Very organise local countdown. Fresh mussels but scoop is a bit too large to use maybe tong is better. Mum and me love the Apple Turnover from the bakery ❤ must try if you can. Well stock, great option for clicking collect customer: I placed my clicking collect order midnight from Auckland on the Sunday , arrived next day Monday afternoon pick up, order are all correct. Thank you team.

In level 4 New Zealand lock down, this is still the best place to shop. Amazing essential workers who serve so diligently and we are grateful to have them.

This is a great supermarket and the staff are always very helpful.
They seem to run out of stock less than the South Dunedin branch and always substitute items from your order for ones of better quality if out of stock, and occasionally put in free samples for you to try.
In the past, they have also given me a ring when things like my ice cream is out of stock, to check which flavour substitute I would prefer rather than just picking one at random.

Great supermarket, and a great range of products with online being a bonus; with most team members being friendly; but there is this extremely rude worker who I believe her name is JENNIE/DEBBIE (can’t remember) who is not only rude, cold and obnoxious, but yells at customers like they are kids. I get that working in a supermarket can be hard at time; but I’m no abusive customer at all; even when she’s rude to me/other customers, I will remain calm and respectful. If you dont want a rude worker serving you, I suggest delivery; or going in the evening where friendlier people serve you . Other than that employee, it’s my preferred grocery store.

Today was one a positive experiences. I have a mask exemption for C- PTSD, respiratory complication and I am partial hearing and wear glasses.
Unfortunately,I was witness when the woman Nora Bishop was abused and stalked around the store by staff and have kept visits minimal since. Then more recently since reading the article on stuff that DID NOT TRUELY depict the turn of events of that day has made me too scared to enter the facility. I had stopped using Countdowns for this very fact as it was only in CD had I seen such bullying. Today I needed to, it took us 15 minutes of an anxiety attack trying to practice wearing the mask in the vehicle prior. It took an additional 20 minutes to leave the vehicle and then another 15 to approach and ask if an electronic exemption was acceptable. Thankfully your Maori gentleman security guard made it's very clear my rights, that it was truly my right to be there and he made me feel extremely better about my masklessness. The staff thou staring did not say anything as the security advise should be the case. The staring was from all not just staff (understandably) but unfortunately set an agrophobic episode off for me. Forcing me to freeze in the frozen food isle. After a pharmacist had seen my state she assist me to get access to my script which I was really in need of. In due time I was able to leave the store not with all the items but some for sure. I often only write feedback if it's super bad or fantastically awesome. Today it was the latter. Thank you team I really appreciated your respect and space

Large, well lit, and laid out with a pharmacy right in the middle so nothing to knock. Good sized wine and beer aisles too and wide aisles overall. Self checkout and regular tellers available as expected.

Store was clean and well stocked. Loved the selection of cheeses. Staff we interacted with were very friendly.
