Had a great time on this trip. Don't let the Jucy name throw you off. The boat was probably the best setup of the fleet at the dock (every operator is pretty similar) and had a great crew on board! Would highly recommend 😊

We had put our expectations low as the price was so great, but this was amazing! Obviously it is different in different weather conditions but we loved the sunshine, the waterfalls, and the captain took us right out into the sea because it was so calm. Staff were amazing! Jasmine and Ryan were very friendly and helpful explaining different sights and knowledge. The captain was humorous and informative and it felt very much like a happy team of staff😁 thanks for the best trip ever, highly recommend jucy tours of Milford sound(disclaimer: I did not take the bus,we drove, so I have no experience of that side)

Had an enjoyable day with Jucy's Milford Sound Day Trip. Eric The Knowledgeable Frenchman, entertained us during the bus ride with exciting native stories and attractions explanation. Eric's a very experienced and safe driver. Highly recommended.

We just did the Milford Sounds cruse starting from Queenstown! Our Bus driver was amazing, gave hilarious commentary and kept us entertained to make the long bus ride seem short. Stopping at some great photo spots on our way to Milford Sounds and giving interesting and relevant information. Highly recommend doing the trip. Definately worth committing a day to.

Booked our tickets for the Milford Sound cruise the night before, quick and easy process! Ryan was a great captain and tour guide. Boat was lovely and clean! Absolutely enjoyed our time on the water and would be able to use these services again. Thanks for an awesome experience Jucy 💚

Really great tour with Jucy to Milford Sound! It’s long but the buses are spacious with bathroom & snack stops. Food on board at the Pita Pit that was included with delicious, and the boat was very nice. I did sunriser and it seemed far less crowded! Great value for what you get! Highly recommend!

Took the Jucy bus charter through Fiordland with their driver Carl, who was a 15 out of 10 on commentary and stops. He has a wealth of knowledge on surrounding landscapes and I was captivated the entire time. Boarded the Jucy Cruise at 1:45pm and the staff were just as amazing. The cruise was breath taking, and I regret taking the 20min inside to eat because I feel like even a moment missed is disappointing haha Absolutely would do it again. Everyone should do the bus charter at least once for the commentary.

Amazing cruise, really great trip! We had a wonderful comfortable journey down to milford with plenty of stops along the way (enough to stretch your legs) Excellent informative driver and felt very safe with him i think his name was brett/brian :) Would recommend this to everyone! We had amazing waterfalls and took some epics pictures. The girls on the cruise made it very exciting getting wet under the waterfalls and helping taking pictures for us. Yummy pie and chocolate bar was provided also. Amazing place to go and will remember for life. Thank you jucy!!

Been living in New Zealand for many years but hadn't been to the South Island. We decided to go down south and chose Juicy Cruise from Queenstown. Got picked up in their taxi to the Coach bus and headed off to Milford Sounds. Just an amazing experience in the Coach bus itself. The driver Jovan was knowledgeable, professional and smooth driving. Then to the boat skipper at Milford Sounds. Amazing guy which happen to be from Auckland. Had a bit of chat with him as he educated me with some area knowledge. Best value for money I've spent.

I went with Juicy cruise to Milford sound and the driver for the day was Wayne. He had a vast knowledge about the area. He was very passionate about the nature. He gave the in depth history about how the places along the Milford road got their names. There was a massive delay with the avalanches happened on the road, but he was determined to take to the destination safely. He made sure every passenger got on board from at every stop. Thank you Wayne I had a great time on my trip to Milford sound! :)

Everything about the jucy tour to Milford sounds was great, it was a great price and excellent service. The bus has a glass roof so you can see the mountains as you drive!! All the staff we interacted with were honestly top top notch, from in the Queenstown office, to the boat staff to, and, most importantly!!! Wayne our driver/tour guide. Oh my god Wayne has been working in such a variety of jobs in the sounds for decades, the amount of history he knows and not only that but knowledge about plants and birds is amazing. He could honestly write a book. Plus he makes a lot of dad jokes on the way AND gives a good amount of quiet time on the drive too. Never lose Wayne he is such an asset!

Our driver/guide Eric was funny, friendly and knowledgeable, and a handy bus driver too. He made sure we got to see as much as possible on our beautiful journey to Milford Sound. The cruise was great, although quite busy, and allowed you to see all of Milford Sound. It was a fantastic experience.

Did the cruise to Milford Sound via the glass ceiling bus from Queenstown. Great fun and beautiful scenery. Only downfall is if you're travelling with a partner there is a chance you may not get to sit next to them as there is no real seating arrangement. Luckily this didn't happen to my partner and I however it did happen to others. Still great fun however. Bus driver was very good and the actual cruise was also amazing.

My partner and I had a fantastic time on this cruise. Our driver Wayne was great, he always had something interesting to say about the surroundings on our drive to Milford Sound. Not only this, but he spoke about being actively involved in the work building the surrouding infrastructure to Milford Sound, and had a lot of great stories and insight. Wayne also chose some great photo stops on our way to and from the sound, with all of this making the trip go much faster than we would have thought. The cruise itself was great and the Pita Pit was delicious. Thanks Wayne and Jucy for a great trip.

Good points: The place is clean, well located and the staffs are friendly. Bad points: the bed + pillows are really disappointed because all you want for a Holiday is a good rest after all activities of the day. We couldn't rest properly, lots of backache , waking UP during the night.

