Good staff, they took the COVID rules quite full on and look at you sideways when you buy booze but it’s not a bad place to get your weekly groceries.

Big spacious supermarket, well stocked, fairly rational in layout and friendly staff.

Was on holiday when visiting here. Staff weren't that friendly compared to Nelson or Christchurch.

Small store, but good looking produce. Took Abit to find different valentine day products, to find them on the very bottom shelf.. could be better at eye level.

Great variety clean store with great service

The staff here are always lovely, I've always felt welcome. Food selection is good, and I've found the price is cheaper than New World for my weekly shopping. Sometimes the produce isn't quite as fresh.

Not bad, smallish but had everything I needed. One thing that is annoying is there are no trolleys that have 2 child seats... really odd

Guys are doing a great job under covid restrictions. Staff are always happy and helpful

This is my main supermarket I come to. I love how most of the staff are always smiling and very friendly compared to New World. I only go there to get a few items that my local Countdown no longer stock. I'm a very loyal customer 🙂🙂

One of my favorites in motueka. The staff are helpful and friendly. Good fresh display of vegetable produce etc. The butchery offers a wide variety of fresh cuts. The staff are helpful and will cut meat to your requirements. Something that isn't always available in supermarkets. Easy to locate what you need. The bakery and deli offers a variety of well presented treats. Friendly atmosphere all round

Always love to go to countdown eqch week. Unfortunately it is annoying to self service with meet and sometimes I have a hole in the packet of my meet. Plenty of friendly staff eager to help and make the shopping experience quick and easy... Good deals and prices and I love the savings I get with the club card fuel card thing.

I visit Countdown at least daily. Great people great service. However the cooked chickens are dry and terrible. The deli section is also badly managed, I have personally seen cold cut meats dry and crusted on top. The butchery section is of high quality and value. Mince and sausages in particular. No offense intended. Just honest feedback. I have to go to New World for my Produce and Deli needs presently.

Easy parking, good prices

I recommend this red wine purchased in countdown. It has body, taste good, nice aroma . Not many wines can beat this one. I like buying in countdown because has many options. Thanks countdown for making our life easier

What can you say - it's a grocery store. One of two in town. You either shop at Safeway or Countdown... And you know what they are like.

Stopped in to Countdown for some basics today. They had everything we wanted. About half of it was on special so that was excellent. Check out was super quick and the staff helping were very friendly.

Great store with everything you will ever need. Not too busy when i was there so it was a pleasant shop. Staff were unobtrusive but helpful when info requested. A very civil experience.

Vast range of goods (but smaller than in New World). Fresh vegetables and fruit. Pretty good selection of fresh bread and pastry. 🅿️ ♿️

Lovely clean supermarket and we'll stocked for a small town. The size of their date scones were huge! The date scones were very good and filling, they made a lovely picnic meal.

Let down only by its small carpark. Staff very friendly and good range of products.

It's a good supermarker. You have almost everything you might need. Fruit, meat, bread etc. Best prices in motueka, sometimes New work has a better deals but for the most part the countdown wins, in my opinion. Easy access, I recommend to go out through the little street.

It's a countdown supermarket (Woolworths in drag?). It's clean and tidy and well presented and well stocked but at the end of the day it's just another countdown.
