Paul and the team did a wonderful job of my son's wedding attire - they took their time time sure his suit fitted perfectly, the in-store hospitality over the fittings was really something else. It was a great experience!

Being marooned in Auckland (thanks Covit), needing a suit, on a friends recommendation I went to Doran and Doran Tailors. First impressions - very casual (my personal taste is more classic English), I spoke to a young sales man who booked me to come back and speak to the owner in about half an hour. The owner was much more knowledgeable - he talked me through the makes and grades as well as explaining the difference between their made to measure and bespoke programs (they offer a true bespoke suit) For this first one I settled on a made to measure, full canvas, navy blue chalk stripe double breasted suit with handmade button holes which cost $2250.00, half paid in deposit, half paid on the collection. The following week I received an email inviting me to attend a fitting in a further weeks time, I gladly accepted, hoping the suit would be ready for a work event the following week. The fitting went very well - the details we had discussed at the initial fitting, were all executed correctly, which to be honest I wasn't sure they would be. I pressed the tailor to make the trousers a bit wider than I think he would normally would and he did. He did suggest a slightly longer jacket than I would have initially thought, am glad I went with his recommendation, my wife and I agree it's the best fitting suit I have. The minor adjustments were completed the day of my fitting (a Saturday) and a very polite gentleman hand delivered my completed suit to our house that afternoon. Overall a very pleasing experience - maybe a little against my first impressions. Only feedback I would give is that it's a shame they don't have a wider selection of ties, as then I wouldn't need to shop anywhere else.

I accompanied my brother to his wedding suit fitting and was so impressed with Paul's customer service and incredible knowledge that I decided to get fitted for a suit myself. I couldn't be more pleased with the level of communication I received. My difficult travel schedule meant that it had to be a quick turnaround but he was proactive with setting up a fitting and delivery schedule. His expert tailoring and impeccable style mean that Doran and Doran are making the best menswear in Auckland.

Every time I visit Doran & Doran there is more than one thing that I want. Fortunately for me Paul is more selective about what I buy and keeps me looking my best. The level of skill and service he provides is thoughtful and no matter how often I’m there he always has a great yarn to tell.

Visiting Paul is an experience. He will transform the way you present yourself and leave you wondering why your old clothes don't fit. From bespoke formal wear to everyday pieces, Doran & Doran is essential.

Outstanding service! My husband's suit was perfect

First time I visited D&D, in 2018, there had been a burglary a few weeks previously. Ask Paul about it, next time you visit (and for your wardrobe's sake, I hope that you do.) Although devastating for the business, it seemed the break-in was à propos. Professional, elegant, and with a glimmer of romance/mystery — just like the clobber hanging on the racks.

Paul at Doran & Doran tailored a beautiful black tuxedo for me for my wedding. The service and advice I received was excellent. The suit is incredible and I would and have recommended Doran & Doran to anyone who is looking for bespoke tailoring to an incredibly high standard at a very decent price. Good service, solid advice, and stunning clothing. I ran in to an issue with the first order I made, but it was handled so well that I'd recommend his service to everyone. If you're looking to get high quality tailored clothing, this is the place to go!
