K.
Gorgeous flagship lounge (much better than the Qantas lounge in AKL). We entered as Qantas club members on a Jetstar flight (they had to manually process our entry, but we entered first and the kind server brought us our boarding passes).
Buffet is open, their sweets like caramel tart, vanilla cupcake, coffee mouse are excellent. The A la carte was not open I think due to covid. Lounge was very empty on 31/05/21, and everyone was very welcoming. Lots of beers and wines available, even self serve spirits.
Hope to visit this beautiful lounge again.
J.
Great service and spacious area for members. The quality of food is excellent. Nice drinks and coffee. There are various setting configuration to suit people with different preference and style. The table I sit has wireless charging to my phone.
P.
Standard business class, Star Alliance lounge - buffet food and plenty of drink options.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The chicken ragù -type dish was quite nice (probably a 4/5).
Great view from the outdoors area, even though it was dark.
The place was absolutely packed when we went - we were lucky to get seats - there was literally a line of people to get in when we were walking out!
Y.
Excellent facilities, tasty food, open bar. Very spacious, with a range of seating available. Many luxurious showers. Automated coffee ordering system via the Air NZ app.
Highly recommended, it's a great place to relax before a flight!
S.
Very comfortable lounge operated by Air New Zealand, which is expected to open to Star Alliance members. Cathay Pacific also offered the entrance invitation to Marco Polo members above silver status or OneWorld members above sapphire status. The lounge is quite large and had wonderful view. A variety of food and beverage are provided, which are delicious. This place is really a relaxing lounge to take a rest before a long flight.
P.
No longer an exclusive space for premium customers. Looks like everyone can get in. Always fully occupied with loud children and feral customers who have no respect for other people's privacy. Decor is great in certain spots. Love the living wall of plants but tiles were dated with dirty spot marks. A selection of hot breakfast food items were great but the organisation was shocking. People were queuing up to get poached eggs blocking other food stations. Also should allow one egg per customer. Overall room for improvement.
B.
Great drop in on your way abroad. Yes it is busy but I always seem to get a seat and the food is excellent with plenty of healthy options. Order your hot drink through the air New Zealand app and life suddenly becomes easier and you can relax. Enjoy life in the slow(er) lane

I rated this 3.5 out of 5 for the following reasons;
I travel alot using business class, therefore this review is based on my world-wide knowledge of the style and levels of service that are available for business lounges, for the savvy avid traveller.
Service; Service upon entering is not what I would imagine for the flagship newly renovated premiere lounge for Air New Zealand - the entrance level receptionists looked a little nervey and slightly judgemental, or perhaps the amounts of people that were inside, had jarred upon their sensibilities? However, quick interrogation, to see if I was worthy of entering (I was) and then once I passed the gustapo - I was in!
Yassssss - aaah no, upon closer inspection (I was there to review the place and see if my dollars were well spent) complete waste of my money and time, no comfortable seats, the only thing that was vacant was probably the manners of the ladies at the front of house.
Facilities; Since the renovations, the business lounge is fit to service up to what looks like a couple of hundred at one go. However, the only thing with this increased space is more demand and longer cues in the business lounge during peak time, compared to outside in normalsville. Granted NZ is first to spearhead chefs and bar-staff serving up cocktails in a lounge environment, however the downside is that, there are larger numbers all vying for cocktails, espresso martini's, kiwitini's and coffee - result, service level has downgraded.
Vibe; When I arrived, I could see why the ladies at the front area were frazzled-the staff on the inside were inundated with huge amounts of public, all wanting coffee, all wanting at (9am in the morning -drinking champagne, really!!!), and all vying for a coveted comfy seat, rather than have to sit on the hard seats in the dinning area.
Food/wine; wine selection and beers were the usual suspects, as well as some good New Zealand sauvignon blancs, pinot noirs, nz beer and sparkling wine. I however, could not see any French champagne such as Verve, Moet, or otherwise, which was just not good enough for the discerning travellers that pay top dollar and expect top shelf wines, beer, champagne etc.