We had a lovely day on the Jucy coach-cruise-coach to Milford sound. Our driver Gareth was an awesome driver, very knowledgeable and his commentary made the long long trip interesting and tolerable all the way to Milford sound and back to Queenstown. Once we got to Milford sound dock we jumped on the Jucy Gem of sound cruise boat and it was great! Highly recommend JUCY for anyone who is travelling to Milford sound.

Really good experience in Milford Sound on the 8:55am cruise. We've got the deal 45$pp including juice, tea and a small cake. The captain was good at explaining the surroundings, telling history and stating interesting facts. Furthermore, we got really close to waterfalls and seals - amazing handling of the captain. The ship is well designed aswell - three flours with lots of windows. Toilets are available aswell. So all in all a top experience - one you shouldn't miss in New Zealand.

A friend and I travelled Jucy Cruise from Queenstown and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our guide on the coach was hilarious and very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas. It was also fantastic stopping at all the popular areas along the way for the photo ops. Thought the glass top roof was an awesome idea as you truly get a spectacular view of all the mountains driving through the valley. The cruise itself we loved as again the guide was very knowledgeable, however one thing I noticed - there wasn't many food options on board. Having the TVs on board the coach for the drive back to Queenstown certainly helped pass the time as everyone was feeling very tired towards the end of the day. Overall had a really enjoyable day, 10/10 would reccomend!

Super coach and cruise with Jucy. We started from Queenstown on the Gem tour. Plenty of stops on the way to Milford Sounds and a lunch break at Te Anau. The journey is long but is compensated with the beautiful scenery and lookouts on the way. Brenden our driver was great and gave us information along the way, as well as a joke or two. The cruise is 90 mins on a very modern boat. It's a really long journey but if your budget allows, you can fly back to Queenstown. I would certainly recommend this trip.

Had a cruise through Milford Sound with JUCY. What a fantastic experience, apart from a little bit of overcast drizzle it was a brilliant day. The only downside I can say is that the “Gourmet dinner” was kind of lacklustre and the bus journey was just moronically long but that was completely overshadowed by the sound itself.

Jucy Cruises did a great job at showing off the amazing and beautiful sights of Milford Sound. Don't be fooled by the fact this cruise is cheaper than others available in Milford Sound. Once checked-in, you are provided a free brunch coupon for a bacon and vegetable slice (vegetarian also available), and tea\coffee making facilities also available. A kiosk also sits on the middle deck of the boat. Our 8:55am cruise only had about 40 people on board, I think because Milford Sound is such a long drive from any town, that most people opt for the later 10:55am cruise. We drove 4hrs from Queenstown, leaving at 4:30am to be there. With a 2hr cruise, the boat is steered around the sound, up to waterfalls and the cliff faces. We were even fortunate enough to spot yellow crested penguins in the water, as well as seals. Our captain provided commentary during the cruise too. There are toilet facilities at the marina, as well as the discovery center, this center also being the only option for food in the area, due to it's remote nature. Wifi\Mobile coverage is not available in this area.

Picked us up in the downtown area. They showed up 5 min ahead of schedule which was nice. Our tour guide for the day was Carlos. He was really nice and an okay tour guide I think. After we confirmed our party name and proof of purchase (email is acceptable), we boarded the coach and proceeded to pick up other passengers from different pick up locations (i think a total of 3 other locations). After that we headed to Te Anau. The pit stop was at Hollyford Cafe. A nice place with 2 restroom areas, a gift shop, and a cafe to buy coffee, hot chocolate, water, juices, and various baked goods. This place even has a currency exchange office. The coffee was decent. One of the baked goods that we had was the egg mcmuffin, the bread was really tough and dry. I would stay away from this. After the pit stop here you drive towards Milford sound Piopiotahi Coach and Cruise area. Basically the driver will stop at Mirror lake and another spot for you to take photos. The cruise was very comfortable. We had provided lunch and water and tea. If you wanted something else to drink, you would have to purchase it. I think to pick between the various cruise companies is what you want to eat. Do you want your ticket to include the meal or not. I know of another cruise ship where the meal is separate and only for purchase. From what it looked like, all the ships took the same route around Milford sound. Just staggered launching times. After the boat cruise you go back to the same area and the coach bus takes you back to Queenstown. It's a really long day. If I had to do this again, I would stay at Milford Sound so I can take photos of sunset and sunrise, but that would be the only reason why. If you don't care for those, then take the cruise. When we went, the weather was excellent, sunny and clear skies. Unfortunately, I would have preferred it to be cloudy or overcast because the sun was too bright to take photos well, lighting was too harsh.

Wayne is the BEST driver in the whole of New Zealand! My partner and I went on the sunriser Milford sound tour, and Wayne provided insightful, entertaining commentary basically the entire time. He knew heaps as he had lived in the region most of his life, working on projects around the Milford sound area. Even when the churchy American tourist group wanted pictures even though we had to keep going, Wayne would patiently wait for them. He put on the best NZ film ever, Whale Rider, and even noticed how enthusiastically I mumbled to the David Bowie songs on the radio so he mentioned to me how much he enjoyed the 1973 concert he went to of his. Reading reviews I see how people love leaving reviews for Eric the driver, but I think its time that WAYNE got some love!

My wife and I enjoyed every moment of this trip. Rain was forecast for the day we were scheduled to go. We considered rescheduling, but that would've been a massive mistake! Instead we were treated to whole mountainsides of waterfalls. Simon, our driver, was nothing short of amazing. He clearly has a great understanding of history, geology, and ecology of the region. I don't recall our Captain's name but he was also informative. If you're concerned about wind, take note we experienced gusts of over 60 knots with no I'll effects (aside from a few lost ponchos). The entire trip was one great adventure!
