L.Handy to have a supermarket at this end of Porirua but prices are probably a little higher than elsewhere and the range is somewhat limited. Very convenient for topping up what you need but we tend to go further if we need to do a 'full' shop. Never had an issue with the staff.

r.Great selection of products and really like the layout. Some really nice boutique products in the meat and alternative yoghurts. Great beer selection. I enjoy browsing the beer shelves and looking for new things to try.

Good local supermarket supplying almost all products. Price is a bit expensive than other shops in Porirua but handy to have near by. Delivery service and online purchase and pick up service. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Some local products as well.
W.A but more pricey than bigger supermarkets in Porirua, buts its closer and saves petrol, so saving the Planet!

Also, why not check out their other products like online shopping, alcohol section and delicious meals made from the bakery. This is the shop for everyone

O.I am surprised this New World has so many 5 star reviews. I hope they are not using the fake review services. Usually, it would fair to say 3 stars.
My experience today actually deserves minus 5 from the till staff Lynette (older woman). I was waiting my turn. She abruptly asked me whether I have the club card. I said Yes. She more like demanded to use my club card. No explanation. No smile. Just demanding tone. Very entitled. I was very puzzled. While I was thinking "what is this about?", she then noticed I didn't want and processed the other customer before me.
I was curious why. So, I asked her "Wouldn't it (point) be going to my card then?" She said it was because the customer before me didn't have her card with her and she wanted to check whether she gets any club card discount. She said as if it was such a good thing for me to have the other customer's points on my card. As if I missed out something good opportunity. I don't think it was the customer's idea to borrow my club card. The customer said it's okay and winked at me. At least, she was a bit apologetic with her attitude. But, the staff was still so rude. I told her that if you explained it to me, I might have. But because she was so rude and I also thought it was not safe thing to do such a thing, I told her I didn't want to have someone else's points. Then, instead of apologising to me, she said "I won't ask you but I'll ask other people next time."
The review for today's should be minus 5.
M.Just a usual New World outlet however I visited it to grap a fresh coffee cuppa which is missing there.
L.Relatively pricey but it has the essentials.

H.This is a typical mid-small sized New World found on SH1 in Mana. There are not many checkouts, but the supermarket plenty of shelves of goods, so wuite a good rsnge and selection. The fresh produce (fruit and veg) looked good. There are about three self-serve checkouts. Staff seemed friendly. The pricess for the goods are typical of New World (i.e. not too bad).
L.The self serve checkout was frustrating, and I felt the staff member at this checkout was not particularly positive when I needed assistance. However the range of goods and layout was great for a smaller store.

n.Extensive selection of everything! Bought some Hazelnut Moccona coffee that I haven't been able to buy anywhere else for years!

D.Is conveniently located on Mana Esplanade if you are heading North on the Coast road out of Wellington or live in the local area around Plimmerton, Cambourne, Pukerua Bay and Paramata/Mana. Not the cheapest of New Worlds or the best stocked, but it's your nearest choice of supermarket. The next closest would be Countdown in Aotea for a greater variety of product choice. Otherwise Porirua supermarkets are the most competitive with PaknSave, Countdown and New World & Mr Green for veges/fruit produce (Mega centre) by Noel Leeming.
r.This is a nice New World. The selection is a bit less than some other stores in the region but there are quality choices