Food;I like the fact that croq monsieur was being served up as well as lots of good, tasty food, this was the only place were there were loads of seats All other smart travellers, who obviously knew better than I to get in fast, get a seat, and sit, and stare at mobile phones, ipads, laptops.
Vibe; as a result of the increased numbers, I really felt like I should be drinking at 9am to overcome the sheer stress. However, due to the competition for seating, cocktails and coffee....(I mean, coffee made by the barista that is), the cool kiwi spirit vibe, is lost in the mayhem.
Value for money; being an avid traveller in business class, I do not think that this lounge is worth spending the hard-earned dollars of little old me on, therefore, Won't be visiting, unless I got a free invite to re-review the place again. In the interim, please recruit more staff for peak hours such as 9am - 5pm.
Not good enough Air New Zealand, I expected and deserved better.
3 out of 5.

This lounge has a really nice ambiance to it, it has decent food and drink option, I'm a big fan of the 'outdoor' area (although the roof wasn't opened during my visit), it has a really nice vibe to it. The sleeping pods are a nice touch as well, and unlike many other 'flagship' lounge in the region, *cough* VA, this lounge isn't crazily crowded and finding a seat is easy.
Q.
Got here during a weekday afternoon. Lounge was occupied but not heaving. Food was aplenty and the variety of drinks available seemed incredible to me. Food quality was good and staff service was impeccable. Would have appreciated a larger selection of hot food as a minor feedback.
S.
Great way to start a trip. Free food with a good selection. Loads of seats of all kinds. Good barista coffee you can order via the Air NZ app. A "fresh air" lounge on the far side, too. The toilets are clean, usually and sufficient in number almost every time. ;-)
Great view of the audience, too.
R.
Disappointing range of drinks. No Baileys, Kahlua , Sthn Comfort to name a few . Hardly what you'd expect from a Business Class lounge.
The buffet was luke warm however there was a good selection of meat and vegetarian options.
The Auckland lounge is far too small for the volume of people so it gets very very crowded at peak times making the experience less than perfect.
The positives. Friendly helpful staff in all areas of the lounge.
D.
Auckland international Koru lounge is a great place to kick off a trip overseas. Not being the best traveller I find my anxiety kicks in on the way to the airport but the lounge is well designed and has a relaxing atmosphere (when not overcrowded). Good amenities, food and very comfortable, makes being a frequent flyer with Air NZ worth it.
H.
One of the better Koru lounges along with Sydney..spacious and modern (although can be crowded during peak hours). Good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Reliable WiFi and printer if required. Would be better if there were more selection of hot food on offer with other premium airline lounges.
P.
Pleasant lounge with good facilities and seemingly plenty of food and beverage options. Great place to wait for your flight.
S.
Large lounge with lots of seating. Some chairs for sleeping. Reasonably good selection of food and drinks.
D.
Easy going lounge, worth spending time if you have access to it. Food are reasonably tasty with few available choices. Seats are often difficult to find during peak departure times.
P.
Excellant clean well set out, well appointed International Lounge. Needs to reduce the young children coming in as it deters from the quiet space to escape from the airport public spaces...
T.
Fantastic esp when you have a long layover. But regardless, it's excellent with great food and drink selections. The servers were great and quickly picked up used plates and silverware. Food and drinks were replinshed around the clock. They have a tv room, regular restrooms and bathrooms with showers.
M.
Auckland has the best koru lounge in my opinion. Lovely staff, very nice compartmentalized themes and a great spread. Very relaxing way to ease yourself into a long haul flight. Thanks New Zealand in air ;)
B.
Modern and spacious that stays true to Air New Zealand's commitment to providing indsutry-leading customer service. Strong contender for the best lounge anywhere in the world. Brilliant touches can be found in the outdoor patio (with a vertical garden), chaises longues for a quiet pre-flight kip and customised coffee ordering system. A rare instance of when you want to stay longer at the airport.
S.
Amazing after a long flight from LA Late flight, 8hr layover before flying to Gold Coast.. feel relaxed
P.
