Reviews of New World Westport
T.Bit different finding your way around . Just a suggestion that if the signs at the end of the aisles were turned 180deg would make it a lot easier for stranger's to the supermarket . But I have to say that the alcohol aisle is the best displayed one I've ever seen . 👍
P.Relatively busy but little stock especially when specials are on! Expired meat is frozen & still sold. And having reduced items (split bags, broken items etc) that have less than a 10% reduction, why bother? Most staff are friendly & helpful, and the store is generally well kept.
J.Even tho there were extensions going on...that just made me happy! The produce and presentation surpassed most! The young man at the self checkout was awesome! If I had more stars....New World would get them! Kia kaha good folks on the coast xx
B.I really didn't like shopping there. Felt staff and customers were not taking covid seriously.
Small shop so hard to keep distances.. but really no one even tried.
I know small towns struggle and Westport had a lot of knocks this year. But when covid is in South island communities I would not reccomend shopping there.
L.Amazing staff at checkouts, non mask friendly, had a great range to choose from
M.Great product range of products in this supermarket. Somewhat pricy in the meats department however located in Westport thiscis somewhat understandable given the freight costs. The supermarket serves the Bullee district and has plenty of off street car parking.
Given that the are in the business of supplying fresh food daily they do a wonderful job. Located on the main street it is very handy to the main shopping centre I Westport.
Keep up the good work New World Westport!
K.Fantastic, Glad I Didn't go in for "BOG ROLLS" Stupid people gone berserk clearing the shelves.Dont they know KAWERAU produce tons of rolls in New Zealand!!!
S.Nice layout, great service and well stocked
S.Smaller to what I am use to - - -> Otautahi! So something I will adapt to. Friendly staff, can be very cramped but it will have to do for a small town I guess.
B.OK but a bit cramped. Found all we required. Very friendly service staff
