G.I went into the store to get a TV Guide from the Countdown shop, and then meet my sister- in-law at JUST CUTS, then waited as she was having her haircut. Nice job Ladies!!!
J.Well stocked, but always seems a bit dim and tired in there.
M.Good selection. Normally quick and easy to get in and out.
Only down side is the lack of people operated check outs - self service is fine, but for bigger shops the queue / wait can be long.

K.Nice and clean presented store. Attached to the Johnsonville shopping centre mall so you can have a good mall family time too. Deli and bakery had some good deals available. Tasty hot food available. Lovely staff. Great location. Free parking.

H.The biggest supermarket in the Johnsonville/Newlands area. It has a very good range of goods at reasonable prices. The produce is fresh. Everything is well laid out in this modern shop and easy to find. I have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. When I lived in the area this was my favourite/usual grocery store. A good place to shop.

J.Staff are helpful and the range of products is good. Lost one star as once in a while I come across expired food products as well as obviously less than fresh vegetables. Prices are reasonable. Overall a good place to go for your groceries and other items.

M.The staff are friendly, very helpful and most accommodating. For such a small store, it's great to shop at and I haven't used the other, larger Countdown store here in Johnsonville, for years. I do wish they would re-open their public bathroom, though.
J.Visited and shopped here several times during our recent trip to NZ. Always wanted to buy more than I went for, and usually did. Well stocked, clean and a relatively courteous staff compliment. Will definitely make use of this store again on our next visit to the land of the long white cloud.

F.The deli display and fish counter has undergone changes. Fish counter gone and deli display much reduced. No longer available online any more. Not everything needs to be wrapped in prepack plastic.

P.Great discounts and couldn't find what I was lookkng for. When I went the day before there was only one can of tomato puree left on the shelf. I visited again yesterday and there was still nothjng on the shelf. I've noticed they didn't stock up overnight. I asked the staff member and she went straight to the top shelf to get it. They were still in the pack and I couldn't see them up high. I couldn't get up that high to get it.

H.This is an excellent supermarket. Couldn't fault the place if I tried. Excellent service and highly competitive prices.
A.Tiny tiny little mall. Ideal for those quick shops you have to do. Small about of parking so peak times are horrible, best to plan outside of peak times. Great little cafe inside the mall, Michael Hill have some great staff and the countdown has everything you need

J.The smallest countdown.
This is by far the smallest countdown I have been to. It's fine if you just want the basics (bread, butter milk etc) but don't think you'll find much variety here. You are better to pop over to the other bigger countdown if you are looking for something more.
J.I will definitely go back to shop at Countdown because,I find all the items I need,and the customer service was awesome.I just push my trolley to the checkout that was opened, and the checkout operator ask one of the supervisor for help then straight away she called one of the staff to open the lane just to serve me and then later some customers joined in.She smiled at me and ask how am I and continue her scanning and packing.She packed my grocery very well without squashing my chilled mince pies,and before I leave she said have a good day.Well done team and keep up the good work....I believe its all about training your workers,so well done to the person in charge of customer service.You train your stuff well.I will recommend the store to families and friends nearby....

P.I know where everything is. Staff are good. Located in the mall if you want to shop at other places. Only issue is sometimes a bit of a queue at the checkout. Not enough people on them at times. Itherwise my preferred countdown in Johnsonville.
R.Friendly staff, medium size so one can get around the place fairly quickly whilst the range of products is good, adjacent to 2 carparking areas. Unfortunately one has some steep areas which can be problematic if you've got a heavy shopping cart and you have to good back onto a busy road to get from one to the other.
Question for the maps IT staff:- Is my partly completed review of the Johnsonville mall still available or swallowed by the electronic Black hole after my flying finger tip touched the wrong part of my Smartphones screen?
L.Generally good but often out of stock of at least 1-2 things on my list. Recommend the countdown on johnsonville Road (across the road). I only go to this one because it's closer to the bus stops!
V.I love the confectionery items here. Great deal and very fresh. Situated in Johnsonville shopping mall, next to the Johnsonville station.
J.Weird little two Countdowns one Town thing going on that really just acts like a billboard to Kiwis lack of choice.

S.Great little shopping centre with a decent variety of stores and eateries but needs more to attract a younger crowd if it's going to survive, such as Glassons, Doti etc plus Jville needs a bowling alley and cinema. Some kind of adventure/trampoline centre.
B.There is a woman that stands by the self checkout that asks for your ID if you try to buy a red bull
J.My go to store. If the main one is out of something I find they'll usually have it here.

k.Just a waste of space really. There is a better Countdown right across the road. They are only keeping it there so Pak'n'save doesn't move in. Let's hope Johnsonville Mall redevelopment sorts this issue out.
M.We have a choice of two countdown stores in our town and this one has a difference by stocking more keto and gluten free products
L.Good value supermarket with wide enough range of products. Staff are friendly and helpful. I like their no plastic bags policy.

Its a medium sized supermarket but it had all the items youd need on an everyday shop.

And because of this the other one becoming more preferable sometimes.