This lounge is very comfortable, the food is delicious, you have enough place for relax just before your flight. The staff is friendly and very professional, I also remarked that smiling face is usual on the lounge. You don't have announcements but it's really great because like this you are more in peace. The lavatory is really clean. I recommend this lounge. You will not be disappointed. With my personal experience, each time I stayed there I never had any problems. ENJOY
K.
Great service, friendly staff, wonderful food options. Worth getting a membership for!
M.
Great lounge. Very comfortable.
J.
Quiet, comfortable and relaxed. Love the new outdoor room. Be nice to have some craft beers.
B.
Nice large facility and still busy at certain times of the day. Comfortable chairs for relaxing plus generous table space for computer work and eating one of the more substantial meals available.
There is a good selection of NZ wines, including champagne, plus the usual liquors that one would expect. There are plenty of snack foods and more substantial cooked foods for those in a long layover.
Service was prompt and very friendly. No complaints about this location.
B.
Thx Air New Zealand team, who helped me to get to Hongkong, and then to Europe in crazy COVID times
Incredible dedication on a star Alliance ticket
Thx so much, may the future gets easier for your difficult business
Thx again 🥰
A.
I’m a big fan - spacious, generally good food options and some made fresh, large range of drinks. Has a barista and bar person also. Can watch TV on big screen and good WiFi. Very nice to attend before a long flight.
D.
It’s hard to beat the Air NZ Koru lounge. Always a nice place to recharge while traveling.
S.
large lounge good selection of seating but with a pretty average food selection that has lots of room for improvement. Could be closer to the gates... I'm beginning to wonder if there are more shops than planes! Can get a little too crowded just prior to the early morning flights. Great barista-served coffee. Friendly and helpful staff make up for the slight shortcomings, overall worth it!
J.
Can get overcrowded. I wish it had an area that was Gold Elite members only. Really clean. Food options are great. Staff were fantastic. We sort of take them for granted and when there's a disruption of some description we tend to incorrectly review them based on our outcome as opposed to their attentiveness and service.
L.
Big lounge with more than adequate buffet spread. Sliders were on offer on cook to order. Good range of beers mainly Mac's. And at least 10 different wines on offer as well as a few liquor options. They have bar so i guess they can make drinks on order. Views over the apron. It's very well maintained and staffs clearing dishes efficiently.
A.
Quiet a nice setup they have, friendly and helpful staff, food quality was pretty good but selection was sparse (no bacon at breakfast... Who doesn't have bacon available for breakfast?!). Wine selection could do better with a little more research - but that's being rather picky. Still a good place to relax before a flight and decently priced if you had to pay to go in.
J.
One on the nicest global airport clubs I have been in.. Very clean and nice snacks.
P.
It takes a lot of economy travel to gain access to the Lounge, but it makes the pre flight wait much less tedious. The food is good, sometimes even great. The ability to go and get what you want, when you want is a luxury that makes traveling so much easier. The Staff are friendly and helpful, they do us proud as great ambassadors for our country. Thank you Air New Zealand.
W.
Staff are always so obliging at the lounges. I am grateful for the refreshments that are provided and they satisfy and fill a gap while transiting. However, there never seems to be enough areas to relax in, at busy times we often find ourselves having to sit in the eating area.
J.
Mostly comfortable. Some plates were dirty. Decent barista made coffee. Not enough comfy seating, but plenty of power points to charge your devices. Food is decent but not spectacular.
A.
The staff are great as is the atmosphere however the food does leave a little bit to be desired. They had a pork dish which my husband had however what he thought was a nice bit of meat turned out to be fat. Very off putting & they bought around some dish which was a turnip with a beetroot puree & the people next to us said it wasn't very nice at all.
D.
This place is so nice you can be a little bummed you have to leave when your flight is called. Outdoor area is really nice and if you get a nice breeze on a hot day, just add a beer and you can hang out there all day without a worry. Food is always good and coffee orders are easy via the tablet.
J.
A solid lounge experience, with great views over the gates and the runway. Decent barista coffee and a good selection at breakfast was a pleasant surprise. There were smoothie shots, little pots of sticky rice with fruits, a good hot food selection and eggs Benedict being cooked to order. Busy at 6am, but the staff worked quickly to clean the lounge.
