K.Went in to get just a couple of items we needed, and a Lotto ticket. Got everything I needed. Young woman on checkout was friendly and helpful. A good store. Prices okay, given the national trend of the supermarkets pushing prices up and blaming the pandemic and supply chain. Still, the staff here are not to blame for the big two grocery chains ripping
New Zealand off.
J.Small shop. Good place to go if you're looking to cook basic essentials. Not a lot of variety.
G.They have yummy cooked chicken pieces and they sell hot chips and other things,not a great beer variety 😐
N.Supermarket ok, variety of products could be improved quite a bit.
S.It's ok prices tend to be on the higher side and with some items there are not a great range
Also when stock runs out it can take quite sometime to get things back in stock

J.Ok ...so you could give this place anywhere from 1-5 stars depending on what you think a supermarket is. There are other supermarkets that are superior in every way that are a 2-3 minute drive from me. But because this place is a short walk I think of it like a dairy. Across the road you have Chch best butcher and Chch best fruit and veg. If you want to do a 'proper' grocery shop once in a while you're absolutely better off jumping in the car. But to top up a wee thing you might have forgotten it's ok. And I guess if you don't have a car it's really handy. The staff are nice, the place is clean, the range is super limited but it is my very big dairy so it gets 4 stars
