I have only tried out the café here in recent weeks; but I think it's a great concept. Tables well spaced for trolley access, (but also good for these COVID times!). Great coffee, food AND prices!

Large typical Pak n Save, great range of staple foods, specialty bakery in house. Covered basement parking. Bonus amusement for your kids is to load them into the trolley and ride them down the ramp into the car park!

Big wide aisles. It has its good points and bad. Some lines are a bit expensive but some good meat deals at the moment. You would be wise to wait for the itens to come on special. Masterton pak n save needs to visit and see the unclutted aisles.

I love shopping at PNS. We don't have a store in Kerikeri so I lap it up when we're out of town visiting! Fantastic for bulk buying canned or packaged food for the pantry. Cheaper for meat and veges, typical large open barn style isles and stores, self packaging. Can be busy.

I was in my little Isuzu campervan. Google took me to the southern entrance, but it only goes to the underground car park, with a heigh clearance of just 2.2m. This is plenty high enough for a normal car or people mover, but probably not for a decent sized van, and certainly not my little camper, which stands at 2.5m. So if you have a vehicle a little taller than normal, please enter via the northern entrance. Great prices and a lovely farewell from the self-service checkout lady.

You can go in, find what ya need easily, and nine times out of ten you go through a check out without much waiting, pre-packed veggies i.e. spinach, kale not that great, and there ain't much that you can buy under $5 now - that is good for you to eat, apart from processed foods, even at PaknSave, quite sad really!!!

Love that ALL the big trollies have double child seats. Pretty easy to find way around the store. Heaps of car parks, and underground parking when uts raining. Prices are great for our little family

Wow. Was not too keen to go out on the second day of level 4, not through fear of the virus, to be fair, but for the queues and the potential idiots breaking rules etc. But NO problems at all! Everyone wearing a mask, (staff and customers) keeping their distance, and most importantly, no queuing outside or inside. And no heavy security presence either! And friendly staff as always 😊Well done, PaknSave New Plymouth. I'm a regular customer but wouldn't go anywhere else, even for a quick carton of milk, apart from you guys at level 3 or 4😊

A great PaknSave! Huge wide aisles - like REALLY wide. Quite a good food selection and it seemed like today most of our usual selections were on special! And the ultimate finish to the shopping trip - no queue at the checkout - Yay!!

Layout has changed significantly. Be aware if you're in a hurry. Produce is competitively priced. Checkout staff are always cheerful and pleasant.

Some products are super cheap! But I can't do a full shop there as they are always outta stock on at least a couple things I need a week and they don't really sell anything for eczema babies for example they only have small cheap packs of water wipes which are hardly in stock and they dont really have products like soaps or bubble baths for very sensitive skin.

I find shopping at Pak n Save cheaper than their competitors across many lines. I like the underground parking in wet weather. The staff are always cheerful and friendly. A bonus is the Sticky Cafe affordable cabinet food and really great Ozone coffee.

Service at the deli is always a delightful experience,nice friendly team. I shop at this store on a regular basis and at times I have issues with pricing. An item does not always scan through on the promotional price that is advertised for. For this reason I retain my till slip and review when possible. The errors are always rectified once they are pointed out. Apart from the above, this is a good store. I especially like to recommend their chocolate cake. It is one of the best that I have tried thus far.😊🍰

Nice large Pak n Save store. Very easily accessible from anywhere in the city. Ample parking is there on the basement level. Very handy location in the middle of the city. The aisles are widest I have seen till now in a number of supermarkets. The best part is even on a busy day, it looks deserted compared to Auckland standards, which is a huge breather. Well recommended.

Love this supermarket apart from the lack of keto options, really enjoyed the free coffee from the cafe afterwards as well. By far the best place for a good sized grocery shop, far better than paying 150%prices at the local four squares dairies.

The lady at the checkout counter was rude and unprofessional, there's no greetings, and she mocked us as if we're foreigners, then refused to respond when we asked for some bags. Well overall it's a good experience, but customer service needs to improve.

A clean and low cost super market with massive Isles and large trolleys. They have plenty of self service checkouts to ensure your small or self scan shopping can go through really quick. They really keep on top of their products on special, so mostly you do not need an attendant as much as a certain Australian supermarket chain.

Set between two one way multi lane main roads. It's OK to access if you know how. Well laid out, large wine section towards the checkout end of the journey. Bakery pretty ordinary and very expensive. Prices otherwise the usual - some up, some down.

I love Pak'nSave everything is so much cheaper than anyone else. It has outstanding customer service and the staff are friendly with a great sense of humour and always go the extra mile. The underground parking is a bonus when its raining.

Christmas grocery shopping was a breeze at Pak n Save due to so many checkout aisles being open for customers to get served quicker. Due to the heat, it was also great for the frozens and other perishable items to stay cool. I also appreciate that the shopping aisles are expansive and the location of stock doesn't get drastically moved around too often.

I only do my big family shopping here NPL, fonce a month the first Saturday, after the 15th, I do love the lay out, I also do pop in at least twice a week for top ups I can't remember the normal counter staff members names. But I always look out for her. I did a review a while ago with that staff members name,. Now If she is not on. I look for a dude.and am happy to wait for either. But the meat department needs to have the two packed meat loafs, always available.i loved the old type..now the consistency is very poor. It is Not mixed correctly. I seem now to get more solid mincemeat clumps instead of what it once was. I think the recipe has changed too. It was always great, I have ever asked butchery staff if there is none are out to see when they could be ready, I can and do go back every time I ask to collect them if none out.

I always shop at Pak'nSAVE, but I freely admit that I do get frustrated, ( sometimes very annoyed, actually), when a product I particularly like, and therefore tend to buy every week when I shop there, has, for some mysterious reason, been discontinued. This was especially so when they stopped buying in some especially nice freezable ice-sticks, containing about 20 in each bag of about 6 different flavours. The brand was something like "Scooba Dooba" or something similar. It was a long time ago and my memory sucks badly, but these things were so good I used to buy 3 or more packs of twenty a week and guts them all. VERY upset when they just stopped!! Have never seen them again since, and this was back in the early 2000s.