N.
This is a nice, modern international lounge. Food selection is excellent, and the bar is fantastic too, including bespoke coffee service. Self-serve bar is also top-notch, with tons of selection
Lounge seating is varied and comfortable, with plenty of selection for type of seat you want. The lounge can get a bit crowded at rush times.
K.
Koru Lounge never ceases to be the best lounge in Auckland International Airport (not to mention in most other large Air New Zealand hubs).
O.
It's ok. Breakfast offerings same as domestic lounge. A little disappointing that not more variety in the hot options available. Otherwise, staff very attentive, coffee excellent. And clean and fresh. Bot crowded early Saturday morning.
I.
What's not to like when there's an evening musician and a cocktail menu to browse? Yes it can get busy but if folk simply act with respect there's no problem. I've been interested to see some pretty negative reactions at busy times but honestly no one is forcing anyone to stay, if you can't cope then withdraw gracefully. I still consider even a full lounge a better prospect than the alternative!
J.
It's honestly just travel nirvana. Free food, water, alcohol, WiFi. Staff are friendly and polite, and the seats are comfy.
They let you bring a friend, but you won't want to so you can have the dessert buffet to yourself.
S.
We had a very relaxing experience in the Auckland lounge before our London trip. I was pleased to see allergies listed on all food and a good selection too. We enjoyed the respite before our long journey, thank you for that.
R.
It's a great way to chill out in a safe and comfortable environment while you wait for your plane. Coffee is fine, food isn't bad, you can pop out and shop around and come back. The new lounge is much better, plenty of power and space.
J.
Great staff and lovely selection of foods including Vegan, DF and GF.
J.
The lounge is great. Was packed with people when we were there the last time but the food was great, the layout gives you space to yourself even when packed. Would like to see a little kids area like in the Sydney one. If there is one we didn't find it.
K.
Recently renovated to include a number of different seating options, this spacious relaxing lounge is a great place to chill out before you flight. The buffet was excellent - the range of food and drink was great and really tasty - I'll be dreaming of that sweet potato soup for weeks. Very helpful friendly staff.
E.
I have nothing but praise for Air New Zealand Auckland International Lounge whether travelling for business or with family. The location of the lounge makes it easier, which is located after the duty-free shopping atrium. The lounge was refurbished in late 2015; hence it has a sleek, modern and welcoming design including its lounge seating. Love the catering of delicious and healthy options, as my child labelled it 'the grabbing place'. The customer service is excellent; the Air NZ Lounge staff are friendly, warm and accommodating.
Last but not least, I appreciate their family-friendly facilities like the area for children. It gives us parents a stress-free time during stopovers.
T.
A great lounge and one of my favourites. Quality furnishings, food, drink and service but remains unpretentious. The outdoor area is very nicely done and feels like you're still inside. The coffee order via the AirNZ app is a surprisingly useful feature.
K.
The best thing about this lounge is the chef who hangs out making fresh food while you're there, so you can get little plates of French toast or bao!
The coffee here is also fantastic and it's well worth raiding the choc chip cookie jar as they are delicious.
Showers are brilliant too if you are in need, and even when the lounge has been full I've never had to wait.
P.
Great place to unwind and relax before a flight. The food is nowhere near the quality if Sydney or Melbourne. For someone who has a cheese allergy having all the choices of food smothered in cheese every visit is disappointing.
It also gets far too busy, with kids running around and screaming during the holidays. Overall it's a good experience, and the staff are friendly.
S.
You can order fresh barista-made coffees. I was pleasantly surprised that every espresso I had there was perfectly made.
Plenty of food options, charging points, different table setups for singles and families.
S.
Nice views over the airstrip. Plenty of seats and generous buffet
M.
This first class lounge was beautiful. They plenty of different kinds of food. They had all the alcohol anyone could want. My mom had a wheelchair, and they came and got us and took us to our flight.
P.
