Great prices, good stock level, easy access to a range of goods. Not too busy Friday pm. Self- service a bonus! Pity I live so far away or this would be my #1 grocery/fresh produce etc supermarket.

An extremely popular main grocery of fresh everything is provided here, a must stop venue to collect your everything's before heading up the Thames Coast. Parking is big with congestion at the entrance and exits. The carpark provides special parks for motor homes, trailers and those hauling a boat. Staff are experienced, mature and familiar with their area. Store is clean, spacious and has no faults. No mandatory covid scanning upon entrances. Masks worn at all times.

Has everything you need. Great location to do last minute shop before hotting the amazing Coromandel peninsular.

Like the opening or fast access by the fresh veggie area, instead of being herded around the isle. Reasonably priced.

Disappointed today with my visit. Lots of out of stocks could be covid related. Produce was very good fresh and a wow range for winter time. Checkouts quick and friendly

Great shop, clean and tidy, heaps of fresh deli meats, fresh veges, fresh meats and seafood. There is something for everyone, great staff always willing to help. Heaps of parking and also not far from KFC and McDonald's lol

Where else is there for weekly shoping? We can pretty much find everything we require in store. Vegan and vegetarian options has increased over last few years. Today stock has improved after empty spaces a week ago.

Small because it is busy, be aware they block walkways when restocking. Hazardous for older ones.

One of the best P&S's we've been to. Helpfull staff.

Awesum...director of first impressions at the door so welcoming with a smile..greeting and hand towels. Store reasonably stocked with everything and not crowded...what more could you want.

Helpful staff in the shop (we are not local so had to ask for guidance to find stuff). The guy overseeing the parking was concerned our caravan plugs were loose (we had disconnected while in the shop to avoid draining the car battery) and also told us there was designated parking for campers, buses and caravans, which we hadn’t seen, but great initiative and we will certainly call there again. Well done Team Pak’nSave Thames.

Typical supermarket. Rationing during lockdown. Got everything I needed. Down and home in 40 minutes so pretty happy.

Pak'n'save good as always, smaller than the Auckland pac n save I visit and more expensive. But have good local produce from Thames Valley bacon

It is a busy supermarket but I got all my supplies fulfilled there.

It was my first time to go there but i like the store very .much.the people there are accomodating.

i normally shop at new world..i went into pacnsave as i was passing through..i was so amazed in how much the prices were so much cheaper..its worth making the trip to pacnsave to do my wkly shop..plus there is so much more stock to choose from..its a fantastic family store for ppl on a budget

The diversity and selection of foods available is quite limited, the produce is standard again, limited. The check out system is a bit better than before but the biggest pet peeve is there are never any boxes to put your food into. Prices are too high. Some competition in the township would be very welcome.

Hi 😁 I would have given them 5 stars but it just seems like the chillers in front of the checkouts was slowing up the flow to get to the checkout. But I do love the changes. It has been a while since I last shopped in Thames. Lovely friendly girl at checkout. Thanks Larissa

I got to this store every single day I love all the staff but one, there's an older Indian lady who over looks the self service checkouts and everytime me and my family are there she will check over anyone's shoulder whos a different colour or is wearing I guess you call them "hory" clothes like your stealing I don't think the staff should be allowed to do that whole your trying to pay and things!!!

Pak N Save is our home supermarket. Have tried others but our super is the best. The staff are lovely and it is always clean and tidy.

I worked here so don't want to critique too harsh. Most staff here are lovely and will go above and beyond for you if you ask for assistance. There are sometimes issues with not having full facings on the shelves, this should be given leniency at this time going through a revamp, but there is also a little more to it where extra work could be put in.

Very clean and tidy and has a wide variety of items to purchase as far as supermarkets go. Pak n Save is our main shopping supermarket with fair prices and excellent customer service.

I loved going for a drive to Thames goldfields I went to go and do the shopping at paknsave goldfields in Thames

A small pack and save but set out very well with lots of food varieties and specials. We we're staying in Thames for an event and was able to get really yummy roast meals for dinner that were made in store. I would definitely buy them again and visit this store.

Lack of competition in the area finds they are always “out of stock” or simply there is nothing on the shelf at all of certain popular products. While staff are nice it gets frustrating to consistently be let down by the lack of product range/stock. This has been a consistent long term problem.

Convenient for trip in Coromandel! Good to find some local foods and low price items. Shop assistant was not so friendly but a customer behind me made my experience great, had nice chat.

It's a paknsave. Pretty good food selections, never too busy, but the parking is always difficult and you need to have the cornering precision of Lewis hamilton when moving around

This is the only supermarket in Thames. It has good pricing, but limited range of brands. Getting a makeover this winter which should improve and update its looks. Somehow they often don't have enough checkouts open so avoid peak times unless you want to be 5 deep at each checkout.

