Always great! That's until you encounter Darren the security guard who is extremely unpleasant at times. Arrogant, condescending and judgemental. The other staff I've encountered are all A+. Lovely & non judgemental, smiling and happy to greet you.

I mean we did go after 6pm, gluten free cereals were lacking. Poor checkout staff were smashed, very busy for them. one guy had no till so could only take card payments

Excellent organics section. Capacious parking under awnings that are an engineering feat to behold. Never fail to check out the magazine rack (New Scientist) to see whether the ultimate questions are answered yet. Produce section always fresh and sensibly sourced.

Big store that offers a lot of barieties of items you need on daily basis with slightly cheaper price compared to other supermarkets in town. They always have special prices, extra low items that surely helps. There are lot of choices of fresh veggie and fruits, meat, poultry, fresh seafood as well. Chips, biscuits, spices, asian food, wine and beverages are also abundant. They carry Pams and Value brand for cheaper options. They also have indomie and mie sedap, the famous instant noodle from Indonesia. Yaaay You need to scan the NZ Covid-19 tracker when entering the place. It has big parking lot, open as well as covered. There is ramp and this place is also disability friendly.

Would be five stars, except it's usually ridiculously packed in there unfortunately. Makes navigation quite slow and difficult. You almost need lanes and traffic lights in there 😃

Comparing with other branches, I would like to say this shop is around average. The store is relatively smaller with fewer selections of products. I like the one in Petone more because it has bigger space and wider range of selections. Price seems cheaper in Petone. But the staff is nice.

Where we go to save $$, I go late at night so it's not as stressful, the lanes are wide which is nice but the clientele are stressful, the range is less than other grocery stores. You get what you pay for, it's really cheaper.

Very cheap grocery items. Convenient place to go to as it is near bus stops and train station. Side Note: I was able to find Parore(black snapper) here which is my alternative to Tilapia. Fry it and the taste is similar.

Great Supermarket with competitive prices. Good layout that doesn't make you go through produce for top up shops unlike other Pak n Saves in Wellington. Lots of self serve kiosks but layout can be confusing to see which ones are free. Very easy access with underground parking for hot/raining weather that always has space near entry/exit. Only downside is some entry/exits are very close to intersections/traffic lights but that can't be helped.

I woke up in the staff toilet after a day of insobriety and debauchery. The staff there treated me with surprising but welcomed couthfulness and after, they promptly shepherded me off the building. A good shopping experience with wonderful sense of indifference from the staffs, the seafood ingredients section is best in Wellington.

Went here in december 2020 and I was pleased with the range of products they had. The parking lot is clear and the shop is accessible. Pak'nSave also have online shopping and online orders. They have great hot foods. Products such as Cadbury, Pam's, maggi, so good and other brands are available here.

Some staff are super friendly while others can be super rude. Depends on the day. Shelves are mostly well stocked and great prices. Most of the customers are miserable so it's not a positive shopping experience - don't go when you're feeling low and just remember that you're saving money.

A well laid out supermarket. I love the little gaps they made so that you can skip the veggie section and head exactly to the isles in the shop that you really want to get to. Was a bit shocked at the price sticker of $17 per kg for chops. Though to be fair that may be beyond their control. Will have to check around. Staff are polite. Which is great.

Their veggies are not always that fresh and the alcohol selection a bit limited. But there's usually good fish and sea food items. In the end... it's a supermarket. You get what you get when it's available. Another point off because they don't clean the trolley handles. Bring your own disinfectant.

Excellent suburban supermarket. This is one of the larger supermarkets in Wellington, with a good range of fresh food. Their non fresh food range is about average. It's very busy, which is slightly negative, as that means crowds and parking can be tight. Prices are generally similar or slightly lower compared to the competition but not across everything, so be aware not everything is a bargain.

Excellent pricing, usually pretty cheap for most items. Big store so you will find a vast variety of food. A massive upgrade had been made (Late 2018) to both the interior and exterior of the front area, so it is more appealing to go to.

I love the new store. It is easy to get around and a great selection - better than most. Price is a bit steep as compared to other Pak'nSave's. The re-done street level car park is still a bit of a mess to get through when it's busy. The lack of driver courtesy only adds to the difficulty.