I think the lounge is well laid out and comfortable enough with all the sort of food and drink you would normally expect in a business lounge. Only it's become crowded like most airport facilities all over the world. It looks like some sort of refurbishment is taking place so hopefully this means expanding the lounge. It's my only criticism
R.
Reasonable lounge with nothing special to rave about. Limited selection of hot food but it is of decent taste and is cooked on the spot.
Large venue so not overly crowded on a Sunday afternoon.
RT 26/7/18
E.
Much bigger after the upgrade, it has a great area design for parents with kids. There's TV toys and high chair. Also some sofa for naps and an sun room area great for a group to hang out. Wish there were more choices on food.
C.
Nice and relaxing, good food, and coffee to order
T.
Always is a little more pleasant place to wait for a flight here than the gate. Food can be good but varies depending on what time of day you are there. It can be very crowded but again it depends on time of day and it seems Air NZ are aware of this and so it might improve.
D.
I have visited a fair number of airline lounges. This is by far the best one I have ever been in. It is large, but not cavernous. It had an excellent buffet, and a fully tended bar. There were power outlets all around, in convenient locations.
Definitely the best.
A.
Great airport lounge. Well staffed, stocked and beautiful food with in lounge chefs preparing fresh food all the time. Wifi coffee ordering and perfect cup of coffee delivered withing 2 minutes.
K.
Front of House ladies were amazing. Slight delay on departure saw us spend more time in the lounge where the selection of food was excellent. The stir fry prepared by the chefs was tres superb. Well worth the value of my Koru membership in times like this.
M.
This lounge is certainly one of the best lounges ever built for airports. Easily accessible, sleek modern Designs with warm colors, easy WiFi access, great food, good wine and tasty menu items that will help quench your thirst and fill your stomach prior to getting in the flight. It's super clean and super easy to get into. The U.S. can certainly take a page out of their playbook especially in technology getting into and out of the airport was a breeze! A++. There's nothing like it!
S.
Good selection of food and beverages. Friendly staff at the bar.
T.
Always an enjoyable experience to have while waiting to head overseas. Staff are always helpful and the facilities are great. Food is alright not like other lounges but this is busier than most in Auckland. Good selection of drinks and quality wines and barista coffee available.
A.
Good food and drinks, an easy way to travel. First time using Koru, much better than hanging around the terminal. But, the seating could be better and there seems to be a lot of families/children using the lounge, which other reviewers have noted.
S.
This is a nice lounge. Really nice. Food, view, decor, staff: all great New Zealand (i.e. high) standard. Only drawback is it's quite a long walk from some of the gates, but that only drops it from 6 stars down to 5!
H.
One of the best international lounges globally. Great food selection, quality barista coffee, ample drinks on offer. Plenty of seating, showers available, children's area, entertainment area, viewing deck.
Only downside is it's use by all Star alliance airlines which can overload it at times.
C.
Great start to any flight, koru lounge staff always treat you with a smile. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the coffee can bit a bit hit n miss. Not often, but sometimes. Do enjoy the scrambled egg though on those early morning flights!
N.
Good lounge overall, bit busy but makes decent coffee and ordering with app is useful. Food is reasonable. Not really special but definitely better than being in the general terminal
H.
I'm still star alliance gold tier, and everytime I fly I go to this lounge. It is one of the best I have visited. There are many food options, including vegan and a great beer selection
J.
Nice place to rest before a flight but the food could be a little higher quality. If your looking for something filling, best get it from downstairs
The views are 10 out of 10 amazing !!
S.
Always great. Normally have a good selection of food. Great drink selection, both hot and cold. Showers available and plenty of seating options. Fantastic.
J.
Best sanctuary at Auckland Airport. Escape the masses, food, wine and coffee is amazing! Can get busy at peak commuter travellers times, but the energy and buzz is part of the experience. The friendly staff and great service well and truly make up for any gripes with the number of people in the lounge during peak times.
Best Rocky Road on the planet is served in the Air New Zealand Lounge as well!!
R.
