Booked the Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves tour. Our driver and guide, Tyler, was super nice and knowledgeable. He gave us tips for having the best experience in Hobbiton and the caves. Being a kiwi, he also gave us restaurant suggestions for later that night which proved quite good. The lunch provided on the tour was delicious as well. It's important to note that the day of our tour it rained all day, but the experience was still wonderful sinceTyler had umbrellas for us and the staff at Hobbiton were pros and use to the rain.

My partner and I booked the Hobbiton and Glowworm package. What an amazing day! Both my partner and I are massive LOTR fans. We had a blast! All three your guides were fun, engaging and made us feel comfortable all the time! If you can, ask for Sunny at Hobbiton. He was exceptional. For the day, we had Matt as our tour guide. He drive us everywhere, took us to lunch and morning tea and home at the end of the day. He was a delightful man and guide! Very knowledgeable, kind, engaging and funny. Mu partner and I really had a great time with him! It was a shame to leave the tour group at the end of the day. 10/10 would recommend. Of you're visiting Auckland and you have a day (6:40am-7pm), please, do yourself a favour and book this trip!

We have just recently done the Auckland wine tour for my partners birthday and we were blown away!! From start to finish the whole tour was amazing, David our tour guide was great company and really knew his stuff. The winerys we visited were beautiful and we even ended up tasting several extras at each place we visited for no extra cost. If your looking for a great way to spend a day in Auckland you can't go past this tour, we will definitely be doing it again soon.

I booked the Hobbiton Movie Set guided tour and I was absolutely blown away. Such amazing service. I was picked up outside my apartment and driven to Matamata and back home. All of the routes were through scenic areas which added to the experience. What made it even better was the amazing tour guide, David, who went above and beyond to provide the best journey experience. I learned so much about New Zealand as David would tell me facts about all of the areas we drove through. Additionally, David also gave me some amazing tips for when I got to Hobbiton which would make the experience so much better! If I could give this tour a higher rating I would. I will definitely be booking more tours with this company in the future.

Wonderful company to book a tour with, they were efficient, professional, kept you up to date with everything going on and very friendly. Our guide Dwayne was great at making sure everybody was comfortable and having a good time, he was really good at his job. The tour its self is such an amazingly fun day, Hobbiton is so worth it and the glow worm caves are a must do.

We went on a West Auckland Wine Tour with Auckland Scenic Tours a couple of weeks ago and it was AMAZING! It included tastings at four West Auckland wineries, two course lunch and a glass of wine making it great value we were so impressed. Mike was very knowledgeable and helpful and just fun to be around. He even dropped us into Kingsland afterwards. Such a nice alternative to Waiheke Wine Tours and I absolutely loved Westbrook Winery the scenery was amazing. Will definitely be doing this again. Thanks team!

They did an amazing job making Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves that much better. Alex was on time and on point. He got us where we needed to be, kept us informed, and entertained us with his knowledge of all things New Zealand. Alex did a great job. Before the tour I received multiple emails from the company telling me when and where I would be picked up and when and where I would be dropped off. They took care of all the logistics at each tour spot and Alex even took pictures of us. Highly recommend this tour.

David was the guide. He was funny and extremely knowledgeable of New Zealand. Drive up was smooth even in heavy fog. We beat the queues in Hobbiton and had the best pictures and weather. It was a special experience. Then waitomo caves were unique and remarkable. Drive back had minor traffic and overall it was a very good experience!

Excellent day! Excellent tour. They were on time picking us up at our hotel as promised. They contacted us multiple times in advance to provide critical info about where they would pick us up and where they would drop us off. They were on schedule all day and had us where we were supposed to be within minutes of the promised time. As an added bonus we had Alex as our driver and tour guide. He was funny, personable, knowledgeable, and helpful. He read the bus and kept us informed and entertained when appropriate or quietly drove to the next destination when it seemed more suited. Hobbiton and Waitomo were amazing and using Auckland Scenic Tours made it that much better.

My wife and I did the full day hobbiton and glow worm cave tour from Auckland. Alex was our tour guide. Alex was amazing! very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful taking photos for us and making sure we had everything we needed. Worth every penny!

We did the Hobbiton tour with going to the Waitomo glow worm caves as well. We absolutely loved it! The sights and experience was awesome. Our tour guide, Louise was amazing and did a great job at pointing stuff out in the North Island during our drive. 100% worth it, and would highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Amazing day touring Hobbiton and Waitomo with Matt our guide and driver. Polite, kind, funny, and general all round nice fella, he collected us on time, kept us informed, took interest in every guest and got us there and back in one piece. The bus was comfortable and spacious. The group wasnt big. Getting to Hobbiton first thing was a big advantage. Lunch was good quality and had plenty of options. Waitomo was out of this world. I hope to come back to AKL again and will consider this company again in a heartbeat

Our group of 5 purchased the half day tour with Auckland Scenic Tours and experienced one of the most fabulous tours in New Zeland. We visited three sites all consisting of views of New Zealand's beautiful waters, magnificent mountains, waterfalls, beaches. The day was chock full of learning so much of New Zealand's eco-system, plant life, and their volcanic laden black beaches. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting. Our day started with him picking us up at our hotel and dropping us off five hours later. We all took great pictures and the memories will continue for a lifetime.

David, our tour guide, was very generous in sharing information. He is an excellent guide and a careful driver.

Lovely ride around the islands with a delightful captain/narrator. We lucked into a perfect weather day. And the captain was able to slide our large vessel through the "Hole" with no mishap!

Highly recommended, Nick from A.S.T was an incredible guide, extremely helpful with his advice - be it knowledge re: history of the area, personal anecdotes relating to the conversation and all-round great banter. VISIT: end of February 2020 TOUR: Hobbiton Movie Set/Waitomo Glowworm Caves Day Trip TOUR GUIDE: 5 stars ACCOMODATING: 5 stars The tour guide was able to pick is up from our hotel and showed up on time with no hiccups. I wish I remembered his name because he was so friendly throughout the entire day and it was an EARLY morning and late night. Mostly, he took care of us, knew exactly who was in his tour group and made sure everyone got where they needed to be. In fact, he did amazing and facilitating finding a better seat for my husband as he was starting to get cramped by the end of the trip with his long legs. I 100% will book with them again HOBBITON TOUR: 100% worth it. I thought this would be cool to see, but nothing prepared me for how absolutely breathtakingly beautiful this would be! (see my review on Hobbiton for more detail) WAITAMO GLOWWORM CAVES were great and definitely not something we would get to see in America, but it's not the TOP things on my list that we did in New Zealand (like Hobbiton was). So, if you're limited on time, I think just the Hobbiton tour would be good. I just feel like if you missed the caves than no big deal
