arrived just after closing time after a long day on our bikes. The staff saw us and despite being shut they opened up to let us in. Thank you!

Small 4 square and is very busy because the stop on /stop off your NZ bus stops here and 50 passengers come raid the store. But overall we found what we needed, despite the long line (bad timing I guess :-)

Grocer with small selection, but has the things you need. Stopped in for eggs, meat, crackers, bread, and milk--which they had. It was busy when we were there, and the clerk seemed annoyed, but the transaction was otherwise painless. Effectively what you would expect from a large convenience store.

Has your essentials but not more than that. Half empty shelves for a couple of days straight in the coolers - no dips, barely any yoghurts. Would recommend to get your stuff in a different store if possible.

The charming gentleman running the show was so helpful n kind. Being a stranger to the place...(and strange anyway) He was lovely! Also had a free book trolly outside! Thanks Omarama!

Perfect store for what I needed, we are staying at sailors cutting and we forgot teatowels and a knife (rookie mistake) but to our luck this small supermarket had just what we needed and at a price that wasn't overly expensive like most rural supermarkets do, 10/10 for service and staff friendliness