Usually great but all I wanted for our morning flight was coffee and the machine wasn't working. It ran out of milk, then when the milk was replaced it wasnt heated and overflowed. So a very long wait for a small coffee. Otherwise all good.

One of the best international lounges I've been to.
A great example of customer service.
Amazing ambiance supported by great interior and wall decor. Most of it is filled with dim lightening and there are corners with good lightening in case you need that.
Good food selection clearly marked with dietary specifications. Food itself is well prepared and delicious.
Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable around beverages and edibles.
Offers buffet or all-you-can-eat. There is a bar which offers good choice of non-alcoholic drinks as well.
Spacious seating and different seating arrangements for people with different needs. In fact there is place to lie down in case you want to straighten your back.
The open seating area at back provides peaceful and relaxed atmosphere which is created to appear close to the nature with vertical cover of greens over walls.
Free Wi-fi is available at this location. Shower facility is available as well.
Can get crowded at times but there is seat for everyone.
Enjoyed the experience.
S.
One of the stunning lounges I've been. Great selection of food
H.
Good as always. Managed to find a nice soot while waiting for my flight. The only issue I had was with one staff member noisily dumping ice from the icemaker into buckets right next to where I was and acted more like she belonged working at McDonald's.
M.
Well presented and very organised..food is fresh, coffee on the go and an abundance of a variety of drinks available... so clean you barely put your cup down and it gets whisked away
M.
Lounge is spacious and modern. However, food selection can be improved. Some facilities (such as the main door to washrooms) can be repainted.
R.
International lounge the best - professional airline and associated lounge - decor wonderful with differently themed zones to suit all level of customers whether it be leisure or business. Full range of facilities, open bar arrangement - great food arrangements for quick bites and larger style smorgasbord style meals - free wifi and access to all business printing needs
N.
Always great to be able to come here. Food and drinks are good and well presented. It can get quite busy when there are alot of flights and then it loses its lounge feeling.
V.
The flagship lounge for air new Zealand. Great service and a really wide range of choices for food and drinks. Showers are tucked away but Clean and tidy. Plenty of staff and also good views of planes arriving and leaving.
J.
The Auckland International Terminal's Koru Club is exceptional in nearly every regard. The staff are friendly, the comfort level is excellent and the bar is well stocked for those lengthy stays. The food is generally good but the options can be limited depending on the time of day. Facilities for meetings are also limited so keep that in mind if you intend to do a work call or two at the airport.
M.
Wow. This lounge is way up there for airline lounges. Plenty seating with so much variety, an outdoor section, a cocktail bar, plus amazing NZ wines and beer selection. The food selection is the best of any airline lounge, delicious and maany healthy options available.
N.
Quite spacious with a variety of seating. Showers available and a bar. Freshly prepared entrees, selection of cheeses and salads. Quite far from gates for US-bound flights.
J.
The lounge is a great place to relax while awaiting your flight. The foods, drinks and desserts were excellent. Friendly staff too.
D.
Wonderful lounge with a large variety of wines, spirits, coffees, and a food buffet. There are multiple seating options for dining to lounging. Probably the best airline lounge I've ever been in!
A.
Comfortable lounge. Friendly, helpful staff. Great view of the passing air traffic for plane watchers. Good selection of food and beverage. Espresso coffees!!!
M.
This lounge is nice and what you’d expect from a pay to enter lounge. However it is often quite messy with food being on the floor and the occasional wet seat. All things considered you get what you pay for.
S.
Always clean and tidy. Food well presented and tasty. Indulged in bubbles for breakfast to start the holiday. Plenty of space for all customers. A good experience
D.
I spent 9 hours in this well appointed lounge.
A good mix of seating for short or longer visits. Attentive staff good snacks and drinks.
M.
We were delayed by an airport emergency while in the lounge. The staff kept us informed and comfortable, making the best of a bad situation. As in Wellington, the food and drinks were excellent.
P.
Air New Zealand is right up with most good airline lounges. However the seating is barely adequate. They should be a little better with enforcing a better standard of dress code.
Air NZ should also look at the United Polaris lounge in San Fran, this is excellent.
C.
