The staff are helpful an d have gone out of their way to locate items in store on on their way, and the regular people I see at the check outs are friendly and chatty. The fruit and veg can often be cheaper than Pak'n'Save which is brilliant. Yours is not always the best job but you are the best supermarket for me ! Happy New Year!

Having a seizure while getting groceries & needed help from one of the staff members, when I told her what was happening she offered to get me a seat but I just wanted to finish up & go home...she kept an eye on me til I was finished. Thank you so much, you are appreciated.

Very nice grocery store. They have the freshest produce in town. I can also get products here that other stores don't have like the naked kernel microwave popcorn!

Countdown Whangarei has substantial nearby off street parking - shared by multiple other business entities. A large portion of the carpark is fully covered - making it easy to stay out of the sun or out of the rain. The extensive range of foodstuff and great range of other home necessities make this shop a great place to spend some time. Fresh fruit and veges, and baking range make it an oasis too. Pleasant, helpful team members add to the positive shopping experience.

One thing a lot of Kiwis recognise is that Countdown usually have an excellent range..... a good choice of products in a particular line..... & it does SEEM easier to find everything. Obviously, we'd all prefer if our groceries were more competitively priced..... But Countdown aren't so bad against rivals who you might think would have, could have, should have beaten them. I'm grateful to find everything I need in the one store!

I love this countdown. So nice and clean, has a Chemist as well. Plenty of parking. Nice deli and fruit and veg.

Our online shopping choice. Cannot praise the staff enough with the excellent way my shopping is handled whether it be pick-up or delivered. Countdown has become a great favourite of ours, and beyond covid19 (if ever) we will continue to use their services. Thank you.

Countdown the number one or one of the best groceries shopping in town. Great value for money and a great deals right of the shelves. Countdown offers a wide range of products for everyone to choose from. The staff members are friendly and helpful. I I personally recommend this shop.