Good place to get your groceries. Only buy the specials. There is a petrol pump next door. Where you can redeem your shopping vouchers.

Pak n Save Kilbirnie was great as usual, lots of items at bargain prices. It was packed being a Sunday afternoon but there were lots of counters open to cater for the demand which is good to see. Staff were super efficient so we got served quickly.

Wonderful staff, always super friendly and helpful and have genuine conversations! More than happy to head out back to storage to see if they have items not on shelves. Usually have a basket with apples in it for the kids to eat at the beginning to help keep them occupied!

Some day are brilliant. Others are average. Today they ran out of products. Prices have increased since renovations. Some staff are friendlier than others. Biggest problem is non disability drivers parking on disabled car parks.

They're in the midst of a rebuild. Products migrate around the store without warning making it difficult to find what you want, and the various obstructions that appear as a result of this make progress around the store slow. It's not my favourite place right now, but prices remain attractive if you've a keen eye. Hopefully it'll be better when the building work is complete.

The availability of range of products with cheapest prices makes it the first choice for lumpsum grocery shopping. However, then number of branches of the store should be increased, with only 2 current branches present in Wellington.

Your average supermarket, usually has better deals than the rest of the wellington region. Love how they have so much seafood instock compared to the others. Crabs, prawns, lobster tails, crawfish, octopus etc. Be handy to someone who loves their seafood like I do hehe. Usually packed but that's normal with the location they're in, can't comment too much on staff but will soon see when I make regular trips here.

Typical large supermarket with good prices. If you arelooking for a nice shopping experience then this is not the place to go. But if you are looking or the best price you can't beat it. Sometimes the vegetables and fruit are not the best as can be the odd cut of meat.

Not much to say, as supermarkets go they are OK. Found most of what I needed and some items I haven't seen in other stores. On the whole for someone that doesn't like shopping, not a terrible experience.

Cheaper shopping on most items. Fruit and vegetables department can be disappointing as produce can be bruised or going off In deli department, new worker who I think has taken over from wonderful woman that was supervisor. Ever since then things are running late. I could arrive around 6.45am - 7am and deli would be completely set up and cooked chickens ready to go. Now I have to wait 20mins for chicken and still sorting out the salads. Very poor, and she always looks very sour, could crack a smile

As of August-ish this Pak'n'Save has been refurbished to match other recently built shops in the chain. It is now relatively light, open, and clean. The prices are still some of the cheapest in town, and the butchery and seafood section still has processing on site (compared to many Countdowns which pack of-site).

If you are like me and haven't been for a while you would be presently surprised. It's had a make over and has lost the old tired look. Even I was surprised at the fruit and vegetable section. I recommend it is time for a visit.

Convenient location and easy to navigate with a short cut to other areas instead of making you walk the path of fruit and vegetables to meat like some other stores which is handy for a quick dash in and out for a pack of timtams or loaf of bread. Lots of self service too. Heaps of unground parking and child parking in front of the store above ground.

They did a refurb here recently and it's made the weekly shop a lot more enjoyable. True story, I also saw Jordie Barrett here once looking confused/dopey as per usual. I couldn't work out if the lady with him was his girlfriend or his helper, but he definitely wasn't entrusted with either the shopping basket or food selection. Top bloke

Coming from Tauranga to visit friends popped into PAKnSAVE Kilbirnie ( Wellington) and WOW! Go You PAKnSAVE ! The seafood section is phenomenal honesty the best seafood selection I have seen in the whole of NZ wish we had that choice in our town... so fresh even had a selection of crabs very rare indeed it’s almost worth moving to Kilbirnie for the seafood alone!

Pak'nSave is one of the main grocery stores in Wellington, it has succeeded beyond expectations with it's family friendly help centre, self done paying machines and the friendly workers. Pak'nSave can be a hassle in the holiday season like Christmas, but that's why it's good that it has enough space inside to house many people at one time, Pak'nSave is also good if you went to just drop in and drop out for a quick shop. Pak'nSave has an outside carpark and a huge carpark in the basement.
