W.Decent regional airport. Parking was simple and easy, swipe your credit card at the gate and once again when you leave. It will work out the charges automatically. Its pretty quite in the terminal when there are no scheduled flights. There is one cafe in the airport open
A.Decent little regional airport, Air NZ has the modern features, everything is nice and clean and tidy around the airport. Bathrooms are great with big cubicles to accommodate suitcases etc with you. Cafe available and good viewing area. Carpark allows 20 mins free parking which is great if dropping off or picking up.
C.Wow a pretty flash Airport!! Nice clean loos, nice looking food (didn't try it ... not enough time) ... really good for a small provincial airport. Well done Invercargill. 😀

Lots of space .very good Cafe and very clean toilets. Flights to other areas in Nz leave from here plus those to Stewart Island. Good walk close by but no trail from airport.
r.We were there to pick up family.
We immediately noticed if you sat in the waiting area there must have been lots of Covid.
But there was none in the restaurant area, so we waited there with a flat white.
It seemed much safer.
G.For me this is a really neat, clean and modern airport with several flights a day to Stewart Island. The airport has the latest check-in facilities and bag drop off. There is a small café serving snacks, hot and cold drinks all at reasonable prices for an airport. The toilets are clean and well maintained as is the rest of the airport. The seating area is comfortable and you can watch the aircraft taking off and landing.
A.All I can say is Southern hospitality is everywhere. Air NZ staff are truly warm and welcoming. The willingness to help travellers is what makes travel so memorable. I will be back. Thank you to all the wonderful people I met along the way.

P.The airport is very small. Very helpful people. But when it came to sitting for a cuppa in cafe I was a little bit annoyed. I had to clean my own table and I noticed the other tables were not getting cleaned after removing dirty dishes. Not good enough

D.Great 4 visits to this regional airport. First, arriving for the first time from home. Quick and easy process to collect luggage. Second and third, to fly to and from Stewart Island, very easy to negotiate the required procedures. Fourth, was for heading home, again very easy. Both airlines with friendly capable staff. A problem today with printing boarding passes, no worries, "Let me help." From the air hostess.
The terminal car parks are spacious and easy to navigate.
While the terminal facilities are more than adequate, clean airy and spacious.
Reasonable priced hot drinks and food.

t.Don't be 5 min late you will not be able to fly.No consideration at all.And they sting you with an extra $100.for a later flight.
N.This is an excellent Regional Airport. Very roomy clean and tidy with good signeage. Comfortable chairs with good food and beverages. Also has a well set out carpark with plenty of room.
L.Small airport, but does the trick. Limited food at the cafe and a bit pricey. Staff at the thrifty rental counter was really friendly and helpful. Quick baggage retrieval.
A.New Terminal Building spacious and easy to move around in. Cafe and gift shops added. Already a new secure area built for handling non stop A320 Auckland services as well as busy Christchurch flights has a small cafe inside it.
L.A great little airport with a fantastic helpful guy named Tony at Avis car rentals. He was a great introduction to Invercargill. Thanks Tony for finding us the perfect rental even though we hadn't booked.

We were searched and told to take off shoes, belts and even my bag was searched. I felt safe and the staff were organised. Everyone kept their distance from each other. Most of all, I got to meet my partners family. Tour of Bluff. Beautiful outlook and everything I expected. I Love NZ!

L.Small airport but has most of what you need. Unfortunately we weren't able to buy a luggage strap to hold our damaged bag together so just had to pray it didn't fall completely apart during baggage handling.

D.This is a great New Zealand regional airport. The staff are friendly and helpful if you need them for anything. The facilities are excellent after a recent upgrade and it is an ideal gateway for the city of lnvercargill. Best of all it is only 5 minutes from the CBD.
R.New airport is very nice but there is a major need for some background music playing. It has a silent dead feeling. Also in the car park there needs to be some high poles marking the parking lines so you can locate your car more easily.
D.One of the finest domestic Airports in New Zealand since it's refurbishing last year. It has a functional cafe open during the day and automatic boarding pass machines, where you just scan your e-ticket to acquire your passes. The bathrooms were very clean, and hand-drying methods were also above satisfactory. Only downside is you have to pay for more than 10 minutes of parking, unlike other airports which generously offer 20 free minutes.
G.really??? Like its just an airport. Nothing spectacular or different than any other. Since the refurbishing it is now just as boring as any other airport from what I can see. Has automated check in machines. Still lacks air bridges and has clean dunnys and a cafe.

T.Cute and functional. IVC is a small airport, so don't expect flashy amenities. It is served by two airlines (Air New Zealand and Stewart Island Air--I changed planes from the former to the latter), has but one restaurant, one baggage carousel, and a few rental car counters. Staff at all of the above live up reputation that far-south South Islanders have for being exceptionally friendly and helpful. With just one gate and one 'hall', everything is (obviously) quite handy. It's a pleasant experience.

C.last time i was here was 2015 just when they opened the refurbished terminal, as a regular visitor to IVC the new layout was alot better than the old-school "Mexican style airport" model complete with upgraded Cafe facilities and shop. No more having to walk into a separate room to collect your luggage.

T.Pretty good but covid has closed the koru lounge assuming there is one. The plane looked like it had a diddle hanging out from under it which was a bit interesting.
