N.Wonderfully laid out shop with plenty of room in the isles. Plenty of ranges in food items so plenty of choices. Clean and tidy. Felt calm and un-hurried in this space. Good range of fresh baked goods.
K.This is my local supermarket. It always has the same friendly faces which mean they must treat their staff well. Tabitha is always helpful if I happen to find her before the item I am looking for. Keep up the good work :)

C.What you'd expect from a New World supermarket. 3 star would be New World Woolston and 5 star would be New World Moorhouse Ave. So, solid spot to do your grocery shopping.
k.Nice and easy place to park. Big place and you find lots there. Not crowded and people are friendly.
r.Really like prestons new world the staff are helpful the range of products are good but what I really like is the Buyer Hayden he ranges Will & Able eco cleaning products and for those that don't no about Will & Able they are the only 100% certified eco cleaning products in nz being plant based it is environmentally friendly, they even put the products in recycled milk bottles and it is excellent at cleaning. Wait there's still more, they also only employ kiwis with disabilities so you can support two great causes. It is more expensive than your average brand but most cleaners aren't friendly to the environment and other brands don't employ kiwis with disabilities. Go Will & Able and good job Prestons for getting behind a great cause.

S.Adequately surprised. Pak n Save have ads saying cheaper prices but basic items here pretty much the same price. Even mince around $11 for 800 odd grams. Pam's products - 10 average tomatoes $5.99 and bagged lettuce $3.69(?). Even 6 Bacon and Cheese dinner buns $3.99.
Pleasant people there too
Standout however was the local pharmacy having a Post Shop . Saving time ( and money) all round

보.Love this shop! Friendly staff, lots of choices for meal to go, great parking, and best of all, the pineapple cutting machine! It's brilliant!
Just be aware that some items are placed differently from other New World. Ex. Soymilk is located on the opposite side of the fizzy drinks.

D.A great place to find products you can't find elsewhere. Good products and great customer service. Parking is good for disabled parks and normal ones. Butchery has great products and so does the bakery.
J.This is not a question, but a statement. I wish I lived closer to your shop, cos it would be my "frequent" shop place. All the staff, as in ALL the staff, are immaculate in their uniforms. They are always sooo polite and ready to help in any way they can, they are all just so pleasant and a pleasure to approach with an enquiry.
The shelves are always extremely well stocked. The beer chiller is always always well stocked as well. as are the Deli selections.
Congratulations people of Preston New World, you run rings around many.
C.Not as large on the inside as it looks. Lovely fruit and vegetable section. Product ranges feel smaller than its larger counterparts. But they do have a pineapple coring/slicing machine! I love pineapple. Would have been a 4-star review except for the pineapple machine!
K.New World Supermarket Prestons Road. Not our usual New World, but great to see those New World standards and much the same everywhere, well stocked supermarket very clean friendly helpful staff, and has everything I need. excellent car parking.
J.Handy good NW in Prestons..Good Bakery. Good Deli counter. Good wine and beer selection. But not the same range of international food as NW on Memorial Ave or Moorhouse.

D.Doesn't matter whether I travel from the North Island to the Mainland, the consistency of presentation and variety of offerings is to be commended. Able to buy anything from NW Preston's Rd that I would in NW Regent (Whangarei) and picked up an excellent red (Taylor's Clare Valley Merlot) to go with the evening fettuccine for dinner.

W.Lovely new store with some great-looking displays, especially fruit and veg section, which is a "visual symphony". Full marks and possibly a pay rise for the very helpful young staff member in this section this afternoon! Only disappointment is the very limited selection of coffee beans. I need to go to the Stanmore Road New World to buy the coffee.
G.Only place I could find Frys vegetarian brand of sausages, chicken strips and pies. They are the best quality brand, and no other supermarket has them. I live their international isle too. Beautifully laid out and attractive.

K.I highly recommend the bakery. Spicey Hot cross buns delicious good price just eating one for afternoon tea with a cupa. Yesterday bought sandwiches, coffee and cake for two under twenty dollars at that small cafe at New World. Went to a local park and we had a picnic. Friendly service as always.

C.Wow! Could this be the friendliest, cleanest, best new supermarket in Christchurch? The simple answer is yes! My wife, myself, and our two preschoolers started shopping here about three weeks ago and we reckon it's setting a new standard. When we first decided to give this one a go we walked through the doors into the fruit and vegetable section and were amazed at how much care and effort had gone into laying out all the produce (my first thought was "geez this is gonna be expensive"). And then to find that aisle after aisle seemed to be carried through to that high standard at the entrance, was both refreshing and mind blowing.
The staff are all friendly and helpful, and include our little ones in our interactions with them. Then to get to the checkout and the cost worked out lower than our average spend at Pak n Save (with the red club card discount) and flybuys points earned, we felt as though we'd found supermarket heaven!
As of writing this review - we are stoked! I recommend anyone who is dissatisfied with the usual low standard of service and products, to give this one a go - it's worth a try and I'm sure you'll have a great experience!
