R.Good large supermarket, well stocked and good competitive prices. Staff were friendly and helpful, they new were items were when asked and were great showing exactly where it was as well, not my regular supermarket so had to ask a few times and had a great response everytime.
K.Worked out pretty well, fantastic hīkoi around the shopping center. The staff was gr8 assisting me with the Bananas & Lemon & Lime flavored water. A gr8 tremendous thanks 2 their staff.👍💖

L.I went in for several different items as I have a project I'm doing.
I asked for help from several different staff who were all helpful until I needed plywood.
The short man, appeared to be Indian or similar became obtuse and difficult to get what I wanted. He said that I should bring my husband in and let him sort it out.
I told him that hubby wasn't around until Sunday, and he continued to treat me like an imbecle until I called my male friend over who was taking the ply home for me.
Seeing that I had male support, he suddenly understood what I needed.
My friend commented that him and his friend avoid him.

P.A nice place to shop easy to find. Lots of parking. Lotto. As a rule most staff are lovely but some can be quite rude. A great range of food. Wheel chair access. Not sure if there is toilets? Well worth the visit.
b.A very good range of products. Great deli and fruit sections. Ideal place if you are visiting town and want something fresh easy and tasty for dinner or lunch. Of course its excellent for the weekly shopping. Fuel on site as well.
A.Hope this year the stock relocations will be minimal.
R.Good variety of food, checkouts have very little space to move and staff aren't the friendliest and always seem like they aren't very work focused.

F.Entrance through carpark is spacious and not over crowded.
Clean and organized inside shopping area. Comfortable walking spaces down each isle and not over crowded. Food selection in deli/bakery is good.
Customer service is friendly.

M.Fruit of poor standard. Oranges tasteless. Nectereens past best. Prices of all fruit and veggies too high except corn was 50cents good. Layout good, clean and helpful staff most smiling.

J.Well stocked with friendly staff. If you cant find what your looking for the staff are more than happy to help or they will find someone from that particular department. Hawera still has a small enough population that you can get personal service here........ and...... comparitvely its better priced than the New Plymouth pak n save. Not sure how this us possible? Well done Hawera Pak n Save.

My one and only supermarket oxo💖
R.I came to this store at 8 pm yesterday 24 1 19 and found the entrance door nearest to the disabled park where i normally leave my car closed and barricaded off. This has happened in the past but at an earlier time of 5 pm. I asked a staff member why the door was closed and was told that it was for warmth. [ on a hot summer evening!] . I than asked a security guard and he said that it was for security reasons. I think that both doors should remain open during the shop opening hours, and this closing of one door inconvenience`s the shoppers, especially ones like myself who have difficulty in walking. I have been a regular customer of Pak` n Save in Hawera since this store opened many years ago, and it is in more recent times that this practice has been occurring.
H.Nice friendly staff, just wasn't able to get chicken hearts and kidneys that my shih tzu love me cooking up for them from time to time but otherwise great
D.Great parking, loads of trolleys. Staff were responsive to opening up extra lanes when things suddenly got busy.
B.Cute little (American standards) grocery. If you’re in a camper van be sure to pick up garlic butter to make all your meals amazing!

H.I do live Middle way from whanganui to Hawera so normally I go shopping in Whanganui as Hawera normally dont have many things that I like to buy
j.Good wide isles and easy to find what you are looking for, with well placed signs at the ends of the isles. The staff are friendly and helpful and the store is always clean and tidy