Love this lounge. Plenty of seats. Would like to see more charging ports though. Always a good selection of food. Staff are friendly.
T.
Whilst it can get busy during peak flying period there are lots of seats and a plentiful supply of food and drinks on hand to fill in the time between check-in and boarding.
B.
Always excellent. A great spot to relax and unwind before a long journey. Clean, great food and friendly staff.
D.
Great when it's not busy, frantic when it is. Good selection of hot and cold foods with live station during meal times. Barista coffee a definite bonus.
E.
Plenty of space and different zone to relax. Food options great and chefs cooking fresh breakfasts is welcome.
P.
The KORU Lounges in the larger and busier centers are simply brilliant. Clean.. very well designed and excellant food choices..... Well worth the joining fee if your a frequent AIR NZ traveller...
R.
Good, medium quality frequent flyer lounge. Not the standard of a business class lounge, and lacking the amenities of a first class lounge, however, air New Zealand doesn't support first class anymore, anywhere.
M.
Polite staff. Quick turn around of food keeps the crowds flowing. But mad with the school holidays but well handled. Bathrooms clean.
I.
Very spacious including a theatre like room. Showers facility, wifi and buffet style dining and bar service available. Good place to start holiday.
C.
Love being able to rest, take stock and prepare for my travels here. It can get pretty busy and the food can be a bit average but the drinks are good and staff are fine.
J.
Pleasant lounge can be crowded perhaps small trolley to carry plates drinks etc not a large selection of cooked breakfasts and big queues for poached eggs nice service from young ladies clearing tables not an easy job.
C.
Great place to spend some time before a flight if you have membership (or know someone that does). It wasn't too crowded and the staff were very friendly
C.
Fantastic breakfast this morning, thank you for yet another wonderful experience! Plenty of room to relax or sleep off your meal before flight. 😊
K.
Great location to see the planes. Love the fact they have hot and cold dishes. Very nicely managed and a good selection of local craft beer.
R.
Quite busy, however, attentive staff made sure there was fresh food and clean and clear tables. Very enjoyable wait for my flight.
J.
Food was great. Ordering coffee through the app was a novelty. Good range of drinks available both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
R.
What a lovely lounge. Plenty of delicious food and freaky people from your past to run into. Last chance to score a decent flat white before you leave NZ.
A.
Great food and service. The place is very modern and always tidy with the scent of warm good food. Love going there whenever I travel.
B.
Very nice lounge with good food. Can get crowded if you're unfortunate to be using the facilities in peak hour.
M.
large facility with a good amount of seating, has light food choices, drinks and a few snacks. did get crowded in the evening around the international departures time frame
T.
Not surprisingly one of the best Koru lounges. Located in Air New Zealand’s main hub, Auckland International Airport, this lounge has bar, barista and food offerings right up until the last NZ flight out. The food is generally of good quality and availability. The lounge offers views over the runways and southbound towards the harbour. Recently has become more busy but I've always found space ahead of evening flights. Of note, if you are entering as a Star Alliance gold holder then this ff membership / number must be on the ticket issued or you risk being declined entry.
A.
Great facilities and services at the Lounge. Unfortunately if you are transitting in Auckland Airport past midnight you will not be able to use the lounge because they're closed.
H.
Large lounge... Good selection of drinks. OK selection of food. Was pretty crowded when I was there. I personally think the new Strata Lounge is better.
J.
Spacious lounge with many seating options and relatively good service. Food not too extravagant but better than most and adequate self service bars together with a full service bar.
T.
Had everything I could possibly want, including showers. Food was good, good drinks choices. Good, not best in class.
D.
Comfortable and relaxing lounge. Food selection not too bad. I like the different seating areas to choose from.
S.
Since I live in Queenstown this was my first time in the Koru Lounge in Auckland.
The checkin was marvelous and I was through and to the lounge in no time. Previously I have used the Emperor Lounge but the AirNZ lounge is quite superior.
A great selection of food (root veggie soup) and then more substantial fare as we got to dinnertime. Large selection of gluten free as well.
