Nice helpful staff but again the older locals don't like visitors shopping there and made their rude comments heard....which is sad for the Onerahi community.

Small but generally good New World. Checkout staff very kind. Small entrance and not clear markings with Covid restrictions whether you're allowed walking through or have to wait. Some things are limited selection and could be compared to a large Four Square.

Great store. Nothing too much trouble. Knowledgeable staff, friendly and helpful. Credit to the owners James and Claire? I've shopped here since it opened as a supermarket (40 years?) and best it's ever been.

Pretty much anything you would need here. Clean surroundings, friendly staff.

Lately many items have been missing from shelves.....cheaper brands especially. With no details about when they will come in?? Onerahi services a huge community beyond Onerahi and this shortage is not OK. I had to go into Whangarei and Kensington to get several items

Really nice and organized, I only went to buy a bottle of water but the store was really organized

Busy on new year's eve but still all we needed was available and excellent service at the checkout.

They don't have everything, not a huge selection of fruit and vege here, no lard of any kind either. The deli is out of service as well here.

Friendly cheerful staff, great range for a compact little store really

A smaller supermarket but a good range of products and reasonable prices. They always have good specials on the lines I need. Very good meat selection and very high quality, especially for a supermarket! Great selection of wine and beer- again there is usually one of my favorites on special. Best for last- the staff are always friendly and helpful. During the covid queuing, a shelter was erected to keep us out of the weather. They always welcome my autistic son, who loves gong there.

Gave this business 3 stars was disappointed they do not offer Super Goldcard holders Tuesday discounts like the Regent New World does. However meat is fresh and my spouse loved the pork bones. Also found great vegan packs and fresh fruit and veges for me. But of course Regent New World offers that and more.

Not a great range of products for a new world supermarket. Would usually drive the extra time to Whangarei and go to a bigger supermarket.

Parking is tricky. Why are the checkout people nailed in to their places? They have to bend really low or crawl out. Must be an emergency hazzard

A great team. I came in for fish bait a while back. I couldn't find the bait I wanted, so the store owner whent out the back for a search, came out with all the bait I need and a few little xtras I hadn't thought of. Ta

Very busy wee place Easter weekend! Very friendly helpful staff...we emptied out their ice fridge for my brother's wedding...last minute panic..lots of fresh bread from bakery at 2pm Saturday...thank you New World Onerahi!!!!

The range here has improved so much since I've moved to Onerahi 2 years ago. The staff are great and always have a smile. I love how environmentally conscious this store has become offering vegan options and plastic free choices. This is my number one stop.

It was quick, short and had good discounts on products I purchased. And guess what, it also offers "free WiFi" which no other grocery stores do to my knowledge. Also, one of the lady at the counter (Asian I suppose) is so sweet interacting to all and when I denied for plastic bag she encouraged it for having a plastic free environment. Thumbs up. I now like going here for all emergency groceries.

Love my local supermarket! Awesome staff members with a great owner who digs in and isn't afraid to work who plays a big part in our community.

Poorly situated extremely busy place and traffic is a nightmere. Would be great if it was relocated to a better location and a bigger store for Onerahi

Today, 18.02.16 I was doing my grocery shopping at New World in Onerahi. I have a severe back injury which makes it very difficult for me. Anyway, about half way around the store my right leg went numb, I clung to my trolley and went a few steps to the freezer section. I was in danger of slipping to the floor. The New World staff were wonderful. One of the checkout operators noticed I was in trouble and advised another member of staff and a lovely young women called Katie came to my aid. She brought a chair over for me to sit on and recover and then asked me if she could help with my shopping. She was wonderful and got the rest of the items I needed. By this time my leg had recovered enough to enable me to walk. I paid for my groceries and Katie then helped me out to my car and loaded all my groceries into my car for me and took back the trolley. I would just like to say thank you to New World and especially to Katie for helping me out today. Your concern for me and your helpfulness was very much appreciated. Thanks again Sandy Patira.