This us my home supermarket. Don't want to think anything but positive thoughts. We gave no choice, but it meets our needs and j hang out here more than anywhere else but home! Management send to want to provide good service.

I find the service of the cash out people to be out standing. Almost without exception they are cheerful , patient and helpful. On older person can enjoy a little friendly chat. Only complaint is that you keep on shifting things around " WHERE are the spices now?" I ask myself.

Passing through and called in to pick up a few bits. No pork roast, shelf were empty. No handwash. I believe they were renovating but still need the missing items on the shelf. Checkout operator was very friendly.

I think the place needs some competition, then might make them pick up there act..I use the place cause there's no where else to go to in Thames 🤷

It's the only supermarket in thames. It has a variety of grocery items and fresh fruit and vegetables. Gets very busy during the christmas period. Needs shop n go.

Pak'nSave shops are not my favourite grocery shops. The Thames branch always has what us on my list but unfortunately I like a bit more service and smaller stores. I'm a New World regular shopper so a bit unfair for me to comment too much. Thames only has one supermarket and it seems very popular.

Just started using their click and collect, amazing service! Reliable and friendly. Shop has been recently refitted and looks great :)

Once the movements are finished it should be great, but at the moment it is utter chaos. Try and use the disabled parking, cars in them with NO disability card. We now drive to Paeroa to shop.

Our only supermarket choice. They seem to have streamlined and reduced their range of products. Good mainstream but hopeless for anything outside the usual. Their loss, we just buy those things when out of town. I do like the section where they've grouped together international product and organic/gluten free etc.

Value for money. In these hard times.

Sometimes need more checkouts open

Call in here to buy provisions on a regular basis when heading up the peninsula. Staff are friendly and the selection is pretty good. I think everyone in Thames catches there own seafood because not a great range here.

Big shop and a large selection of everything. I was impressed by the selection of beers in the fridge. Can get very busy, but staff are nice and happy to help you with anything.

This is a Good supermarket! That's not an easy thing to say about a supermarket. I particularly like that many tills are open so the queues are not long. They are better staffed than the average Auckland supermarket (pack'n'save or not). Why should that be? Although I don't live in Thames, I visit family there 4 or 5 times a year. And through pure coincidence on nearly all my visits to your business I end up with the same check-out person and every time she's friendly, helpful, pleasant.... can't be easy all shift, every shift. (Blonde, short curlyish hair, glasses). Well done - keep up the good work! Owners and managers - it's so hard to find good staff! You've done well. (And, no, I don't know anyone who works there.

Great place to stock up for a weekend away. There are two donation boxes after the checkout for spca and another for animal rescue Thames. I always buy a can of cat food or dog food for each.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. Stock is terrible. If there is a time to use the store when shelves are properly stocked - I haven't found it.

have you ever wanted to feel like a small mouse trapped in supermarket? well this how I felt, wandering the streets of pak n save in thames. the aisles are wide, the shelves are stacked high, and the dishwashing liquid was about $4 but at least it was biodegradable. you really feel the gruen transfer in this store; this ended up being a 20 minute walk but if you have done it before, you could probably finish it in 10 or 15 minutes. pretty good scenery, but make sure you bring some money if you want to buy any of the items they try and sell you

Good choice of food selection, bit hard at times to find what your after sometimes, I see alot of people asking were things are ,quick service at checkout, but pretty good over all .

Has most things you need. As well as supplying boxes, newspaper for wrapping frozen goods would be helpful as this places services towns which can be 1 to 2 hours away.

Staff are wonderful, very helpful and friendly. Shelves mostly full didn't have salted caramel trumpets which was disappointing

It's tough going at the moment due to renovations with items being moved around and long slow queues at the checkouts. Staff are still friendly though and the produce good so it's worth perservering

handy because was in level 2 but out of some stock and isles were alittle narrow did have some social distances in place adequate for level 2

Staff is pleasant and for the most part things are easy to find

The only decent large supermarket in Thames. However there are other little niche markets in Thames that have specific tastes.

It was a bit caotic trying to find stuff was hard and negotiating the ailes with the electric trolley was hard it will be nice when everything is finished staff helpful finding things for you

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Thames Pak n Save always have well stocked shelves that tidy and organized and staff are always friendly.

Good prices and a bright offer (even for New Zealand), but really crowded, entrance is quite narrow. Friendly staff.

It's a bit hard to find stuff at the moment while renovations are on but once everything is finished it should be a lot easier to shop

Pak n Save Tairua is a good cheaper option. There is not much room in the aisles if it is busy and the car park and bldg could do with a spruce up. Service is good and checkout operaters are friendly and helpful.

A great selection of products in general but the meat selection is very disappointing to the point now we don't buy from there. Check out staff at usually very nice

Traffic chaos in the aisles compared to the other big brands. Checkout queues. No self-checkouts. Otherwise all OK. Not much choice in Thames.
