Good customer service, especially having a courtesy vehicle. Just beware that they don't adjust camber on particular vehicles. In my case on a Subaru Forester. I've been going there for wheel alignments for the last year. Assuming they where doing a full wheel alignment, they claim to have not been adjusting the camber adjustment which I recently found to be loose and has caused my alignment to go out within a few 100km. They have offered to realign it but they still refuse to adjust the camber bolt to an adequate setting. I find this strange as adjusting camber on any vehicle with such adjustment is standard practise at 4 other alignment shops I know of. I feel Gas and Tyre Whangarei should atleast notify customers of this fact for I thought it was being checked and could have lead to a serious accident if it had of fallen out, not to mention the alignment not staying true.

Really impressed with the service at Gas & Tyre Waipapa. I had a flat tyre and no spare so went in to see these guys. They were friendly and super helpful. The receptionist was lovely and kind and made me the best coffee I've ever had while I waited for my new tyre to be balanced. In and out in 20 minutes. Awesome service, couldn't recommend more highly!

Went in to enquire about a Tyre and have it checked out, the staff were friendly and did a Quick check over of all my other tyres also only 30 mins or so and was good to go and my mind at ease thanks.

Such a great company. Ive had my tyres replaced through Gas & Tyre quitea few times now. They are by far the cheapest in Whangarei, they always manage to fit me in last minute and get the job done super quick! The staff are super friendly. Highly recommend this organization. This has to be the most amazing tyre shop in the world! Their price was far cheaper than anyone else in town and even though they were crazy busy the were very helpful and friendly. And I have never had such fast work done on my car. They had fitted all four new tyres, shined up my wheels in less than 20 minutes. Thanks Gavin and team I'll be back!

Even though the store looked busy with other vehicles, my car was in and jacked up in no time. A professional inspection of my tyres revealed I had an alignment issue that needed attending too. I had an issue with road noise with my old tyres, but the new ones recommended are excellent. Nice and quiet. Thank you Gas and Tyres. Top job.

Amazing service. I called around all tyre shops in Whangarei but Gas & Tyre were by far the cheapest during their happy hour. We were booked in 10mins after i called. They fitted and balanced the tyres in 20 minutes and we got the best deal! Thank you so much! Would highly recommend

Amazing service! I had a tired off my car on the side of the road and one of the guys pulled over and helped with a temp fix to get the car to the workshop where they immediately repaired the tire, back on the road within half an hour!

Great service. Fast, friendly and very well priced. I had a blow out which turned into a hassle as I had no lock nut. Managed to get the spare on and knowing I needed to change all 4 tyres before the next warrant, took it in to Gas and Tyre. The receptionist was really friendly, gave me a quote which was far less than I was expecting then told me they could change the tyres right then. An hour later, 4 new tyres, spare back in the boot and new lock nut installed into glove box, I was one happy customer.

I've always found gas&tires to be a good place to deal with, right from when Bruce Millar worked on the floor changing tires. Gavin is as good as his father is or was. John Llewellyn

Awesome service, very quick.... Information relevant to our situation given, not confusing like many other places ..... And provided a reasonable solution, as was unable to provide exactly what we arrived for... When we returned to take up that solution, service provided also very quick ... Advised of approx timeframe for the job to be done (half an hour'ish), and kept to that timeframe .... Unlike many others who say an hour, and you return in an hour only to wait another hour... Lol..... Will definitely use gas and tyre waipapa in the future if the need arises.... Awesome job guys

Their Happy Hour prices are AMAZING! I saved a huge amount compared with the price I was given from my usual tyre supplier. And the service has got to be the fastest I've ever seen. I hadn't even finished my coffee (real bean too by the way) and they had four new tyres on my car. And lastly... all four tyres and my rims were shined up sparkling clean. Its not often you get this sort of amazing care for such a routine thing so I want to give them something back by sharing my story. Go Gas & Tyre team!
