P.Really friendly staff who have been there for years. They are always so lovely,patient and helpful. Beautiful team of top women. It’s only a smallish supermarket, so doesn’t have the huge range of other stores, but the service in all departments makes up for it.
M.Small little grocery store but has most of what one could need. They have a good variety of tea (for me anyway as this is the only place I can find the green tea with raspberry teabox). The muffins are pretty delish. I will fight a hundred goats for them Pam's chocolate chip cookies. Fruits and vegetables are good. To be honest though.. At one point, the potatoes were straight up caca, but the quality has gotten much better. Overall, it's pretty good. And right by the bus stop, too.
P.There was a lovely helpful lady at the self checkout who saw we were buying naan bread and she gave us some great tips on making Curries. She's a real asset to this store.
H.New World is very close to my house and the best place to go shopping to. It has food for years, has food for anything you’re looking to get. They have a good service, very easy shopping with the staff and clearly marked aisles. They have kind chatty staff and the staff can easily help you find what you’re looking for. They never run out of stock, so if what you’re looking for isn’t there, ask staff to get it.
New World is definitely one of the greatest shopping markets in NZ.

J.Quite a small compact supermarket but ample carpark spaces. Still delivering great customer services and grocery choices though.
K.Friendly staff they have a lot better range of vegan and vegetarian food options than other new worlds near by. They have some good deals going on in island bay. Good range of beer selection and they always have some good deals on beer and wine. They have good car parking as well.
J.Its ok, deli has nice filled rolls, however produce is a hit and miss and the guy working there this morning was only protecting his chin with his mask…. Whats the point
L.It was clean and specious shopping place. The quality of some fresh food were better than other New World.

F.Is an awesome compact little supermarket, only one occasion I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for but they had a close second choice. Always clean and tidy with a nice non smelly deli area. Sometimes need to be a little quicker getting another checkout open when they're busy would be my only criticism
x.Super convenient, handy location. Big thanks to the team looking after our community through the lockdowns. If checkout operators (especially management in the checkered work shirts?) could refrain from topics like the covid 19 vaccine and their strong anti-vaxxer stance, that would be great.
H.It was great ,I must mention that they do have a great variety of different foods etc at the deli and a nice selection of breads.
One thing that is a bit disappointing is the price of wine, it's still much cheaper to buy my wine at Pak'N Save ,otherwise all is sweet.

C.Not a bad little supermarket ... the isles are a little small and therefore cramped, some ordinary everyday items can be painful to find but it is relatively well stocked with most of your grocery needs! Carpark can be a bit of a pain in the arse but overall not a bad little supermarket! It's not a Pak'nSave so prices are generally what you expect and the service is ok. Location is handy ...
S.Fantastic supermarket. For a small one, it has a great selection and new products on the shelves. The staff take care in the store presentation. We are lucky to have it as our local.
M.Good size supermarket with a wide variety of stock, including gluten free. Staff are really friendly. The owners support our Island Bay community in many ways. There's a focus this month on reducing the use of plastic bags by selling reusable bags for $1

s.Island bay new world is pretty good place to shop, but it is a really good place to get a sandwich or something quick to eat at the very nice beach down the road. In particular the filled rolls sushi and bakery items are excellent. Grab a drink and voila! instant cheap picnic.

P.I was employed by Island Bay New World and I know for a fact the owner Amanda Elliot is an amazing owner/operator who really cares about her supermarket, her staff and especially her customers. The staff here are friendly and helpful .
A.Great choice of food and drink, can be a little expensive but not any more than most supermarkets around Wellington.
There's never really many queues here as they have plenty of checkouts and self service.
