C.I love this place. Great range of Asian foods. Clean tidy shop. Great friendly customer service. I really like how they always get new products in. The Indian spice fruit and vegie store in Maunu could learn a lot from this business

L.King's Mart is our families go to Asian food store. We haven't found anywhere else in the Whangarei area that's better!
They have a really good selection of many kinds of Asian foods and spices. While King's Mart doesn't have as big of a selection as some of the Asian food stores do in Auckland, it's pretty good for this town.
King's Mart carries a very large amount of packaged Ramen noodle soup. There is every flavor and spicy level you could ever want. There's nearly a whole wall of them! So if you love Ramen, you will love King's Mart!
They also carry a small amount of fresh produce. There are many frozen foods and ingredients available as well. Pretty much everything you'd need to cook a wonderful Asian feast!
There are a lot of choices of sweet, salty, or umami snacks. There carry drinks, of which we buy a case of coconut water almost every week. As well as household goods, like cleaning supplies and some beauty goods. Shampoo, conditioner, and personal care products.
The employees are lovely... Very helpful and professional. You can sign up for their frequent shoppers list which gives you discounts.
If you love Asian foods and especially if you love to cook, this is a great store to buy what you need to make anything from a stir fry, to dumplings, to pot stickers. You'll be very happy to shop here.

G.So many delicious treats here it's difficult to not walk out with half the shop. Frozen pork buns and the great range if mochi will be my downfall! Love shopping here.
K.This is one of my favorite places in town. They have everything you need and more. I love coming in here and buying things I've never tried before, and the staff are so lovely and helpful. Last time I went in I bought a durian, it's been a dream of mine to try durian and I'd never thought I'd actually find one, and I was given a nice tote bag to carry it with.
Like I said, King's Mart has everything you could ever imagine and the staff go an extra mile to help you find what you need. Definitely 5 stars
R.Great service overall and the assistant excellent people skills in all the product's that were in the shop.I called inthe store to see if they had bamboo steamers.. the assistant helped me choose the best for what I needed to use it for....plus he gave me a few TIPS on how to use it. Very helpful indeed. I got a few other product's as well.I was pleased with the results overall..now I keep going back to the same store. Ummm I spent about half and hour in the shop then I went home. So beautiful people if you are in Whangarei NZ visit us and visit this awesome store and what Whangarei has to offer.....swimming fishing diving HANGI(MAORI-HANGI) cooked in the ground YUMMY.....more more to see.

Y.My favourite place to shop in Whangarei. From all the meal ingredients you'd need for Asian cooking, to snacks, sweets, frozen goods and even storage options. Awesome place. If they stocked a wider variety of mochi I would probably never leave lol
