Convenient neighborhood store. Would be nice if the range of goods is wider, but of course there is space limitation.

Things have improved here in the last year with staff a lot more friendly but as with all Countdown shops it's very hard to get help in the shop as hardly ever see staff anywhere but the checkout! I do not shop here for our main grocery shop as the meat is too expensive and not the best quality unfortunately! Overall great to have the convenience of a supermarket in town even if things could be improved.

Rather scrambled placement of goods. Not too sure where to find things. All staff, bar one, very friendly and helpful. One lady (mid 40's) when asked where I could find Fly Spray and Friskies Cat Food, barked out that they were 'Out of Stock'. Then turned her back on me?? Maybe the Manager?? Each time I've struck her, she is abrupt and rude. I worked in retail for over 20 years and even if the question was a pain in the behind, you always apologise with a smile and say you are sorry or give a reason why. This lady needs more training or a new job. :( Just moved here and was impressed by the friendly people until I met her. Went to the 4Square and got cat food and fly spray. Will go there again. :(

Most checkout staff are lovely and helpful time shop is clean and tidy. Produce is hit and miss at times but who ever was on cooking roast chickens today obviously was not in the mood for work chickens were literally thrown in the bag and dried up nearly not appealing at all

Shopped here for the duration of level 4 lockdown and although the staff were friendly the variety of products was poor especially with regard to keto food.

One of many Countdown branches located around New Zealand. This branch is quite hidden to the naked eye as it's situated behind the main street. There is sufficient parking, the store is smaller than most branches but holds most stock that you would be looking for. Would recommend.

Went in there today and from my last visit I have to say I like the changes. It looks much different. Staff were much better at checkout too all except one who made me wait, despite me being first in line and called another guy from another line to her checkout and served him first. Like what the??? The very least she could have done was tell me what she was doing and why...then it wouldn't have come off as rude and offensive not to mention bad customer service. FYI - the star ratings I give are based on how I feel by the time I leave a place, and this place consistently leaves me feeling ticked off. Mainly because of check out staff. Not all...there are some really good ones there.

It's a nice place to shop but why in the hell do they advertise on tv cool you bins that keep food cool up to 4HRS and kids toys. You go there to buy these things and not there also morrinsville doesn't have them waste of my money traveling there. Passed off !

While the range of products may not be as dynamic, or adventurous, as some of the larger, metropolitan branches, the staff have always been wonderfully helpful. I personally prefer to shop here, rather than the two other local options, or NW on Morrinsville.

For a small supermarket the range is adequate. Parking is easy and shop is clean. Check out staff very friendly but not a lot of other staff to help when you need it.

Very seldom does this store have the specials they advertise. The beef is like chewing in a gumboot, its old boner cow that freezing works carnt sell as prime to the USA etc but sell it to us as prime beef. Most ove the veg department is seconds from aussie. People have to keep shopping there as it is the only place to do so.
