A.I have had several dress alteration done by Thom over the last several months. She is always honest and clear about what she can and can't alter, and what she thinks would look best. And the outcome is always top notch. She works with me to get it just right and the price is reasonable.
j.Breathed new life into Jackets, cycling tops and backpacks on several occasions. Cannot fault her work. Saved me having to throw the items out. Replaced their zips.

a.I am so sad to see the negative review placed here in April, 2019 for the lovely lady at Needle Work, Kilbirnie. I have been coming here for years, based on rave reviews posted regularly in Neighbourly. Her sewing /alterations work is exceptional, across several different tasks/repairs/fabrics and particular requests. She is entirely professional, friendly, ethical and hard-working. She is, in fact, an immigrant from Vietnam, who has shown great courage in setting up her own business. Her English is perfectly clear and acceptable. We should all look to her as an example in our New Zealand society of civility and decency, as well as her success. I would also like to point out the spelling and punctuation mistakes in that negative post, in regards to the use of proper English that person is so quick to criticise.
