Highly recommended!
R.Its been quite a while since I was tattooed last, but now I am continuing my addiction. The Jolly Octopus is full of talented and friendly staff who are helpful with creating designs and ideas. Steve has exceeded my expectations on several occasions now, the first time with Chucky, which confirmed I had chosen the right tattoo artist and studio to continue with my other ideas. The second was with a Grim Reaper cover up, and now that its finished, one wouldn’t realise that it is a cover up. Steve has great aptitude for detail and colour matching, and I highly recommend him and his staff at The Jolly Octopus if you are looking for flair as I have since returned for several more.

I.Steve was professional and did a great job piercing my lobes (thirds) and first helix. I am very happy with the results and will be coming back here to get some more. I would no hesitate to recommend you guys to others.

Maki (artist) was super helpful and came up with a fantastic design that matched what I wanted. She took great care to keep a clean station and make sure I was good to go. Spot on! Nice work! A lovely place with lotsa cute octopus toys & was playing a great documentary in the waiting area rather than the usual loud music, as in other tattoo places. Forgot to ask what the name of it was so I could find it & watch the whole thing!
B.Very friendly staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home, the piercings are quick and easy as they know what they are doing. Must say that their goodie bags are a wonderful touch and I look forward to a tattoo consult in the future!
T.I went to get a nose peircing done at the jolly octopus, I loved the location as it didn't require me to find a car park in the middle of the city and walk onto the main st just to get my nose pierced...customer service very friendly American well spoken and super calming...he didn't just peirce my nose and be rid of me as some people tend to do...enjoyed some banter and listening to his love of our beautiful country. Process was hygienic and quick and I would highly recommend this establishment! Thank you
L.Such a great place, filled with great people. Lil did an amazing job reworking/covering up a current tattoo plus a small script piece over the last 2 days; she was incredibly dedicated to helping me get the finish I wanted and her work is amazing! Easy to get on with and a genuine lovely person.
Steve previously changed my nose stud to a ring and took care of with calm professionalism whilst also keeping an upbeat, jolly attitude; even when it was being a total horror to change. All healed great with no issues.

Z.I got my tattoo done by Sebastian Williams and am absolutely blown away by the design and care that he put into it. The staff were super friendly, the tattoo parlor clean, tidy and well presented. My tattoo has healed beautifully with no complications and I'm currently saving so I can get my next piece done here soon! I'd highly recommend to anyone wanting a fun, professional, hygienic and friendly environment when getting inked!
D.I'm not sure you'll find a closer, more friendly group of people in any business. I've been twice to get work done and have always been superbly happy with the results! Both Sebastian (who did line work on my arm) and Steve (who did my star wars tattoo on their charity day) were professional and both larger than life personalities.
Definitely coming back to get my forearm finished!

R.Popped in to get some good quality jewellery for a piercing (not done here) that was taking a while to heal. Turns out I just needed some reassuring and expert advice. Super nice people that know their profession well and won't rip you off.
P.Hazel is not only a beautiful artist but has a beautiful soul. She was able to create exactly what I wanted as tribute to my dad. Even my mum, whos an Irish mammy, loved it. I was also impressed with the salon's hygiene, which being a nurse, is important!! Prices are reasonable too. The whole experience was very rewarding and cathartic on a day when my world was in pieces. What more can I say? Go to these guys.

C.What can I say about the jolly octopus? If you go there expecting the most rich, moist and amazing chocolate Gateaux and perfect soy mocha to match you're SOL and JWF. But if you want a good tattoo experience then I couldn't recommend better. For my birthday I decided to get a tattoo that I had been planning for a while and after a few emails back and forth with Lil (quiet and soft spoken but amazingly focused) we had it all planned. My birthday came and I arrived at the jolly octopus and Lil was ready, and I don't mean going to the doctor ready I mean John Wick on assignment ready( google it, it's a great film). So after a brief introduction Lil started work and it was during this period that the friendly and talkative Steve arrived, so while we chatted about comics and our children Lil worked on what was to become the amazing piece on my leg, it came out just as I had hoped and I couldn't be happier, This was by far the best tattoo experience I have ever had. But as I said no chocolate gateaux but Steve did have a tuna sandwich.
