The staff here are always lovely, I've always felt welcome. Food selection is good, and I've found the price is cheaper than New World for my weekly shopping. Sometimes the produce isn't quite as fresh.

This is my main supermarket I come to. I love how most of the staff are always smiling and very friendly compared to New World. I only go there to get a few items that my local Countdown no longer stock. I'm a very loyal customer 🙂🙂

One of my favorites in motueka. The staff are helpful and friendly. Good fresh display of vegetable produce etc. The butchery offers a wide variety of fresh cuts. The staff are helpful and will cut meat to your requirements. Something that isn't always available in supermarkets. Easy to locate what you need. The bakery and deli offers a variety of well presented treats. Friendly atmosphere all round

Always love to go to countdown eqch week. Unfortunately it is annoying to self service with meet and sometimes I have a hole in the packet of my meet. Plenty of friendly staff eager to help and make the shopping experience quick and easy... Good deals and prices and I love the savings I get with the club card fuel card thing.

I visit Countdown at least daily. Great people great service. However the cooked chickens are dry and terrible. The deli section is also badly managed, I have personally seen cold cut meats dry and crusted on top. The butchery section is of high quality and value. Mince and sausages in particular. No offense intended. Just honest feedback. I have to go to New World for my Produce and Deli needs presently.

It's a good supermarker. You have almost everything you might need. Fruit, meat, bread etc. Best prices in motueka, sometimes New work has a better deals but for the most part the countdown wins, in my opinion. Easy access, I recommend to go out through the little street.