I was able to print out my bus ticket that I needed when I landed and the seating was comfy and plentiful.
I also was most grateful for the charging station as I was able to top up my phone completely for the first time in days.
g.
Amazing coffee! But the lounge was very crowded. Fewer people in the rest of the airport than in the lounge. Food was good.
P.
Average lounge with limited food selection but have many beers and wine selection. There is shower room to freshen up before a Long flight
M.
No Cathay Pacific lounge (which I consider the pinnacle of lounge service) and regularly overcrowded as Air NZ sells access to its lounges for an annual fee. Having said that, it's still a very good lounge and they have excellent wine!
M.
Nice lounge. Great design and comfort, unfortunately sometimes is very packed... lot's of people make the experience not as nice..
D.
One of the better air nz lounges in my opinion.
The food and mocktails were amazing and there is a great kids area just by the showers.
M.
great food and friendly welcoming staff fresh and fast coffee and was nice sitting in the quiet while waiting for flights ect and being able to use clean facilities at the airport which can sometimes be a struggle ! Thankyou Air NZ
A.
Nice lounge with good food, open bar, seasonal goodies and wifi. Even showers and a place for kids to play! Perfect place for a long layover.
R.
The lounge is large with lots of seats to choose from but it fills up real quickly. If you need to sleep, look for the lounge chairs somewhere at the back.
D.
Great lounge especially in the early hours when the lounge is still relatively empty. Great food and drink options, along with kiwi hospitality.
T.
Food is a bit of let down, everything else has improved but catering lacks flair.
Overall they provide a good level of service.
L.
Really good food and drink, nice place to go when you have a couple of hours until your flight.
C.
A HUGE step up from United's meager, messy, and often overcrowded international lounges in airports like SFO and IAD. If you're Star Alliance Gold you should have access at AKL. Enjoy the spaciousness and the good and interesting food and beverages on offer. If you need a shower, they have that, too!
F.
Very peaceful when we were there. Food lovely Husband slept for two ohours in the comfy chairs in front of TV
L.
Thankfully not a busy travel day so lots of room. Great food on offer & lovely drinks selection.
M.
Nice lounge. Everything you need although the food options were limited, I suspect due to the mid morning (between breakfast and lunch) timing we were there
A.
Great lounge when it's not too packed. Food can be a bit patchy but generally ok.
A.
Koru club is one of the better lounges, good selection of food and kiwis beers. The barista is great for a coffee when it's an early flight
C.
Fantastic lounge with great food, drinks, and comfortable seating. Service is top notch and the ambiance is relaxing.
A.
Love the food and amazing hospitality. So many options for drinks and coffee is one of the best.
C.
Great, never fails to impress. Great range of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. Team much friendlier than the Cabin Crew.
M.
A nice, comfortable lounge with a good food selection. However it is often very crowded which detracts from the experience
G.
An amazing experience and a totally different way to go through the airport. Incredible food, wonderful staff and one of the highlights of our honeymoon!
J.
Great when it's empty, not so when full... Expect massive lines for hot menu items and/or coffee during peak times.
C.
Often a bit crowded, and could use more food options, but still a great place to chill out.
Z.
Best food, staff, views, amenities and environment of the many lounges I have been to across the world to relax in before takeoff.
T.
Awesome. Hands down better than Qantas club and virgin lounges. Air NZ continue to impress me. If only they flew the Sydney - Melbourne route!

It's a lounge where you can stay out of slime of the maddening crowd. Still get families that allow kids to run amok and crowds personal space.
S.

Good variety of food and places to sit although very full.
G.
Very spacious, clean, great variety of food and drinks to chose from. Showers for a quick change.
M.
Quite a few people in there when we arrived and almost no food left. Was clean and tidy but not the best experience we have had.
M.
food was good but too many kids allowed to run around , scream and generally do whatever they like...which makes doing business a bit tricky
R.
Air NZ lounges are very good in the main centres. Quite comfortable, clean very good service. They get very busy at peak times.
m.
Quick dash in before boarding our flight. Great range of food for breakfast and great range of beverages.
